I think _. _. was there and put her in his car and took off mad as Hell!

I actually wish Kelli had told NH who it was that frightened her and made her want to get out of his car I do not think NH is guilty of this..

That whole alleged 'conversation' between Kelli and NH was only told by NH. We have no proof that conversation ever happened...he had a couple of days to concoct a story...and IMO, that is just part of his story. I don't believe it ever took place.
IMO, I think you are giving this RSO too much credit...credit he does not deserve given his history for lying & omitting the truth. (i.e. no one knew he lived behind the bar, he gave a false address to probation officer, his vehicle paperwork was falsified).

Not giving him credit at all.
I just dont think he did it!
Never did!

I could very well be wrong.

Im just not feeling it.

I think ppl knew he lived behind the bar.
They had to!

I think if NH did it they would have found her already!
and LE would have had some kind of evidence...

Hey im all for keeping SO's in jail forever and never letting them out
but i dont think this guy did it!

No one knows that that conversation didnt happen!

I cant see a SO'er with a girl at a bar where EVERYONE sees him and her together knows he picked her up and dropped her off knew she was a friend of his why would he kill her and think he would get away with it everyone saw them together~ Im just not seeing it and i do think blank blank was there PO'd as all get out and put her in the car and took offf she was never seen again!

Just my theory!

Well this is true but i think LE has their suspicions of someone maybe they are waiting for that person to trip up!

It s so very sad how these cases come to a stand still.
All because some guy needs a girl or a husband gets angry or someone gest jealous.... These cases go on for years and years.... and these cowards get away with it.

BBM - so true, so sadly true!
Why can't the guy who "needs" a gal, simply spend a few bucks for a pro and let go at that... why can't the husband or boyfriend back off and cool down...

Got to be these men (if you can call them that) need to have complete control...

Greetings everyone, this is my first time posting. I remember the day Kelli went missing, it was all over the local news. The following weekend, my husband and a friend were hiking one of the local trails and they watched a helicopter fly very low to the ground. We suspect it was searching for Kelli. Everywhere in the Fayetteville area are swamps, lakes, streams, and run-off-ponds. A person would be hard press to go anywhere here, even in town, and not find a body of water. This concerns me.
I am very familiar with the area that Kelli was last seen i.e., Ramsey street and Froggie Bottoms, while the area is in town, there are a lot of wooded areas to be covered. The past several weeks have been so hot and humid I commend anyone that has been out searching for Kelli.
I can only speak of my experience, the Fayetteville area is no place to walk alone (I am not suggesting Kelli walked alone). When I go for walks, I carry pepper spray and a baton. This not only protects me from the many stray dogs, but also from people. I don’t live in a particularly bad area, from my house I see other women walk in groups and/or with sticks in hand. The area that Kelli lives, like most places in Fayetteville is not one of the safest, although I don’t know of a safe place in Fayetteville. I don’t go out after dark. I am not trying to paint Fayetteville as a bad place; I am merely marking my experience.
My schedule does not allow me to search on Saturday with the rest of the searchers. I look for Kelli. Because there are times I go alone, I stay in my car. Sometimes I get in my car and drive, and look for Kelli. Probably won’t do any good, but Kelli is on my mind every day, and every day I look for her, it doesn’t matter where - the grocery store, the gas station, or the local mall, I look. When my husband drives I stare out the window looking for any clue that I might find. I will keep looking as so many are. We will find you Kelli.

i thought it was HER car, not his?! That is what's leading to all his suspicion....she told him she wanted out of her own car and that he could just return it at a later time?!?!

Hello & :wagon:!

BBM - so true, so sadly true!
Why can't the guy who "needs" a gal, simply spend a few bucks for a pro and let go at that... why can't the husband or boyfriend back off and cool down...

Because it's illegal and I do believe (in my own heart and opinion) that NOT legalizing prostitution is a war on women. They could regulate it, make it safer, lets these pervs get their rocks off on women who don't mind, and there's that little thing that this country needs.....taxes and revenue. IMO, it would of saved a lot of these girls (also, locking up sex offenders for life is a #1 on my list).

No, it was NH who drove his (NH's) car, both to pick up Kelli and take her to FB and then to drive her back home. Kelli's car was in the parking lot of her apartment bldg.

The only way to stop children and young women from going missing (and then never found) is for someone to invent an implantable GPS device and every single person has it implanted and it's registered and if they go missing some kind of software can track them down. As far as I know there is no such device, though there are GPS devices that can be affixed to someone's wrist or their purse/backpack or their car. But something that isn't removable and isn't visible to any perp. This in combination with some kind of panic function. Yes I know it doesn't exist in the form it needs to, but this is what is needed.

The second thing is for no young woman to go out without an escort. No runs alone, no bike rides alone, no going to the bus stop alone, never at night alone, walking along a road, etc, etc. Never taking a ride from any man who isn't in the female's family. Safety in numbers. Gals up to 30 years old need to have it drilled in their heads to not blindly trust, to not be alone, to not accept any rides. A little paranoia isn't a bad thing because it if alters behavior and makes a gal more aware and more self-protective, that's a positive.

