Not smart just calculating in what he did and heartless enough to leave his beloved wife's body out in the open and hope it isnt found for a while, giving it enough time to decompose and make finding out cod and anything else more difficult for detectives!

exactly and besides who knows how long he was hatching this plan. could have been for weeks, in which case he had enough time to think at least a few things through. He needed this body to be found eventually for insurance purposes.
Karo: Smart people don't kill their wife and leave their children motherless and fatherless.<Mod Snip>..

I'm not sure that it has been established that she did in fact walk each morning. GBC indicated that she did, but apparently she hated sport - I think that was mentioned at her funeral.

If I was going to a conference, where my husbands mistress would also be, I'd definitely NOT be going for a walk, I'd be at home making sure I looked a million $$ for the confrontation with the mistress.

Yep, he gave the impression she didnt comes back from her walk.

Close friends thought that odd because apparently, other than being active for her children, she was more a let me relax with glass of chardy, type of mum. Not into physical exertion, unless it was to do with the kids..

There is no evidence, fact or rumour that I know of on this thread which indicates that Allison saw a Psychiatrist. That is, in my opinion, an attempt to influence. It cleverly creates doubt. Gotcha!

Given the numerous hypothetical scenarios posted by many people over umpteen threads, you suggest that THIS is an attempt to influence? Good grief..!

No gotcha there at all. Just playing the devil's advocate, as was suggested I do last night.

There have been, actually, rumours locally that she had seen a psychiatrist. I have treated them as just that - rumours. But was just putting out there an alternative possibility for GBC Googling it.

I don't think he was even a little bit smart, however, I think there was a large amount of deceit going on for a long time.

He must be a little bit smart, or the police wold have more than circumstantial evidence, lol

Yeah, plenty of time to think about being clever when it's premeditated :)

He is definitely a little bit of something.....But I best not use those sort of words on here.....because yes, it involves his fart zone.

No idea on what the COD might be however I'd bet London to a brick that the reason why NBC won't talk to the police re the face time call is because of the likelihood that he will drop himself right in it.

If the face time call was completely innocent and explainable then they would have done so, despite their right not to answer questions.

Refusal to answer questions isn't an indicator of guilt but a reasonable person would provide any information that would get them off the hook IMO.

If you didn't do it, you'd co-operate so the police could clear you and then get on with finding out who did before it happens to someone else or before the trail goes cold.

It's hellishly frustrating not knowing what the COD was, understanding there were no EXTERNAL injuries (apart from a broken tooth) and the amount of 'blood'? that has been highlighted from the luminol in the latest photographs.

My issues/questions/points are:

1) Why did they release ABC's body so quickly if they couldn't determine a COD?

Way back when, in earlier threads, there were 'rumours' that the COD was immediately identifiable/known by the police so that's why the body was released so quickly.

2) If there were no EXTERNAL injuries (very SPECIFICALLY worded I believe) evidenced how could there be so much blood?

3) Are those huge luminesced dripping stains actually where he tried to clean away the small smear/s of blood ie small bit of blood but huge amounts of water/cleaning fluids caused all that big mess and lots of dripping? Like he threw a bucket of water over the
'blood stains' and it's all mixed up together?

4) I can't help feeling that IMO she was asphyxiated - a pillow/something put over her face.
I've read enough Patricia Cornwell/Kay Scarpetta novels(!!) to know that while homicidal asphyxiation can be very difficult to prove - ie no/few EXTERNAL injuries - INTERNAL injuries like bloodshot eyes (or is that considered 'EXTERNAL'?), frothy blood in the nose, mouth, lungs etc are some of the symptoms that can occur with this type of violence.

Which may account for the small amount/s smear of blood found?

But why wouldn't this come up in the forensic pathology results somehow?

IMO asphyxiation seems more likely than poisoning? More in 'character' for him and a 'simpler solution' than poisoning for him? (Unless of course in the next 'wave' of QPS evidence they show us he googled 'poisons that will not show up in forensic pathology tests' off Wikipedia?!)

