GUILTY NJ - Brendan Creato, 3, found dead in Cooper River Park, 13 Oct 2015

That's another good article by the phillyvoice. Wonder what time the argument occurred. No doubt those reporters will keep knocking on the tenant's door!

Also wonder if there is anyone out there who had a key to the apartment, knew Brendan slept on the couch, and the child would go willingly with them in the middle of the night? Still doesn't explain the inconclusive autopsy, but maybe LE is deliberately hiding that info. (Thanks to an earlier post by Molly for these ideas I'm having now.).

Maybe DJ has nothing to do with this. Maybe he's doing his own investigation of the woods, staring and not speaking, because he's dumbfounded and shell-shocked.

I want to know if his teen girlfriend was sleeping over that night.

not sure if this was posted, but re-posting...

seriously??? am I alone in thinking this case is completely (un-sleuth-ably) obvious?

Such a strange case. But if it is true, what LE said, that the boy was placed there...and there was no forced entry, and there was an argument out in the street outside the apartment that night....and the girlfriend is sure she is possibly going to be be swept up into a homicide case....:waitasec:

What is your theory?

I am absolutely befuddled - going back and forth from: 1. Brendan died from accidental OD of Tylenol PM or Benedryl children's purple chewables, given so he'd go to sleep. (But then why not call 911 in hysterical state and report it?) 2. Or, deliberate action by someone with apt key. (But then why no cause of death?) (What would be the motive?)

Yes, that article confuses the heck out of me too. There seem to be a lot of "suspect" looking people being reported about, and I can't decide who this could be. And it obviously could be someone not even being reported about.

This poor little boy deserves to have justice.

I do find it odd that the local news articles keep mentioning the problems people had with the two businesses, Dream Houses and Creato Windows, gpa was associated with. But he appears to be just an employee, not the owner. DJ and young gf seemed to only have minor jobs at Creato Windows. So I don't get why the businesses keep on getting mentioned.

How odd is it that LE still hasn't released an estimated time of death. I think they are deliberately holding back a suspected cause of death, and time, despite saying the autopsy was inconclusive.

Why did they say the autopsy was still pending when they have received toxicology back? Isn't that the end of the autopsy?

Monday's reports cited information provided by Richard Fuschino, a Philadelphia lawyer representing the boy's father, David (DJ) Creato Jr. of Westmont. Fuschino could not be reached for comment.

"We are continuing to conduct an exhaustive investigation," Andy McNeil, a spokesman for the prosecutor's office, said in an email Monday.

"We have no further comment at this time," McNeil said. "We will contact reporters when we have more information to share."

Maybe initial toxicology reports came back negative, but they are waiting for more sensitive tests to come back? I remember them saying it can take up to a month---or more to get results back.

I mean, come on....a 3 year old just doesn't lay down and die of *nothing*.

Right. I would also expect the police to release information regarding the toxicology so maybe they are waiting on more results.

Neighbors: Police seek info on baby carriage found behind house near Creato home
Lawyer for boy's father says prosecutor owes some answers to concerned community

After discovering an abandoned baby carriage in the backyard of a vacant property late last week, Haddon Township police canvassed the neighborhood just blocks from where toddler Brendan Creato lived. And not far from where he was found dead.
Police were seeking information from residents to determine how and when the carriage made its way into the secluded backyard at 57 Strawbridge Ave., numerous neighbors told PhillyVoice, asking to speak anonymously.

They should get cadaver dogs near that stroller/carriage.

This is really making me sadder and sadder.....

I just hope Brendan didn't have any pain and was not aware when he passed. That poor beautiful baby boy. :(