I remember KB mother bringing this point up very early in the investigation yet in NH interviews he never brings this point up.He says that he assumed that maybe she did not want him to know where she lived or that there might be someone at her house that she did not want to see her with him.He never says anything about her being afraid of something or someone.Strange?

I think _. _. was there and put her in his car and took off mad as Hell!

Or Kelli got in his car to 'talk' so the neighbors wouldn't hear them. She probably knew it could get loud.

Just an option/scenario that may have played out. He may have started driving in the direction that her cell phone last pinged.

Some of the worst serial killer cases are the ones who target prostitutes. :waitasec: Would legalization help those women? Because many are hooked on drugs and that would have to be legalized too, etc. I'm not sure the solution is that simple. For some prostitutes, legalization would probably make their job safer though. I'm not sure it would save other random girls though.

They're driven by something more than just a need for sex. It's beyond that as they are twisted in their brains and angry and have no respect of life when it comes to female life. One guy said he went around killing woman because he'd been rejected by the woman he loved. Wow. He was getting back at women in general for the hurt one woman caused him.

Then there's the BTK killer who recounted all of his 'kills' without any remorse in court. He just liked to kill women - no particular reason other than it turned him on to do so but he didn't rape his victims. Sick.

I've been meaning to check to see if any of these killers childhood circumstances have been studied. I know of one serial killer, whose name escapes me at the moment, dad has been outspoken and there's been T.V. interviews with him and his serial killer son. The one who kept a trunk/box thingy in his closet. There's one serial killer who has recounted close calls of his mother finding out that he had just killed somebody. She drove the car with a body in the trunk to the store before he had dumped the body. This may be a different killer. No sixth sense? Ever? Weird.

Hey im all for keeping SO's in jail forever and never letting them out

And now that the bar owner has been caught and is behind bars for his unrelated crimes, why would he continue to keep quiet if he heard NH had hurt Kelli? Along with VOI and at least three others who saw NH leave to pick up Kelli sticking to their testimony?

What I mean is, people may have stuff to hide but all those people aren't going to support a known killer. Right? No way.

When I heard Olivia say she's not even sure NH picked Kelli up afterall, it really bothered me because I've believed all along that he did pick her up. Now VOI confirms that to be true and we assume LE has spoken to all these guys/gals. Why isn't the family in on the few facts that there seems to be? Was LE able to verify how the request/offer for a ride happened? VOI, do you know? Did NH have a cell phone? Is it possible Kelli called the bar phone? Why didn't anyone collect her money to settle her tab? They weren't on a date afterall. Why would Kelli's tab remain unpaid at the end of the night? Was she not feeling well?

IMO it doesn't help the investigation for the family to be in the dark about certain 'facts' pertaining to the case. That said, LE hasn't publically said one way or the other but, imo, VOI would let the subject drop if there was a question in his/her mind. Also, Olivia did state that Kelli's car was in the parking lot of her apartment complex. So, how does Olivia think Kelli got to the bar and what was her plan for getting home? She mentioned that Kelli was an avid runner so does she think she'd walk/run? Would Kelli risk walking home with warnings and reports of there being an area rapist on the loose? That's not the smart girl Kelli is portrayed to be. Nothing adds up here - there's still a piece to the puzzle missing imo. Could the area rapist have been in the bar that night waiting for Kelli to be driven home? He may have left a lot earlier and no one even suspects him of being her abductor to this day. What better cover than to know your next victim is being dropped off at her place by a RSO.

This sounds very reasonable and in my opinion is just what has happened
here.
I believe she knew this person from work, or even back in FL and talking
things out took an awful turn!
I never thought NH was involved in Kelli being missing nor anyone
else at FB. It's just a gut feeling that has stayed with me from the beginning. I don't believe it was stranger danger neither.
Kelli, I believe, knew who this person was.
Pieces to this are missing. Hopefully LE has more than we know. JMO

It's time for Kelli to return home to her family and friends!

My impression was that Olivia simply doesn't want to think about anything concerning her sister and Holbert. Like I said before...the guy makes her stomach turn. It seems like it's very painful for her to come to grips with the possibility that Nick Holbert ferried her to and from the bar, considering the fact that he has served prison time for a heinous crime against a female and now Kelli is missing. Olivia seems like an extremely positive person who has a hard time facing something that unpleasant.

The last message sent from her phone was "got home safe".Who besides NH would that message help to clear?Who besides NH would send a fake message like that.Certainly not her husband. If he was in town that night that message would put him as the last person to see her.I also do not see why some random attacker would want or care if people believed she got home safe. The only person who needs people to believe she got home safe is the guy that was giving her a ride home that night.

I actually don't think it clears anyone. That message is just as corny
as the other, I forget how it went, something about a man taking me home??
I can't really grasp why anyone would sent the messages at all because
it clears no one in my opinion. Just adds more mystery.
I know if I was the perp, I would have stayed away from the messages
and the ride. Too much info. jmo
