JMO but where I work, missing a day unplanned isn't cause for firing someone. However, multiple occurrences over a few months could. If he had all these assault charges over the last few months, that would make sense on why he was let go. Once, okay, but this happening multiple times... They could just tell you don't bother coming back. And that's probably before they knew his girlfriend was missing. Very suspicious.
He certainly is no shrinking violet when it comes to assaulting women, I would be surprised if he didn't behave in a similar fashion, at least verbally, in the workplace. He seems like a very angry person with a hair trigger temper, wondering if he is a user of anabolic steroids.

Solid summary of what is known in this case:

Freehold missing woman: Family search enters second day

Parze's disappearance
Parze was last seen about 10 p.m. Oct. 30 after she returned home from a visit to a psychic medium in New Brunswick, according to her father.

Stephanie Parze was last seen the night of Oct. 30 after returning from a night out in New Brunswick, according to family. The next day she never showed up to her nanny job and when her family went to check for her, they found her car and cellphone at her Freehold Township home, but not her.

The night before she disappeared, Ozbilgen, 29, sent her 10 unanswered messages in nine minutes, including ending the exchange with an expletive-laden message, prosecutors said earlier this week.

Parze had filed a simple assault domestic violence complaint against Ozbilgen on Sept. 23, prosecutors said, adding that he had three domestic violence allegations complaints lodged against him by three different women, as well as a restraining order filed against him from a previous relationship in New York.

Parze's parents have said they only met Ozbilgen in passing a couple of times. When asked if she thought Ozbilgen had anything to do with her disappearance, Sharlene Parze said, "no comment."

Missing Monmouth County women: Search for Stephanie Parze, Jacqueline Terrulli continues

The disclosures were revealed in a detention hearing Tuesday, where Ozbilgen was charged with one count of child *advertiser censored*, in an unrelated matter. He was released from jail on that charge.

Parze has been described by friends and family as a tough and caring artist. The family has been distributing missing person flyers throughout the region.

The Prosecutor’s Office has said that Parze’s disappearance is an “isolated incident” and that there is no danger to the general public.

Family friend David Mound started a campaign Nov. 4 to support the Parze family during the search. The campaign had raised more than $11,000 as of Thursday.

Anyone with any information, or anyone who has had contact with Parze, is urged to contact Detective Shawn Murphy of the Prosecutor’s Office at 732-431-7160, ext. 7032, or Detective Daniel Valentine of Freehold Township police at 732-462-7908

Staten Island search: 200 people search Staten Island marshland for Stephanie Parze

In addition to the family-organized search, law enforcement officials have twice searched the marshlands of Long Pond Park in Staten Island. Authorities also searched the Freehold Township home of John D. Ozbilgen, Parze's on-again-off-again boyfriend, whom authorities have said is a "person of interest" in her disappearance.

Ozbilgen previously lived and worked in Staten Island.

Most recent search by Family and Friends - Nov. 20 and 21st, 2019:

More than 200 people turned out on Wednesday to help search Michael J. Tighe Park, her father said. Strangers, family members and friends all showed up from places as far as New York and Florida to help in the search.

Edward Parze, who organized the search, said Wednesday, “You just got to stay positive and keep ourselves upbeat."

Of the 200 original volunteers, 102 are expected to stay on to help search Thursday, Edward Parze said, with more helping behind the scenes. They split into groups before heading off to search a swampy area about 150 yards from Stephanie Parze's house.

Police Return To Staten Island Woods Searching For Missing New Jersey Woman Stephanie Parze

Quotes from article:

The Parze family is urging police, the media, and their community to share Stephanie’s photo and description with as many people as possible – so it can reach someone who may have answers.

“Everybody just help. Get the word out. Please find out. She’s only 4-11. She weighs 100 to 115 pounds. [BBM]

I just want her home,” Sharlene Parze, the missing woman’s mother told CBS2 earlier this month.

Thanks. When I looked again , it was fine. Before, I could read the whole thing but her face was blurred out. Maybe a glitch? Weird.

Praying they find her soon.
@TDoc72, do you have a link to a missing poster that can be linked here? Sometimes people find WS via google search before they find a page on social media. Also, do you know if the Family has an official Facebook Page set up? That page can be linked here on WS as well.

I'm wondering if there simply isn't any forensics in either home or the car. He could have abducted her when she returned home. Took her to the woods alive and then........
According to what I have read, her phone was found in her home and there were no signs of a struggle.

Did her assailant knock on the door and somehow convince her to let him inside?

or

was he was already hiding inside her house when she got home and he surprised her?

or?

https://www.negotiations.ninja/blog/body-language-series-eye-blinking/

Fast Blinking – Eye blinking tends to increase as stress increases. This makes sense, because as we’ve learned, blinking is a protection mechanism and if the body is stressed, then the eyes respond. BE CAUTIOUS. Just because someone is blinking fast doesn’t mean they are lying. It means it is more probable that they are lying. In order to know whether they are lying, you’ll need to test your observation by forcing them into a situation where they have to lie and then watching the eye movement to know if it matches the situation where you observed rapid eye blinking. Additionally, observe the other body language cues that the other party is displaying. Have they turned their heads? Are they averting their vision? Are they squirming in their chair? Has their posture slumped? I think it’s important to note now that no body language signal should be viewed in isolation. You MUST observe the entire body to make a more accurate reading of the message that’s being communicated. This takes practice and a lot of role playing to get better at.

And since she obviously dated him, it would not be unusual to find evidence of her in his vehicle or at her home. I thought the same as you. Not sure if maybe he knocked her out maybe, or drugged her to get her out of her house noiselessly and unnoticed by any neighbors. JMO

"Volunteers dressed in warm jackets and carrying walking sticks stepped into a thicket of barren trees a short distance from the Freehold Township home of Stephanie Parze, the 25-year-old woman missing for more than three weeks as the second day of a community search got underway Thursday morning.

Her father, Edward Parze, encouraged the more than 100 volunteers to be cautious and not to get lost.

“Don’t start wandering out there,” Edward Parze said at the staging area at the Abundant Life Church of God on Colts Neck road. “We know everyone wants to help, but if you have bad legs or anything like that, this is not the part of the search we need you to do."

Family’s search for missing 25-year-old Stephanie Parze stretches into 2nd day
