Well, the presser was pretty pointless. Contradicted items that had been put out earlier; contradicted media reports from fairly reputable sources... Strange, to say the least.

THe "maybe" is what's killing me.......people generally know that they have been rejected. She must have known that when she packed up her life and left.

It is so difficult to fathom a motive behind horrific and evil acts.
Seems to me that this monster's lifelong "goal" or "dream" was to murder as many people as he possibly could in a short period of time. The fact that he purchased 33 firearms (mostly rifles) in 2016 looks to me as if he had decided to go ahead with his "plan" then. Who knows how long he has planned this horrific event?
For us, the average person has goals - sometimes long term to be able to retire somewhat comfortably and to be living nearby family members we love. This is my long time goal or "dream".
That is the opposite of what serial killers' goals are. We can't, in my opinion, think like that because we are not wired to think that way.
I've been reading quite a bit about research concerning frontal lobes appearing different in serial killers' brains than the average person.
If anyone is interested in reading this article - it is a good discussion not only about research of brains of serial killers but a talk about how to intervene, if there is a possibility, with younger people who are exhibiting signs of great violence.

Do you thnk it was a 2017? They got it in 2017 but is it new?
or he picked up all the chargers and that was the wrong one, my hubby has done that one time too many
I still wonder if SP wasn't in the beginning stages of something like Lew Body Dementia- some of his symptoms and
erratic behaviors would certainly fit.
One of first symptoms noticed by the caretaker (gf) is sleep problems, hallucinations, mood changes, acting out their dreams, behavioral changes.
this could be what MD witnessed when he was moaning and screaming in bed.
With LBD, depression is common. Physical, cognitive and behavioral changes occur and onset is rapid and acute.
Interestingly benzodiazepine is to be avoided as it can cause acute confusion, delusions and hallucinations.
Caretakers will also notice REM sleep disorder, with violent movements.
Rapid onset with rapid cognitive and physical decline in first few months.
Maybe SP knew something was going on within his brain and body. Anger and depression took over.
Would certainly explain the rapid mental decline.
If anyone wants to read more, this disease is fascinating.
If I were a gambler, this is where I'd put my money on a diagnosis.
I believe robin Williams was diagnosed upon autopsy of LBD.

Colleagues of Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Officer Charleston Hartfield hold candles during a vigil for Hartfield at Police Memorial Park on October 5, 2017.
That is interesting, and quite shocking how an illness can change someone's personality so drastically.
I hope they examine his brain during autopsy, if they do one.

I gave that information, not to argue with you about the legitimacy of news sources (which is OT and something I have no interest in doing), but rather so that people can be aware of the discounts available. I personally don't care what you choose to read, but knowing the options is important for some. And others may not realize the reason for pay walls. This is exactly how I found out I could afford a subscriber to the WP, when someone was kind enough to give me this information. Hopefully I have helped someone else who is struggling to access articles.I haven't run into any of those sites who have annoying amounts of ads that interferes with me reading any of the articles. There are plenty of trustworthy news sites online who offer the same information without having to subscribe or pay. So I have no need nor any desire to subscribe to the ones who may give Amazon Prime members discounts of which I am a member.
There is nothing written online by any news publishers that cant be found elsewhere. In fact at times I become aggravated at times at how so many supposedly MSM reputable news organizations do nothing but copy and paste AP news reports.
The very ones you have listed may be the very ones many others find untrustworthy. It is a matter of choice for the individual reader as it should be. So for now, I do not have any need to go through a pay wall in order to read what has been printed. I am what is called a news junkie and have never been shut out from finding the information I wanted to read and I have never had to resort to paying for it.
Should that time come, I will select the one, I feel is the most trustworthy among all of the rest. When an article is linked here, and is behind a pay wall, I simply search for the information elsewhere, and have no problems finding it. In fact many of the other sites can reveal even more detailed information than what was supposedly in the pay wall news site.
JMO though
I have never used Valium but I have used other drugs in this class and I thought the same thing, that it seemed like a very high dose. The valium someone mentioned. It was stated it was 10mg tablets of Valium. This is a high dose IMO. As a nurse, I only gave 10mg of Valium via an injection to a patient who had seizures. I've commonly seen it given in 2mg dosage. I've seen it given when someone has esophageal spasms, often seen with cancer patients, or after their cancer surgery. Even then, 5 mg was initially given, then lowered to 2mg.
It eases muscle spasms, as well anxiety. I just don't know why a doctor would prescribe 10mg dosage if smaller dosages hadn't been tried first....
Another odd thing about this case...among many others

-Maybe a dumb inquiry...
Is there any reason why brains that are donated to science/research would be turned away? I have no idea if they are or are not but I wish that these types were on the must or priority research list.
