Thanks JenniD - I’m not sure I could have sat through AT’a testimony without wanting to rush him and beat the crap out of him. He is so disgusting.

From Terra Gehrig’s testimony, I get the impression Sydney has met other women on dating apps who were looking for someone to join for a threesome with their boyfriend, or were bi-curious. It seems like she had no interest in those kind of relationships, much less with a fat old man.

I’m still mystified why AT is continuing to cover for BB, even though he inadvertently threw her under the bus.

Also it’s curious to me the prosecution didn’t drill into AT. I’m sure they were prepared for this scenario based on AT’s love of attention. I will be looking for the video to see the cross exam as well and come to my own conclusions.

Prosecutors laid out a timeline of people involved throughout the year of 2017.


Trail/Boswell in the apartment in June of 2017.


(A.H.) came into the group soon after that. Boswell told A.H. she would have a sugar daddy (Trail) if she joined.

. A.H. met Boswell through Tinder, Trail was the one who picked her up first. Prosecutors say within the first conversation with A.H., Trail was already discussing killing.


A.H. told him she was abused by her step-father, she told Trail that she would like him dead.

Trail showed A.H. a “Kill Bag” with a sauna suit and other tools. “You will own yours when you get your first kill.”

There was a trip to Walmart in Beatrice - “The frist kill” would have been at Walmart.


Boswell and A.H. stood off to the side while Trail talked to the blonde woman at Walmart that they were planning to kill.


Took a trip from Wilber to Beatrice to pick out the woman.

As A.H. left and got a new job. A new woman A.G. was found between August-October.


Trail and Boswell set up a meeting with A.G. to talk about what they could offer her if she joined.

Boswell/Trail told A.G. about the witchcraft - A.G. told them she didn’t believe it. Instead, it turned into a “snuff” video - the reward is a million dollars.

K.B. then came into the picture -Prosecutors said she wanted companionship with Boswell.


K.B. knew Trail was a package deal with Boswell so she goes with it

Boswell showed K.B. a picture of A.G. as the person they were going to kill.


Prosecutors talked about K.B. having sex with Boswell and talking dirty to her (torture techniques).

On Nov. 13th, Boswell would get off to torture techniques a few days before Loofe's death.


Loofe is dead two nights later (15th)/her body is dumped out in Clay County a few nights later.

Prosecutors said people at the Grand Weaver hotel tried to help Loofe.


Trail told them to take the pictures down to Fall City and show John Cummings (the man who worked at the antique auction house)


Prosecutors said Trail lied constantly to help take the focus off of him.

Nov.13th - texts show Boswell trying to get Loofe’s address so she could pick her up for the next day.


Nov. 14th, Boswell and Trail are seen checking into the Best Western Plus in Lincoln.


There is no evidence of Loofe going into the Best Western.

Prosecutors said Loofe asked the question to over messages Boswell before the date.


“It’s just going to be you and me?” Boswell responds with “Of course. I will protect you, I don’t play games.”

Prosecutors said Loofe had no idea it was the same woman she had met back in March.

. Prosecutors said they believe Loofe was dead within the first 40 minutes; Loofe died on the living room floor, trying to get away.


Prosecutors said Loofe was targeted to be killed. This death was composed as a personal attack.

The police called K.B. and Trail admitted he freaked out when K.B. got the call.

Prosecutors attempt to poke holes in Aubrey Trail's story; jury could get case today

Trail, as well as two hotel clerks from Falls City, Nebraska, testified Tuesday that Loofe was with Trail and Boswell at the hotel once or twice during the summer or early fall of 2017.

But work records indicated that Loofe, 24, was working at Menards in Lincoln on most of the days Trail and Boswell checked into the hotel, the Grand Weaver, during 2017.

And a selfie taken by Boswell during one of those visits appeared to show a different blond girl with them.

Falls City auctioneer John Cummings also testified that he knew Trail well from his dealings in antiques. But Cummings, when shown a picture of Loofe in court on Wednesday, said he’d never seen “this individual” with Trail.

Aubrey Trail trial: FBI agent called to testify again; defense, prosecution both rest

On Wednesday, the prosecution had one more chance to call witnesses and chose call FBI Agent Mike Maseth once again.

The prosecution also called a man who ran an auction house in Falls City, who Trail told investigators would have seen Loofe there.

Both sides rested their case after the witness.

After closing arguments, the jury will get instructions regarding deliberations and what they can find Trail guilty of. He is charged with first-degree murder but could be found guilty of a lesser crime.

The jury will be sequestered during deliberations.

I think it's when he said that he was in it for the money, but BB was in it for the sex. I guess that could sound like it was BB's idea. I also didn’t understand the “throwing Bb under the bus. He changed his story from “ she wasn’t in the room” to she was having sex with SL - but didn’t see that it implicated BB any more or less

Yesterday when AT testified they were taking him through the timeline from the 14th until they were arrested. At one point he said that he ,BB and KB returned to the clay center dumping site and they moved a few of the bags to a more secluded area. He indicated that was how KB got scratches on her legs. I have not read all the news reports or watched the available video yet so not sure if that was included anywhere. I think he said that it was the 18th or 19th which could have been on their way to Grand Island. If he threw anyone under the bus it was KB. I have heard nothing more of this statement???

One more thing. Can the jury find trail guilty of a lesser crime than which he is accused? For example he is accused Of first-degree murder, could they find him guilty of seconddegree murder or manslaughter?

I guess I felt that he finally admitted she was there. All along he has proclaimed that she wasn’t there and now he finally did. We all KNEW she was but it seemed to me he was gonna die trying to convince everyone she wasn’t.
