Urgent update - missing 14-year-old Noah Donohoe

Please read our updated appeal for information below about missing 14-year-old Noah Donohoe.

We believe Noah left his home in South Belfast on Sunday 21 June at approximately 5.30pm.

Noah left his home on his black Apollo mountain bike wearing a black skateboarding helmet, khaki green North Face jacket, grey sweat shorts with an emblem on one leg, a tie-die blue hoody, Nike trainers with a bright yellow ‘tick’ and carrying a khaki rucksack.

Noah was seen on Ormeau Avenue at 5.45pm on Sunday evening. He is then sighted again on Royal Avenue heading towards York Street a short time after.

Noah was then seen on North Queen Street heading towards the Limestone Road at 5:57pm.

An eyewitness believes they saw a young male matching Noah’s description fall off his bicycle on Sunday evening, possibly sustaining a head injury, in the vicinity of North Queen Street/York Street, but we do not know the specific time.

We believe Noah got back on his bicycle, cycling into Northwood Road where he then abandons all his clothing, as he is seen a short time later cycling while naked. We believe Noah then dropped his bicycle and left the area on foot
.

“here have been no further confirmed sightings of Noah since 6.08pm on Sunday.

Police officers supported by air support unit, police dogs and our tactical support group have been searching the area alongside community rescue service colleagues and local volunteers.

Noah’s family and police are very concerned for Noah as this is completely out of character.

We need your help to find him. If you have any information please contact police immediately on 101 quoting reference number 1619 of 21/06/20.

What on earth? Where can he have gone, poor lad?

It sounds like a possible head injury has agitated him, or he was having some kind of emotional episode. Neither one sounds good tho :(

A young boy, naked on a bicycle in pretty much broad daylight...I’m surprised no one kept track of him/ followed him/ that he was able to just leave the area on foot without a trace. Unless he is in a shed/ garage/ house in the area of Seaview Drive, you’d think a motorist or pedestrians or someone looking out a window could give further indication to his movements once he left the street? It’s just so strange. The Shore Road are would be busy enough at that time even on a Sunday. I really can’t see him leaving the immediate area without being spotted :(

With the police saying he abandoned all his clothing, then later dropped his bike and continued on foot, does this mean LE has recovered those items?

Okay, if people saw him fall off his bike, no one stopped to see if he was okay? And if he eventually took off his clothes and was riding naked, no one followed him to see what was wrong?

I hope he is found today and is just injured and not worse.

This is why I can’t believe Noah has gone far from the area he was last seen in. At this time on Sunday it was bright and sunny though still blustery- rain had cleared away. I was in an area close to the Ormeau area where he travelled on his bike towards the Shore Road at the time he went missing and there were plenty of people around on foot and in vehicles. There was also a heightened police presence that day as we have been having problems with groups of teens congregating since lockdown was eased and also violent clashes in North Belfast. Northwood Road/ Premier drive exit onto a busy main road and there is a bus stop right there. It doesn’t stack up that a naked minor, on foot or on a bike could have escaped multiple eye witnesses, cctv and dashcam in a residential area. In my opinion, more likely he has entered into a building/ outhouse or water/ shrubbery in the area via someones garden or an alley. I can’t stop thinking about him and his mum :(