5) Also, the defensive scratches he carried seem more in keeping with someone fighting for their life while being asphyxiated rather than the result of poison?

I keep stating poison because my lack of medical knowledge (Patricia Cornwell books aside!) is just something to counter my asphyxiation opinion. I have nothing else/no alternatives to offer!

(I also just read an interesting article on a forensic pathology site which I can provide a link to if anyone is interested re asphyxiation.)

Anyway, as most of us know, the pieces just do not fit together at the moment (as the Defence claimed) but, so far, the QPS do not seem to have put a foot wrong so I assume they would not show these luminol tests unless they, ultimately, helped the Prosecution case, correct?

And that all will be made clearer and clearer by QPS as time progresses and as the Courts require. I can't wait...

I am interested in this link. Can you please post. Thanks

I thought that she was a regular morning walker, even though she didn't necessarily like it. If Allison was even a semi-regular walker, you'd think that her husband would not worry until after her usual return home time.

6.20 - 6.40 doesn't seem to be what would normally be regarded as late for returning from a morning walk. If she left home at 530am(!!!) and walked for an hour, she would be home at 6.30am.

An extra 10 mins shouldn't ring alarm bells. She could have stopped to chat &/or popped into the corner shop.

If I was seriously concerned about a loved one in this situation, I would hop in the car immediately and drive around all likely walking routes. I would do this before ringing 000. Afterall, wouldn't you feel silly if your loved one arrived at the same time as the police. If everyone who's partner was a "little bit late" returning home called 000, we would need x500 the number of police that we have.

Welcome Thebuttlerdidntdoit, and thanks for your useful post.

I think there were a couple of different posters on here way back who mentioned someone seeing 'something' going on up the driveway that night, but not sure if both posters were referring to the same person or not.

One mentioned the 4 car doors being opened, and another mentioned the sighting of 'something' being put into the car. One is quoted as follows, but it's actually the Prado that's mentioned, not the Captiva (The captiva being the car that police believe Allison's blood was found in)

"Hi everyone, last night I had dinner with a friend who I only see once a year. She told me one of her good friends spoke to Allison B-C at the school on the Thursday 19th April, during the cross country. That night she drove past the B-C house and looked up the driveway and saw 2 people putting something into the back of the white Prado. She did wonder what they were doing at 11 pm at night. When she heard the reports on the Friday morning of Allison going missing she contacted the police straight away. I know this is second-hand info but I was pretty shocked! Wonder if it is true?
Also spoke to the person who told me the lawyer was there on the Friday morning when the police arrived, asked him how the lawyer would get there from the gold coast as such a long way. Turns out it was a local lawyer, a friend of GB-C, the gold coast lawyer was hired later in the day."

Does anyone else here remember the other posts re the 4 car doors being open, or who the poster was? I have tried searching, but my pc is playing up something shocking this morning, so am having trouble.

I put this question out there a couple of days ago. WAS Allison at the cross country on the Thursday?

According to the above she was as someone apparently spoke to her during the cross country.

I think it was Caseclosed sorry can't find the reply who answered and said she was not at the cross country only in the school pick up line in the afternoon.

Where was OW staying on that Thursday night as it seems she was in Brisbane and had also attended the cross country as someone else saw her there apparently.

I wonder if Allison was not at the cross country why that was as it seems she would attend most of the girls school stuff.

OW said she last spoke to Allison on the Wednesday night.

Were they both Allison and OW at the cross country???

Im just really confused about this point as with most other aspects of the case?

Haha! I didn't even catch that! Good one.
Also, he's a Virgo.........enough said! Just joking, I'm married to a Virgo. They are usually very organised, highly strategic people. Don't know what happened with GBC!!??

Virgos tend to be hypochondriacs too, from what I've heard. Also neat and ordered.
