Stoopid reporter........has he followed LE around to see if he's with them!!!!!!

Well even if she did call herself... Chances are, in an SUV covered in gasoline, near a fire... the ransom note is going to go up in flames. So if you want to use the ransom note why put it into that gas soaked SUV?

I am certain this has already been discussed but I think she or he, or she and he, soaked the car to get rid of the smell of a decomposing body.

:(

To bolo or not to bolo; that is the question.

If some station's reporting this just because he isn't available to them, that's cheap journalism.

There was a local news reporter on HLN about 20 minutes ago. He stated he had gone to the Baker home several times in an attempt to interview AB.

He said no answer when knocking on door and "it appears he has skipped town" :furious:

He can run but he can't hide! Where can he go anyway? I'm trusting LE, they would not let him disappear....surely

I think some reporter was just trying to have his own "bombshell" moment.

K9 crews indicated earlier in the week that traces of human remains were found on wood processing equipment in an area where Baker's father once worked, but detectives with the Burke County Sheriff's Office said that is no longer a solid lead.

On Wednesday, crews drained a small pond using fire tanker trucks. They were digging through a large wood pile the night before. The search team, which consists of two K9 crews and 45 people, say they will leave no stone unturned.

“Just to be able to say that she's not here, or if she is here, be able to locate her and give the family some type of closure,” said Detective Michael Ollis, of the Burke County Sheriff's Office.

i am so waiting for this case to break WIDE OPEN.......he is a foreigner and I think may not be smarter than us.......grrrrrrr.

Exactly. They can't locate him so he must have skipped town.

I just read an article, I will see if I can locate it where it said dad is spending the majority of his time with investigators. So they are keeping a tight leash on him.

Didn't know if this had been posted here yet or not...

Should Schools have raised red flag in Zahra Baker Case
On Thursday, Channel 9 investigated why someone hadn’t notice Zahra Baker was missing sooner.
A lot of times, the schools are the first ones to pick up on these things, but in this case no education officials at any level, in any county, knew where Baker was.
Channel 9 learned that Baker finished last school year in Caldwell County, but then she didn't show up for the first few days of school this year.
Channel 9 spoke with a school spokesperson, Libby Brown, on Thursday. She said a school counselor called Baker's parents and that Baker's parents said they moved to Hickory and were probably going to home-school Baker.

Brown said, "There was no more contact with the family. They refused to speak to the school."

Anybody know what station the reporter was from that reported the BOLO?

Elisa Baker told them she was she was a police officer who was shot in the line of duty. She also said she was a bounty hunter and had met celebritites.

The things the family friend said in this article have me crying all over again......how even so young and about to lose her leg, Zahra thought more of others than herself...and especially how she didn't want to come to America.......she didn't want to leave her grandparents :-( WHY OH WHY didn't they just let her STAY there?!?!?!

:-(((((

Australia maybe???

IIRC, passports were found in one of the vehicles. Did LE confiscate these under the search warrant or does AB still have it?

I was impressed with the sheriff's interview. He seems like he can see thru someone's BS.

So, if he is no longer cooperating with LE & the news media cannot find him at is home, where is he????

Let me tell you - when the FBI gets involved, its serious. They are serious and sneaky. They already know this guy might just be a suicide threat, they have already profiled him, and they have put a GPS on his vehicle and possibly even a hidden camera inside his car as well. They will get you to think they are your best friend and believe every word you say - only to let you feel comfortable.

They are watching him. His every move. He can't even go take a pee without them knowing about it - believe me.

That "reporter" needs to be reported. Can I say *advertiser censored* on here?
