Can someone here explain to me exactly how bail works? Specifically, bail bonds and such?

look at how the color changes though? a envelope would not normally change color of brownness. and the pink Yarn is 100% Yarn OR something like Yarn I blew it up giant let me cut it show I can show you.

6angels I'm pretty sure that is either brown bags (or envelopes) and what you are seeing is shadows.

Sorry trying to catch up here.

Maybe someone can answer a question for me ...
What happens to evidence that is (potentially) destroyed as part of an investigation if that evidence is owned by a third party innocent?

Where are you going with this question? Not sure I understand.

I have my camera in my car and do not work very far away. If something major comes up, I will be happy to sneak out of work and scoot on down there for more photos. :)

Yes it also looked like they were taking photos with a flash camera in addition to the other lighting.

Thats what I thought.

I'm wondering this, as well. Are you talking about all the damage to the home and the fact that it's owned by MC?

Not to mention the fact that they will be hard pressed to ever get a tenant in there again, even once repairs are made.

In Some State, Restitution will be paid for damage, that was necessary in the investigation of a crime.

Another good morning to all and another thank you SOOO much to all of the locals doing footwork for all of us!! It is greatly appreciated!!!

So where is AB now that he has bonded out? And police say EB is "cooperating" but what exactly does that mean? Has she told them everything or is she just giving them bits and pieces?

Gotta log off and get some sleep, but I just want to say that I do think the items in the pic is what LE uses at a crime scene. If you look closely, you can see the manuals he uses. Those are alo manila envelopes on top. That is a not a childs shoe, IMO. Look at it's size in comparison to LE's hand. No way would a crime scene technician ever just throw evidence in plastic containers altogether like that. Each piece of evidence will be bagged and numbered seperately, otherwise you will get cross contamination and the evidence will be of no use.

Just all JMO. *Hoping for news tomorrow!

I agree, you're absolutely right! They are very careful to preserve DNA. A child's shoe would have been in one bag by itself.

Like someone else here, I spent about 25 minutes last night refreshing thread 27 wondering why it had gone so quiet:loser::banghead::blushing:

That thread really didn't seem to have a "continue here" post. I started to realize it was closed because the "quote" buttons were missing.

These are the newest articles out this morning, probably already know it all but here they are...

Police returned to the Baker home to continue their search for evidence on Thursday morning, one day after discovering what they believe is the prosthetic leg of missing ten-year-old Zahra Baker.
Adam Baker, who first reported Zahra missing in a 911 call on Oct. 9, bonded out of the Catawba County Jail just after 6 pm. Baker had been jailed on a $7,000 bond on charges unrelated to his daughter's disappearance.

I just found this about luminal from the Wiki, if anyone is interested...
........................[ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luminol[/ame]

i'm sort of on the fence about AB, but my gut tells me he didn't know what was going on...just my opinions, but i stilll think that he and LE had agreed on a time for him to come in after he picked up his family so as to avoid the media...I still feel that they wanted him in there while EB was out,, perhaps for EB's safety, (who knows, maybe they were afraid he would go after her). As far as him not knowing, it really wouldn't be that hard, oh honey, don't bother her, she's sleeping, she's been sick etc...my hubby would go for that in a heartbeat, doesn't make him a bad dad, he would just want his kid to rest...if he did see her Thursday, I'm assuming would be evening after work and then come home Friday night,, EB says she's sick, then it would not be so far fetched for him to say the last time he saw her was thursday.

As for his emotions, I can relate to that, well not anymore but for a long time I could have, My son had bone cancer when he was 2 he went through chemo, radiation, surgery, you name it, when something like that happens to your child you learn really quick how control your emotions, you really have no choice,,you have to be almost invincible because the minute you stop you fall apart, i would guess he is still in that mode, it hasn't been that long..I can remember people saying to me, how can you talk about it so calmly, what they didn't realize was that if i started to be emotional about it I would be no good to anyone.

anywho, just wanted to throw that out there,, again, JMO
But after reading what bio mom has written, (assuming she did write that)
she had "NO IDEA" he took her out of the Country. That she and her family were looking for the little Angel :( I cant make him out to be a good guy YET  you dont forge a passport and take your
kid away from Bio Mom......
So I am leaving my assessments about him open but I am leaning toward THIS was a done by both of them, they both knew what was going on, and they both need to be charge.
I am also open to change my mind because I still have not read everything.
RIP little angel

Thanks to those who gave us the first hand account! Your insight and info was awesome!!

Sure wish we could get a featured case discussion for Zahra. Mods? Please, pretty please with PunKnLuV's redneck cherries on top? :innocent:

My theory is that whatever happened obviously happened in the house and more precisely on the bed. AB and EB aren't going to dump a mattress without the need to do it. The sheets, bedding and possibly clothing was then burned in a small fire outside the house. Then they were like well crap, if we say she is missing now, a small burn mark in the backyard will look suspicious. So they scoop up the remnants of the fire, bury them and then place a woodpile on top of the buried spot. Then they light a bigger fire to conceal the initial one. Lets face it, where have they been looking since the get go...wood/brush piles. Just my, sleep deprived theory!

Praying today is Zahra's day!

I hope LE got tons of evidence yesterday during their search of the house and yard.

She needs to be found. It makes me sick to think of her out there somewhere while someone knows exactly where she is and is covering their arses.
