Their trip following that consisted of hotel stops in Council Bluffs, Grand Island, Kearney, and a Super 8 outside of Des Moines.
Boswell picked up K.B. in Omaha on the 17th. She described Trail and Boswell as more "quiet and tense than usual" that day.
By Nov. 19, K.B., Trail and Boswell journeyed from Council Bluffs to Grand Island for an apparent "cocaine run" that Trail was making.
Trail didn't find the cocaine, and decided to head for Kearney on the 22nd.
Trail and Boswell said they were going to pick someone from the UNK campus for K.B. to kill.
"They said it'd be easy to find someone who wouldn't be missed," K.B. said, citing the high number of foreign exchange students that attend UNK.
"(Boswell) also talked about dismembering people, and breaking fingers and fingernails."
...
K.B. said Tuesday that Trail decided to leave Kearney, because Boswell "met a girl that was missing and they were getting blamed for it."
Loofe was reported missing on Nov. 16 - six days prior to this.
On the 22nd, K.B. suggested the three of them head for Iowa, because Trail apparently wanted to get out of the state.
They took K.B.'s silver Chrysler Sebring to a Super 8 just outside of Des Moines. Trail had instructed K.B. to turn off her phone and computer, so they wouldn't be tracked.
When K.B. turned her phone on upon arrival at the Super 8, she immediately received a call from the Omaha Police Department.
Her mother filed a missing person report on her. Authorities also informed K.B. that her father was having major health issues.
K.B. decided to go home to Omaha, but before she left, she agreed to swap her silver Sebring for Trail's Black Ford 500.
...
K.B. said she never heard Loofe's name during her time with Trail and Boswell. She was unaware of her disappearance until her mother said it on Nov. 23.
K.B. also said Tuesday that she was worried "for over a year" that she was with Trail and Boswell when they disposed of Loofe's body, because she couldn't remember anything that happened on Nov. 18.
She thought that she had somehow repressed the memory.
However, phone records show that Trail and Boswell were in Clay County on Nov. 16, and were never there before or after that.
FBI special agent Mike Maseth said Wednesday that phone records show K.B. in Omaha from Nov. 14-17.
Receipts also show that K.B. was shopping at a Plattsmouth WalMart on the afternoon of the 18th.
The defense previously thought that there was another woman with Trail and Boswell on the 16th when they disposed of Loofe's body, but there's no substantial evidence of that at this time.

Maseth, who's been on the stand multiple times this trial, presented the jury with 12 pages of a Tinder conversation between Loofe and Boswell.
These hadn't been presented as evidence yet. The two matched on Tinder the weekend of Nov. 11-12, and began a lengthy conversation.
Most of it was basic get-to-know-you questions, like "Where are you from? and "Favorite place to eat?"
The conversation then shifted to arranging a date the week of Nov. 13. The two talked about "cruising around and smoking weed."
"I can get you some bomb *advertiser censored* s*** if you want it," Boswell said in a message, referring to marijuana.
On Nov. 14, around midday, Loofe provided Boswell with her Lincoln address (6601 Colfax Ave.) for the first time. Within a minute, Boswell Google searched the address, and then made a reservation for a room at Best Western Plus in north Lincoln.
Boswell and Loofe had their first date the evening of the 14th. They drove around Lincoln and smoked weed, and Boswell took Loofe home before 10 p.m.
Boswell and Trail spent that night at Best Western, before making stops at Menard's, Home Depot, Aardvark Antique Mall and Dollar General in Wilber on the 15th.
At 12:23 p.m. on the 15th, Boswell messaged Loofe, "just on my first break," as she pretended to be working.
Records show that Boswell and Trail were just pulling out of the parking lot of the Menard's on N 27th St. in Lincoln when that message was sent.
Surveillance footage also showed Trail entering that store, and turning to look at Loofe from behind.
On the afternoon of the 15th, Loofe asked if her second date with Boswell would just be the two of them.
"Lol, of course," Boswell replied, making no mention that Trail would be involved.
Just before 7 p.m. on the 15th, Boswell picked Loofe up at her Lincoln residence and drove her to Wilber. The last Tinder message exchanged between them was sent at 6:54.
"Here," Boswell said.
