Yes very true unless she was going to get high somewhere at someone’s house not to speculate or even put that idea out there but it could make sense.

Is that area known for high drug use or trafficking?
No one has mentioned anything about that area.

I can’t imagine what she was doing in that part of Jersey. My guess would be she went to Atlantic City, slept in her car, and had car trouble when she was coming back.

I would search the area where she was last seen. It’s very wooded with lakes. Has there been any searches?

No, police didn't authorize a searching saying there's no indication she left on foot or by car.

It’s so odd that there’s just nothing. I do see several people on FB asking people to look for her but that’s it. No further info, no coverage, no searches. No “may be in need of medical assistance.” No “known to frequent neighborhood X.” Nothing on the whereabouts of her wallet, phone pings, and bank activity.

I did see the request for privacy; that strikes me mostly as a safeguard against scams, trolls, & psychics. But it could be the stress of her car troubles or interaction with LE triggered some kind of reaction and the family (reasonably) doesn’t want to disclose potentially stigmatizing health info or scare her.

I’m not familiar with that area but it seems rural. Could she have been hit by a car? Maybe not that morning, but later?

JMO.

I'm sorry but she didn't spontaneously combust so where do they think she is n how did she get there??
I agreed with this right away, because I've followed many cases where people like Brandon Lawson went missing and abandoned his car, he had a search right away. They didn't know where or how he left either but that man received a search. It's just proper procedure. I think the NJSP didn't want to fund it.

I believe if she was hit by a car, it would definitely made news and the body or victim would be identified. I saw some families did check or ask about any identifying features of the victim when a Jane Doe was found in Philly or NJ. Some people are on their own asking other people who may know information. I don't know if NJ Police is working on this and even going to release any updates, or if Philly PD will?
The family asking for privacy could be that people are suggesting many different ways to search, or asking too many questions as they may be overwhelmed right now. People do mention psychics in many missing persons cases, but I know not all families will take that route. The family could be asking for privacy because they also have to worry about their trust, since many people are sharing the case. Anyone could be involved.

Its rural. Not I can't see a person for miles rural, but more like the Wawa is the hottest most exciting thing in town rural. And people in these towns are pretty nosy, usually up in each others' business. So if she was hit by a car I suspect she'd be found by now. Unfortunately I don't think she's near the road, or near people. There's a lot of woods and fields down there. It may be a while before she's found, if ever.

Who reported her missing? Also, is either LE or the family aware of who the friend is she was supposedly visiting?

I think the article said, she was meeting a friend but never made it. So, I'm guessing the friend must've given police statement that she never made it to meet them as planned. Therefore, them finding out she was last spotted in Folsom on Sunoco and Wawa's surveillance.
