I just loved it when CA said that she is a rational person who thinks things through before she speaks! And the interviewer responded with something along the lines of "yes, I can see that." Priceless.

(Sorry if someone else commented on this - haven't read this entire thread yet.)

when you do watch them, keep the follwoing in mind.
#1. she ALWAYS brings the conversation back to herself
#2. she laughs and jokes and is very relaxed.
#3. never acts like she is grieving or deeply depressed.
#4. she thinks she is very clever and tells the FBI what to look at

She thinks casey is a saint, why doesnt the FBI show cindy the "compromising" pictures of casey. SHOW her what her daughter is really like, then mention the stealing from Amy...ask her to explain that.

Oh no, heaven forbid if somebody laid it on the line for cindy, we must tip toe around her with our kid gloves on for fear up upsetting the grieving grandmother.

I observed this same type of behavior in Lee in his LE interview(s.)

Remember early on when Cindy said Casey would be mother of the year once everyone knew the lengths Casey went to in protecting Caylee?

That was her talking about herself, not Casey. She meant SHE would be mother of the year in protecting Casey. I said the same thing at that time, and it is playing out right now. Her ego knows no bounds, and her morality and value system is completely corrupt.

Very astute observation. And remember CA has said that KC is an even better mother than herself (whatever that means.)

Well if you believe anything Cindy says you can take her word for it that she and Lee are a lot alike. Straight-shooters, they tell it like it is. In her own words "if it's black, its black. If it's white, it's white. If it's grey, it's grey. If it's a striped tie.." (she proceeds to comment almost flirtatiously on the ties of the 2 agents) you get the picture.

In a long line of inappropriate images, hoo doggy do I get the picture.

I have only seen snippets of the interviews. Like most here, I can't take too large a dose of CA at one time. But I definitely saw the flirtatous mannerisms with her hair, her leg, her shoe, etc. and noticed she likes to ramble on ad nauseum but once the interviewer speaks, her mind wanders back to the binder and she is ready to re-direct the course of the conversation. I find it more interesting and productive to read the analyses of the interviews here than to listen to them myself.

I can only imagine how the investigators, but Savage in particular, were reading her behavior. Gosh, I would give anything to hear their comments to one another thereafter.

I can't believe I am saying this; I have actually reviewed certain sections numerous times (masochist? maybe.), mostly after reading the observations and comments of other posters. Each time I pick up on more of Cindy's "quirks", I would love to know how professional behaviorists and profilers would analyse and respond to these interviews.

Can't remember which interview it was but it was CA going on about how due to follow up on LE's part that precious moments/minutes are going by that are lost in the search for Caylee and the FBI guy says something along the lines of well, those 31 days were some precious moments. I really wish he would have rephrased it and said, "Are you *advertiser censored**ing kidding me". Maybe CA would have related to that better since that's key KC and LA talk.

I don't think that is masochistic but rather an attempt to figure these people out. Someone said earlier in this thread that CA has no boundaries (e.g., moving into others' personal spaces, attempting to sit in their seats, uncouth mannerisms, impulsive talking, etc.) and that is right on the money, IMO. I am fascinated by her and I am not even sure why. I, also, would love to read a professional critique of these interviews. They are rich with material and I think a lot of the comments posted here are very accurate (and funny!)

Ditto!

Probably pretty much the same as we are except they wouldn't call her names like we do LOL.

she never wanted to "hear" the interviewer. completely tuned him out and changed the subject. It was one way. She has zero interest in anyone outside herself and her "extensions" she trys to control.

absolutely. I don't see any red flags here.

I was riveted on the notebook! The way she kept lining it up, pulling things out...noticed the highlighting...

The good student? CA almost throws the items at the interviewer when she pulls them out...flips to pages while the interviewer is talking...phew!

I'm on part 8 of 11. Listening to Cindy - Casey sounds awesome and I would love her as a friend!

:o

I've only been able to listen to the first two parts, and I'm finding it very difficult to listen to Cindy's endless narrative! She is the most obnoxious person I've ever heard! I think LE deserves some sort of bonus pay for having to sit and listen to her drivel for hours!

In all that I've seen so far, Cindy, like Casey, shows no emotion about her granddaughter. There wasn't any tears or signs of grief.

Cindy doesn't seem to understand that despite all she says, the bottom line is that her daughter is a monster, a liar, a thief, and in all likelihood, killed her own daughter. Cindy can talk until the cows come home and it's still not going to change the facts.
