Even the tip of her nose and nostrils, when you look at the post-mortem photo. It just really looks so much like her, and seems very possible.

You would think they would have been compared?

Does Camilla have blue or light colored eyes? Her stats did not specify? It seems to be, when I look closely, but harder to tell when looking at black and white.

It is so hard to tell. If you look at the videos of her younger brother, his eyes are an unusual shade. In color photo of her as a school girl, I see light brown, or hazel, but I look again, and I'm not 100% sure. I replied to you in her thread. I think old film can have strange effects too....

I don't know how this works after death (the color) but my late husband had brown eyes that would turn hazel when he got angry or upset. I've heard that is not uncommon.

To be honest, I don't know, really.. I have very ambivalent thoughts about Jennifer and Camilla; the rational part of me says their striking similarity is just a coincidence, and that their discrepancies rules them out of being each other. Like, a tattoo removal must've left some scars, right? I find it hard to believe that the coroner would miss that. And Camilla's eyes look light brown to me (but her brother's eyes would match those light blue ones of Jennifer, but then again, I come from a family where almost everyone had different eye colours..).

But then there's all those other clues that kinda fits. Jennifer is estimated about the right age as Camilla would be in 1995; their dental information and facial features; Camilla might have left by her own accord and who knows what happened between 1986 and 1995? We have theorised in this thread that Jennifer could be a victim of human trafficking, so who knows what kind of people Camilla might've encountered in those years?

As I said, I have very ambivalent thoughts about Jennifer and Camilla, but I like reading your thoughts about them, all the pros and cons. Keep it up!

I hope you don’t mind, but I wrote an email to the journalist who worked on this case for the news station TV2 with a link to this and to Jennifer Fergates WS thread.
I would think these two cases would have been compared in Skandinavia since there’s not many cases of missing young females and jane does.

I haven’t heard or read anything about the cases being connected so far in danish/Norwegian media. Or any new development in any of the cases.
I will update if I do. However I don’t believe in a connection, even though I too found them striking resembling.

I found this doing a quick search tattoo removal. I do not know much about tattoos, or if technology has changed since 1995, but it seems *possible* at least, that a person going to great lengths to conceal their identity (a spy? something else?) would have access to the best technique. It has been around since the late '60s.

Few other things to add:

Location on her registration card Verlaine, very small town, is just few km away from place where two 8 year old girls were kidnapped from, 3 weeks after Jane Doe death. Year later Dutroux was convicted after kidnapping, torturing and sexually abusing six young girls. Four of the girls were killed. He claimed to work for organized pedofile ring with gov and higher up people. (Everyone in Europe knows Dutroux case).

Oslo Plaza was 5 star hotel. She checked in in the very busy evening at 10.40pm when guests from 3 last flights of the day arrived - SAS, KLM and British Airways.

The view from the 28th floor of the Oslo Plaza was fantastic. Jennifer Fergate was given Room 2805, on the side on the hotel facing the city. In the 1990s the top six floors were called "The Tower". The best rooms in the house were there.

On the day she checked in, May 31, police officers were on the strike. And surprisingly also Oslo passport border control at their airport... She has called on the day to change her reservation booking from later date to that same day.

I'd say she was too sloopy to be a spy and this over a guy in some form. IE Lost family member, lost love etc.. Hence the mens diving watch and cheap mens cologne

I do believe the gun claimed as stolen but regardless this specific firearm pretty standard issue throughout the British commonwealth.

She didn't seem to have a plan, she didn't keep her facts straight, she didn't even keep her accent straight so i highly doubt this was a spy

I listened to the Trace Evidence Podcast episode of this.

A few things really stood out to me regarding two people in the room, which leads me to believe two women where sharing it and/or an identity:

The calls were made by two different languages and accents. Yes, bilingual people can speak very well in two different languages, but it made me think maybe two different women called.

The eyewitness accounts according to TE made it sound very conflicting. Two people saw her at two different times and places that would be impossible. This lead me to believe that two women that looked a lot alike where with each other.

The name Lois was referred to as masculine by TE, like Luis (spelled different but pronounced the same as) Gonzales. however, I think of Lois like the Lois and Clark, or Family Guy Lois.

There was evidence that a shower had been taken very recently to Jennifer's death. To me, this is a strong indicator that a female may have committed the shooting and showered off shortly after.

The ID, makeup, cosmetics, and women's items that where missing at the crime scene could have all been taken by the other woman.

There are points I am forgetting, but these are a few of the reasons why I think there was two women in that room.

If it was two women, the big question would be why the women where meeting. Could they have been twins? Lovers? Maybe some kind of plot for fraud with forged ID?

I think she was a German or indeed Belgian high end escort. Her international and discreet demeanor (including fake name and address) and classy, but sexy clothing tell that to me.
She may have commited suicide (the test shot into the pillow indicates she was not entirely familiar with a gun) for whatever reasons or she may fallen victim to violence against sex workers. High end sex work does not protect from it.

As to why nobody is looking for her, well, she was an adult and may have been estranged from her family, especially if they knew she did escorting.
And then, from what I see or dont see (I am half German and left Germany only 6 years ago) is that there are very few missing person reports in Germany that are being published. Now in times of social media more, but 6 or even 10 years ago, no. Unless it happened to be published in a local newspaper or you bothered to check the website of the local police dept. But even there only a fraction is published and accessible to the public. Germany is not a paradise for sleuths...
Different attitude than the US, in Germany they keep things like that hidden from the public because they restrict access to it largely to "professionals", aka police. And German police still seems to hardly look beyond the borders and if, they still go mainly via Interpol. Which is a bit outdated in the IT age, but thats how it is.

I watched the Netflix Unsolved Mysteries episode on this. This case is very similar to the Mary Anderson, October 1996, Seattle, Washington case. Same era. Different deaths, both a possible espionage angle. It explains why no one has come forward for either woman in both cases.

I do indeed think she might be like an secret agent or a spy or something. Everything in this case is just weird. I don't believe in suicide, no blood or gunpowder on her hands. The way she holds the weapon and the position of her hands on her chest. No id, only a suitcase with bullets. And they said she might checked in with a Lois Fairgate. Who is he?
