Why should he do the interviews? he's just an employee?
If they wanted to interview him and the other sg, it should have happened after the first 24 hrs.

But, where did it originate?
For whom does that particular grail serve?
It does not serve him, far as we know it does not serve a full investigation of shooter, but its a nice little cul-de-sac for some party, perhaps the hotel, itself.

uNLESS he was a known acquaintance of the shooter, he has no role..
Why did the shooter decide to kill a lot of people?
Why did he do it at the MB?
what else is specific to the shooter?

If he bailed, and it wasn't a case of him being warned off by a third party, agents for his employers, lawyers, insurers etc etc..
Then, as you rightly, iMO stated last night, the most recent MB statement, that still managed to avoid mentioning a timeframe, especially a time frame for their call to police after having been alerted by JC and alerted again by sG2..

Agree. The people who need to be answering questions are the owners and managers of the hotel. Their responses to the news media in the last couple of days are a little off-putting. They behave as if they're in charge of the investigation. They're not.

Perhaps its time for a judge to issue some search warrants, collect all the electronic and other evidence and have it reviewed by an independent prosecutor. We already know who the killer is, but an impartial follow-up investigation would help the professionals understand better how this maniac was able to commit his crimes and how to prevent something similar from happening in the future.

Casino owners need to take a seat on the sidelines and answer the investigators questions. What's done is done and they can't change what happened.

Re JC- The Go Fund Me was set up Oct 3 by a co-worker. My guess is his insurance would not cover medical bills.
Some reports say he had to have bullet removed. he was called 'veteran employee', can't confirm length of employment. Or age.
Would MGM not step in and cover all medical? Reports saying he's no longer listed on security log as employee.
Guess he's on his own at this point. IMOO.

I have been trying to find out about LV and I keep getting similar responses from those I ask and its almost a uniform response- it goes like-they are used to running everything their own way, and authorities invariably 'overlook' their 'anomalies'.

I was on twitter earlier and I started searching for the shooter and I realised we have all been completely diverted from pursuing the alleged shooter..

The instant he walked onto the 32nd floor he unknowingly got caught up in a horrid event involving 58 deaths and 500 injuries, for a 25 year old that's a heavy burden, his life will never be the same. Everywhere, the questions. When did he radio in, why didn't he...?, how come...?, it's not adding up...., etc. Where's the mngt of the security team?

It's as if JC has become the focus of the massacre, rather than SG. Sheriffs Office on one side, MGM on the other all featuring him as the main character. Shock, trauma, PTSD and all the things other victims suffer must be huge. I hope he has good support and someone who has his best interests at heart is watching over him.

Jenny, I was online when that came in, it looked legit and it took a couple of hours to figure it out..
The girl that posted it had no idea it was fake. None of us did.

Let's not forget Sheriff Lombardo is an elected politician. We're about to start his re-election year, and I imagine this is very much on his mind.

He has also had a nutcase alt right bimbo who calls herself an investigative reporter knocking at door and disturbing his family, she went twice yesterday, she was doxxing him, stating make and model of his car and his address.
she did not gain access but she gained followers..
Then later she started a fundraising drive on her twitter feed to support her 'independant journalism'
She had nothing concrete but she could do a lot of harm to him.. climate thats in it, I'm not sure she stopped short of a crime.

There are also some extremely wealthy casino owners who control a lot of elected officials. They're obviously interested in protecting their financial interests and have an inordinate amount of power over politicians.

It explains why conspiracy theorists are trying to link the SG's labor union to nefarious activities related to the Las Vegas murders. Stephen Paddock killed those people, not the SG or the union. It may also be a tactic to deflect negative attention from the casino owners, who may have had a problem in not contacting LE earlier.

Personally, I don't really think it would have made much difference in SWAT being able to stop Paddock sooner. He did his horrible deed in a relatively short time frame. I don't know why they're deflecting attention to the poor SG. The bigger problem they'll have to deal with in lawsuits is Paddock's ability to move so many dangerous weapons undetected into the hotel. Throwing SG under the bus really isn't going to help their case. JMO, IANAL.

My reading of the question was that it was more to determine if he was just a casino employee acting in some "security" role, or actually a security guard by definition. The question was if the union was a casino worker's union. I don't see how you're reading conspiracy theory against unions into a question clarifying who the union represented.

There is, but not with respect to licensing requirements. In actuality, you need to have two permits to work as a security guard in a casino within Las Vegas. One is the state PI card that all security guards in NV have to have. The other is a card issued by LVMPD.
