Parts of the text:

Platform shoes and knee-high acrylic socks were the rage. Nightclubs, loud music, gin fizzes, piña coladas, loud clothes, and dancing all night long--yep, those were the days. Those were the disco days.

I may have died earlier than 1980, possibly during the disco rage in the mid-1970s. They don’t know for certain. Here comes the hardest part--they don’t know my name.

My profile data says I could have been anywhere from 15 to 18 years old, possibly up to 30 years old. I stood 5 feet tall, but possibly up to 5 feet and 3 inches. I might have weighed 100 pounds, but possibly up to 120 pounds. I was wearing brown platform sandals, knee-high acrylic socks, and a long sleeved grey-and-red nylon laced top.

The stats are at least confusing.......

Can You Identify Me was closed down after the owner Rebel passed away unexpectedly. I'm surprised to see the blog still up because their main site has been offline for a year

Circumstances of Disappearance
Rosemary Buck was last seen hitchhiking near the corner of Sixth North Street and Wolf Street on August 11, 1973 at approximately 12:00 P.M.

She is the mother of a son who was 2 1/2 years old at the time. She had an apartment on Wolf Street, on Syracuse's North Side.
She had been in a mental hospital and struggled, with alcohol, a bad marriage, and was getting on and off public assistance.

Rosemary frequented the former Yellow Balloon Bar on Thompson Road, near Erie Boulevard East. She often traveled to attend rock concerts.
She told friends she was eventually going to Boston, MA., to meet with an unknown male friend.

Rosemary Buck has been mentioned previously but I don't think she was submitted or ruled out.

I hadn't heard about the owner dying. That's too bad. I had wondered what happened.

Both Barbara and AHJD have DNA available, so this should be a rule out by default, right?

I don't believe the Sandals on the UID were true Platforms. They seem more like Wedgies or Wedges to me. True platforms have the thick heel in the front as well as the back of the sandal.
I had a pair similar to the ones on the UID in 1975 or 1976 . They were a handmedown pair from my neighbor ha! I wonder if her sandals had a name or any info stamped on them.
