Facebook would definitely be able to tell them the details of the IP address it was posted from and if it was scheduled etc.

It wasn't Facebook, I'm not sure how cooperative Tumblr is with LE, either.

Oh Tumblr? How'd I miss that. I use Tumblr a LOT. Scheduling and queuing posts is the norm on Tumblr. Tumblr is owned by Yahoo.

Unfortunately that was almost definitely a scheduled post. I use tumblr too and it's very common to come across a post, especially one that is most relevant at a particular time of year, and schedule it to post on the relevant date. It's clear she did that for both Christmas and New Years.

It looks like that was a scheduled post. For example, I input my families birth dates and set it to post a birthday message for them on a certain day and time.

I thought I read that the train staiton cams were checked and found no signs of Sarah.
That was mentioned in the comments on the Find Sarah FB page by the page administrator account (which is Sarah's family, I believe). I trust that that is a true statement, but obviously, I have no way to know for sure.

Been reading this thread on Sarah and thinking...for whatever reason it seemed she needed the car to disappear without a trace. Perhaps she did meet up with someone on or near that Bridge vs someone coming to her home where it was known that neighbors had cameras.
She had planned to leave and maybe happenings at Thanksgiving put her plans into action sooner. Moo

That's not how the website works, she would have had to of posted it herself.

How does Tumblr work? It looks underneath the Cmas and NY posts that someone else did them, by the monikers posted in both places. Can someone provide a brief tutorial of how that works that she would have had to post it herself?

I just searched "Sarah Stern" and Tumblr and this different account comes up, that is almost certainly Sarah. What is striking to me is the #stillalive hashtag here. I can't tell when this was posted? The link to the blog indicates the blog has been removed. The link to the portfolio indicates malware and my corporate laptop won't allow me to go farther. But if you look at these two links, I am a bit mystified. Please look at these:

Specific post I refer to here: http://worstwizard.tumblr.com/post/153184737323

The "still alive" is just saying that she's still active on tumblr. Also, I don't think this is the same Sarah Stern. I pulled up a cache of the blog and it belonged to a Sarah Stern from Savannah, Georgia.

Oh, OK. The different posts have lots of different hash tags. I didn't understand that. Sorry. Thanks~ Tumblr idiot here.

Someone originally made the post on tumblr and other people reblog it - which posts it to their own blogs. You can then reblog it from anyone else who has reblogged the post. The usernames under the blog posts indicate who originally made the post and who Sarah reblogged it from. Ultimately she is the person who chose to post it to her blog, but she didn't create the content of the post.

I haven't personally hear of any more searches scheduled for volunteers but I could be wrong

It's been a few days since this thread was bumped.
I just hope that her family gets the answers they deserve soon. Let's hope she's returned home safe very soon.

2 girls both the same age missing with their cars left on the same highway near or on a bridge over a river in the same state 30 miles apart is sending my hinky meter crazy.
