Those girls wouldn't NEED to be hired for a party! There's already action like that going on without shelling out any money! As much as some cannot believe it, because that's not the way they party/partied, that's the norm today You can go into almost any young adult party and find this type of thing going on. You can go onto Myspace and look at 10 random accounts of that age range and find party pics like this. Believe it or not, it's the truth

if this is the truth then eventually i'll have to accept it, sarah but i'll tell you two things - even if this is now normal behaviour for young people i will never believe that it's right or acceptable behaviour for a mother AND my daughter will be spending her teenage years at queen ethelburga's college thank you very much.

See, it's not like Caylee was in the pic with her! My G0d, if there were pictures of the things I'd done when my son wasn't around. I don't know, I tend to want to give her credit for this because she did leave her child home when she partied. I can't tell you the people I know that party with their child in the room, smoking weed and everything. If a picture came out of Casey doing something like that? Then I'd have issue with it.. but this? no.. I think people just see her as all bad and she's not. Those pictures are not shocking, not to me.. she isn't partying in a way I haven't partied before.

ITA! To me, these pictures have absolutely no relevance to this case at all. It's just a party girl doing her thing a couple of years ago.

The only thing that could maybe be seen as probative is if (and that's a big if) those lollipops are really rollipops since it would finally tell us if Casey ever did anything more than drink or smoke weed. But honestly, I don't even think the occasional recreational drug use by Casey would be a big deal either. Maybe if it could be shown that hard drugs were directly related to Caylee's death. But right now, no evidence points to that.

I hate to sound like a KC apologist here, but these pics really tell us nothing.

I must agree. It may be more commonplace today, but to call it the norm? If so, then we all need to take a very close look at what our children are doing and tell them to gain some self-respect. If we're talking about homosexuals, OK. But I can't believe the majority of the college-age population is gay or bi-sexual. So if young women today are doing it for attention or some other reason, it's very sad.

Remeber though, norm is not 100%. You will always find kids that say it doesn't happen at their parties. But, I believe they are now in the minority.

Dude, we (my "crowd") were doing that in high school! I graduated in 1991. This kind of stuff is not new.. gosh, remember the 70's, hell they make us look like we don't know what we are doing!

Dude, I can only tell you that I was not doing that in high school, college, or any other time. I've lived in three different states since college, and I've never seen anyone I know do that kinda stuff. It's not commonplace to me at all.

You might be right. I don't watch MTV at all.. not ever. However, I did watch "Rock of Love" and maybe there was some goings-on on that show. Of course, these were all super hot-bodied women on TV, vying to get in bed with a rock star. (just rambling.... )

While I agree with natsound that it's not as commonplace as some would have you believe, when I have seen it (YouTube, MySpace) it seems like the girly-kissy stuff seems to happen most among 15-17 year old girls. Apparently being bi is less a lifestyle for some teens/young adults and more a party phase. It's "hot" to turn on guys by kissing your friend, apparently.

I mean, yes, I've seen it but it's less for my age group and more for the girls who can't get into the real clubs yet. In my experience.

I would not say the majority..

However, if it is any hope to you. My daughter "dirtied danced" like this with her best friend. She is and was a good kid. Alot of parents, try to be their kids best friend.. and allow to much. Some parents lay down the law and do not really talk or connect with their kids and alot of those kids hide what they do.

My daughter is married 2 1/2 yrs.. does not dirty dance anymore, married, goes to church and leads a very happy and normal life.. no drugs and maybe a couple of "drinking parties" a year. No kids yet.
Her friend on the other hand is still single... still parties and will till she gets to old and it looks ridiculous.

lol OLG! I'm 51 and still have friends like you are describing. I was the wild child 'back in the day' (as my grown kids say) Every generation has a new "norm" or what is considered pretty commonplace and it's always shocking when some realize it I think! Thank g-d, my daughter(33) was/is such a straight arrow, but my son, (23) and a good guy....I can see him being at someones house and this going on. Doesn't mean I like it, but it wouldn't be 'shocking'.

That's what makes me so angry. I did this . I was an escort, cheated on my husband, did drugs, sold drugs, went to jail, left my mental illness untreated, yet somehow my child has lived to be 14 (and a good kid at that!). I did not have much in the way of morals but I found other options for my childs well being when I felt I would be unable to draw a line.

So even IF she was all these things, I don't care, I just don't find any of it to be an excuse. You still have a choice- I know you do. If she did this- she should rot- I don't care what made her this way, ya know?

Ya know you may have been all the things you stated above BUT you were capable about worrying about someone(your child) as well as yourself. That IMO is the difference. It sounds like KC had people willing to help her, she just didn't want THEM, she would rather Caylee be dead then be with anyone else. I find nothing she does to be an excuse either.

ETA- I also graduated h/s in 1991 and we did some of this crazy crap as well. It's been around for a while, certainly nothing new..just a bit more pronounced I think!

Casey's old friends (like the girlfriends in these pictures) said Caylee was always at home with the family when Casey was out partying with them. Casey's family said the same early in the case, that Casey had been allowed to have the normal social life of a 19, 20, and 21 year old, etc. With Caylee growing up in the grandparents' home, they were also very much like parents to her. I seriously doubt that Casey and her girlfriends took Caylee along to party or to work a party and drugged her and left her in a car or something.

When AH was describing Caylee sleeping at one of their parties, of course that was during the time frame where Casey and Caylee were living at JP's townhouse with Ricardo, JP, and Amy, off and on spring-summer '08. Ricardo and Amy said Caylee was normally put to bed at a good bedtime, during a party I think it's perfectly understandable that she was up somewhat later due to the excitement, and then when she was tired, she fell asleep. I don't believe Caylee was drugged to make her sleep while there. I know the theory has always been out there, I just don't personally find it very believable because I don't see Casey having any need to dope Caylee, and no evidence has come out so far to that effect. MOO

When did KC and Caylee "live" @ JP's?? I know she stayed there, but did not know she moved in.

I did not read all of the posts, but I viewed the pictures, and in them KC is sucking on a lollipop. My son said that is a BIG sign that the person is on Xstasy. (something about rolling, they use lollipops, pacifiers etc) Apparently it makes you very uninhibited sexually (did she need a drug for that???) , and usually when the girls do it, they end up very touchy feely & kissy with other girls. In most of KC's less racy ?? pictures, she poses, smiles etc. These are pretty candid photos and are telling a story. Her face looks like she is out of it, adn drugged in the one where you can really see her. I believe these are the photos that GA said a father should never have to see of his daughter. I would be heartbroken and would not want to hear about it being trendy to behave like that.

I believe the pacifier sucking became a trendy thing among some non-drug users too. I remember going to the state fair recently and seeing young teens with big pacifiers in their mouths. OK, maybe they WERE using drugs, but seems to me it became somewhat of a fashion accessory.
