I just wanted to add, after reviewing the NamUs link, and the description after investigation. It sounds different. It's saying the NJ police interaction happened around 5:21am now - that someone called in for "suspicious person."

What could this even possibly mean?

Is the family organizing any physical searches or seeking specific info about something like a second vehicle, second person, distinctive possession, etc.?It seems curious retain a PI without pushing for searches, news coverage, vigils, etc.

On 03/05/2022 the above female was reported missing from her residence in Philadelphia after she did not return home after asking her mother to borrow her vehicle on 03/03/22. Through investigation it was discovered that the female was stopped by the New Jersey State Police in Folsom NJ at aprx 5:21AM 0n 03/04/22 by the vehicle after receiving a call for a suspicious person. After a brief interaction with the officers she was transported to a nearby WAWA convenience store located at 301 E. Black Horse Pike in Williamstown NJ. The complainant has not been seen or heard from since.

The Cambodian Association Of Greater Philadelphia is aware Destiny is missing. A relative posted to their FB. Hopefully they've got together to help search.

Where has Destiny gone? She is from SW Philly so I'd believe she is street wise. Absolutely no shade to Williamstown, but I'm totally lost over there. Could it have been the case for Destiny?

I haven’t seen anything about the car, other than it was left in the road. Car trouble or ??? Where’s the car now? Was her wallet/phone is the car?

Crazy that there’s no info. What was she doing between leaving home in Philly on the 3rd and “interacting” with LE on the 4th in SJ?

I thought it was her own car she was driving.
I missed seeing that fact earlier.
Where could she be?

IIRC the car was left in a strip mall parking lot after "car troubles." I am really confused why NJSP dropped her off at the Wawa. That's not normal procedure. And why isn't NJSP providing more info on that "incident"?

Perhaps she told her mother she was visiting a friend (in Philly) but was actually doing something in SJ that she didn’t want her mother to know about. Maybe she realized her mother would learn she lied when the car broke down and ran off in a panic? JMO, and there’s nothing I’ve seen to suggest family discord.

Some of us tried to get NBC Phila to cover the case but they wouldn't dare touch it. The family is clearly hurt by this. Also, some communities do not have resources or lots of knowledge on what the right move to make is.

I wish we knew who provided that info too. A lot of the information given from the start has changed once reading the NamUs info.

I agree, whether it was due to "car trouble" or someone called about suspicious person. The police just leaving her somewhere is odd.

No, they covered everybody else's. Maybe lack of details, or her disappearance in NJ or out of honesty, because she doesn't fit the image of who they want to cover. It is not fair, she deserves at least 3 minutes or something to be discussed on TV where many people STILL watch the news on tv, it's upsetting.

I have seen her photo posted again on IG nogunzone to inform everyone the family is still looking. Many people follow that account, so I hope people are keeping an eye and ear out for her.

Meanwhile all the NJ newspapers are talking about the marijuana sales. Who cares about poor Destiny. Grrrr.... makes me angry.

I agree. I don't understand how someone can just disappear, and there isn't anything police can do from both states, where there are functional traffic cams, etc.

They need to search the lake and woods! If not I would not be surprised if she is a victim of sex trafficking. Either someone has her or unfortunately she is buried somewhere in that area. They need to get off their asses and check all that like they did with Gabby Petito last summer

That area is probably covered by State police. There is NO excuse why LE isn't doing more here.

at this point, nothing good can come out of this, and LE are just okay with this.
