Woman on CNN talking of trying to escape the concert and get to safety.

Asked one man if she and her friend could get in his truck, he said "no, go away". Went to Tropicana, where they refused to let any people in. Finally got someone to take them to the police station.

I just woke up to this. My lord, prayers to the families and friends of the dead and those 400+ injured. What makes someone so angry to do this? I'm heartbroken for our country.

Police believe they have located a person of interest, named as Marilou Danley, who they say is connected to Paddock.

Police said they were "roommates" in a retirement community.

What are the platforms found in the shooters room? Are they meaning something used to steady the weapon?

From a earlier report the 2 platforms were used to line the guns up and make it easier to switch weapons. jmo

Being a Vegas local I imagine he would go after the Casino he had problems with. From her profile she had been gambling for numerous years so it might just be he self destructed in debt and took out as many as he could with him
