I was reading from that one link and there is a "story" from Tera's twin brother who says she was a loving mother and wife......how many children did she have, anyone know?

Anyone know if the defendant is out on bail? I wouldn't put it past him to flee the country if things start looking bad for him in this trail.

Wonder if the life insurance paid out to Levi? Hope it is being held until after the verdict and maybe Tera's kids will get it instead.

I thought I read a couple of kids. Weren't the kids over at his father's house that night?

On one of those linkgs it mentioned the various affairs Levi Chavez had and some (maybe all) of them were other female LE. He got married to one of these women. I couldn't hear the woman's name in this testimony. I was hoping someone here may have caught it. Not the officer taking the photos another woman that came onto the scene later.

No way! Chavez was messing around with another officer that also came to investigate the murder scene? Possibly his current wife? Wow. Wonder if she sleeps with one eye open.

Oh yeah, he's a prize. I would not give him a second look, EVER. Not my type.

From the timeline:
April 2011 - Booked and released
May 2012 violated release
June 2012 Sent back to jail - bonded out

So he must be still bonded out.....free to roam and remarry!

Look on post #98! Yes the woman he was fooling around with and who is now his wife was there at the crime scene that night.

Wow, thanks Thundar! That article reads like a regular Peyton Place [for those of you old enough to know what that is!]. They were both having affairs, and one of HIS girlfriends was a customer of Tera's, a hair stylist! Talk about cajones!
And Chavez's current wife, Heather, who was the cop at the crime scene, is STILL a cop on the force. I will refrain from commenting on her lack of rational judgement.

Here is the pdf file of the lawsuit brought forth by the estate of Tera Chavez against Levi Chavez......it is interesting. Very very interesting! Poor Tera!

14. Defendant Levi Chavez met the Cordovas’ only daughter when she was in
high school. Tera Andrea Cordova became pregnant and gave birth to a
daughter in 1998 when she was sixteen years old.

15. Defendant Levi Chavez and Tera Cordova were married in February, 2000,
and the couple had their second child in October, 2001.

Let's see how badly that link blows the margins..... I might need to take the link out!

And I bet you that, like Staci Peterson, she believes in Levi's innocence.... until she herself goes missing...

BBM
Levi Chavez gets Tera PG when she was only 16 years old? That's statutory rape here in Indiana. Levi is a piece of work.

I was wondering why the prosecutor seemed to drive home this point; Jones says he did not have to push magazine release mechanism in order to get the magazine out of the gun

During the lunch break I have been reading the civil suit and I found this article from the suit

From the Civil Suit:

49. Defendant Levi Chavez received inadequate training by the City of Albuquerque regarding safe storage of his APD handgun in his home. Defendant Levi Chavez did not receive trigger guards or locks from the City of Albuquerque to put on the APD handgun for storage in his home in the event that the gun was left unattended in unlocked, open furniture, (as it in fact routinely was). Upon information and belief, APD does not hand out trigger guards and locks for APD gun storage in homes with small children, even though they are free, readily available, and model police procedures recommend it.

So IMHO the prosecutor is bringing in pieces of the civil suit in. Wow what a piece of work this LC is. I pray that the Prosecutor ( I need to learn his name) can get the picture painted here in the criminal court as it was painted in the civil court. What a read.

If the jury finds him not guilty I pray for HC safety.

After reading the pdf file of the Tera Chavez lawsuit I am just in awe that this has come about to be a murder trial at all. I feel so sorry for Tera's family! The blue line seems to have been in all out protective mode for years in this case.......

Wonder what he did to violate bail?

My goodness you are sadly so right. Wow what a tragedy!!! I can not imagine how they can keep it together right now with the anticipation and realization of the criminal trial finally happening and how it is all going to go down. I can barely stand it and before yesterday I never heard of this case. Unreal.:please:
