The chair looks like a Doctor's Chair or Dentist's Chair with the lever being the paper roller, IMHO.

THANK YOU!!! Sorry to shout, but that rectangular thing, what ever it is, bothers me a great deal.

There was an X-Files episode that involved restraint in a dentist's chair. Ick.

Still see a resemblance to a step ladder, folded. JMHO

I must not be looking at the same picture

There is a white or silver something behind her neck. Might be pushing her head forward?

Looks like the top of a folded aluminum stepladder to me,

looks like the top of a dentist's chair with rig for holding the roll of paper to Big City Accountant.

What does the white/silver thing look like to you?

Weird how everyone sees different things. I don't see a chair at all. The thing behind her head just looks like the end of the rolled up towel or whatever is being used to gag her. :moo:

For those of you on the Abby/Libby thread I feel like this is deja vu and here we go again trying to guess "what is that thing?" :waitasec:

She also sent carlk braids of hair.. and when she was asked about the hair she said she thinks it was his.. where is this hair now? Maybe it should be tested to rule out if it was the man's or a victim.

I could see not saying anything until they were split out of fear. She is probably fearful.

The hair needs to be sent to police! If it IS his and he has DNA connected to an unsolved crime, this could be helpful.

How many of us truly believe LE will spend the time and money to test it though? :notgood:

I don't see a chair.. I don't see a lever.. what I see is whatever she is gagged with has rubber tubing (like tubing that is on a blood pressure cuff) coming out of the end and and throughout the gag you can see the stitching where the tubing is sewn in!

Kind of like an air cast for the neck or maybe an air cervical collar type of thing or something like a blood circulator thing that fills up with air when it's hooked up to a machine! My opinion only!

I don't see anything white and silver

I see why people are seeing a lever.. because the rubber tubing kind of bends when it hits her shoulder kind of like what your hair would do! And her hair also "bends" over the tubing! My opinion only!

Or if it's not his and belongs to a possible victim, the results of hair test could solve a cold case which could possibly save money in the long run by freeing up detectives case load!

Right-O!

Hopefully one of us will see "it" in a flea market, or on-line, or in a neighbor's house sans-young lady & will be able to get a picture.

(I do not think this is a Chihuahua in a Wal-Mart bag...or the dog & people & aliens in the Nissan at the gun shop in Texas on the Missy Bevers case.)

For the lady to send in the hair and then when questioned about the hair at a later date after carlk probably told her that she called local law enforcement, for her to say that now she thinks it's his hair all sounds kind of shady to me! Why send it in first place? Maybe change of heart because she wasn't mad at him anymore.

I don;'t think it's that at all. She's been divorced from him for years, and has remarried. From listening to her, I see that there is no warm spot at all in her heart for the guy. It's not all that unusual for someone to be unwilling to step forward for whatever reason. If she felt the authorities were corrupt and would protect him, that would be one reason. That would explain why she decided to reach out to someone unaffiliated with the local authorities, and she probably chose me because she saw my comments on the Websleuths Angie Hamby thread, regarding the resemblance of the Hamby perp composite sketch to serial murderer Christopher Below.

Here is a photo of the locks of hair, and the slide

This is so bizarre that she sent those to you, Carl! Question, is it possible to get the hair (and the photo) entered into Namus as an unidentified person? Could they run the DNA of the hair against all open UID/missing cases? It may not be any evidence of a crime but its sure is creepy, IMO.

The hair is cut off away from the roots. There is no DNA in hair strands. You can only get DNA from hair if there is a root attached.

And even if they could, NamUs wouldn't do anything with this. There is no missing person or even an official case associated with it.
