“He was indebted to no one and in fact paid all his gambling debts off prior to the shooting,” the police report notes.

what's all that about, I wonder.. what did it mean to him, why was it important to him?
Was it a pride thing or something else entirely? Like a contempt for the world?

I’m inclined to say it was both, pride and contempt. “I owe no one and I funded my own arsenal. And even sent some $$ to my lady friend”

I lost the plot while reading about his checkins, for a few hours, up again, home again, another hotel again, home again, each time carrying all these heavy cases, loading them, unloading them, wheeling them in and out and up and down, lifts and service elevators etc etc etc...
i just knew I had never and probably will never see the likes of this again, no matter how long I live..
So, lost the plot entirely...

I don’t know how he kept track of just that part. That is loads of effort and tedious planning. Is it even possible for one person to keep up that focused momentum physically and mentally??

Not usually.
Why would one want to carry out these ritualised, repetitive robotic exercises?
And I think he could so easily have made a massive bomb and killed so many more..anywhere, anytime..
He wanted to do it this way..
It's very difficult to take it in.. this alleged human.. behaving like a machine..

A few of the internet searches:

Biggest Bear (?)
Open air concert venues
Biggest open air concert venues in USA

Honestly, to me Biggest Bear reads like perhaps a typo or auto correct or voice to text issue.
Biggest open air... Biggest Bear... they are very similar.
Far more similar than most of the crazy auto corrects I receive.

Just what jumped out at me immediately reading it.

Its like sci-fi but it’s real and that does make it difficult to take in.
Much like a methodical brainy weird-O scientist on an endless treadmill (Anthony Hopkins type movies).
He may have had success as a master architect in Singapore, or as a Choreographer Extraordinaire if his mind wasn’t dark and twisted...

Oooh smart thinking outside of the box. That probably never would have occurred to me.

I totally agree. If I hadn't taken the time to thoroughly sort out what he did each day -- piece by piece -- I wouldn't have been able to keep up.

He pretty much gambled all night, went back to his room in the early morning hours (likely to catch some zzz's), ate in the late afternoon or early evening, drove to Mesquite to run errands (the Walmart trip, wire transfers, the action bolt rifle purchase, maybe fit in some target practice here and there) and load up on more guns and ammo, returned to the MB and hauled up more luggage full of weapons before heading back down to the casino to gamble all night long. He also made a trip to The Ogden on a few of those days but doesn't appear to have stayed there for very long. (...and why did he need to reserve three units there?) I suspect he may have been using the rooms to split up and store all of his weaponry rather than keeping them all in one place -- which could explain why his visits were short and why he was seen hauling luggage up and down the elevator and then seen returning to the MB with a few more suitcases after every visit.

I thought the hard drive was missing from his computer? Now it has suddenly been found with child *advertiser censored*. This report is filled with so many inconsistencies from what was said earlier by Lombardo it makes my head spin. No other suspects, now another person of interest, he should make up his mind and stick to a story.

In comments to investigators detailed in the report, Danley painted Paddock as growing "distant" to her over the past year and said their relationship was no longer intimate. She also said she had noticed him behaving strangely during their stay at Mandalay Bay the month before the attack.
The report said she told investigators Paddock was constantly looking out the windows of the room, which overlooked the site where the Route 91 Harvest country music festival took place weeks later. She also told investigators he would move from window to window, as if studying the angles.

I think the child *advertiser censored* stuff was his brother

During all this activity do not forget the mystery trip to Phoenix -- he flew there and rented a car back

Sounds like he knew machine guns and bombs are not allowed on airplanes !!

Sounds a lot like a traveling salesman does it not??

Notice how they have never released any caliber stuff -- with multiple snipers - speculating- there would be different caliber

is pretty amazing alledelly from the 32 floor in the dark with a bunch of moving targets how many victims had ONE shot to the head/ chest - on moving people.

Feels more sniper eee to me - from a much lower angle

visualizing bullets raining down randomly the lack of multple bullets in more victims is pretty amazing.

People were running away from where they thought they were coming from -- why are there so many chest (vs back injuries?)

Good to see you CARIIS.........you may be proven right after all !!!

What tub? I think what you're seeing that looks like a tub is actually two chairs.
Ha, yeah that makes more sense. Used to hunt for empty pairs on campus if I needed a nap between classes.

So the hose and SCBA must have been prepped in the event of tear gas or particulates (like GSR?) discharging or some other air quality issue he would be potentially dealing with.

Speaks to meticulous prep work, and/or paranoia and/or germaphobia.

TIMELINE

September 9
Paddock made a room reservation for a Vista Suite ending in 235 but did not specify a specific floor

September 14
Marilou Danley traveled to the Philippines

September 17
Paddock checked into The Ogden in Las Vegas and booked through September 28 (which overlaps his reservation at the Mandalay Bay). He stayed in three different units and his stay coincided with the Life is Beautiful music festival (a festival similar to the Route 91 festival and held in an open-air venue from September 22 through September 24). While staying at The Ogden, he exhibited behavior similar to his time spent at Mandalay Bay prior to the shooting. He left the condominium complex for long periods of time, returned to Mesquite, NV, flew to Reno, NV, and traveled to Arizona. He was seen gambling at casinos on numerous occasions and observed moving numerous suitcases from his vehicle to the various units he rented.

September 20 - SP was internally assigned to room 33-235 at MB

September 21 - SP was internally changed to room 32-235 at MB

September 24 - SP was assigned to room 32-135 at MB (internal changes were made by an MB employee without SP’s knowledge)

September 25

@ 3:33 pm - SP checked into Room 32-135 under his name at MB and was scheduled to checkout on October 2; he also booked the connecting room (Room 32-134) for September 29 - October 2 at check-in

@ 4:03 pm THRU 4:56 pm - SP was seen eating at Mizuya Sushi inside MB; he then removed his car from the self-parking garage to valet parking and returned to the front desk with FIVE suitcases

@ 4:56 pm - a bellman escorted SP to Room 32-135 via the service elevators at SP's request (SP rolled one suitcase and the bellman placed the other four suitcases on a luggage cart)

@ 9:37 pm THRU 9:40 pm - SP retrieved his car from the valet and left the MB hotel

@ 11:00 pm - SP arrived in Mesquite, NV

September 26

WTF is up with those purchase items and WHAT'S with all the back and forth from Mesquite to The Ogden to Mandalay Bay? Could the FBI be investigating someone who was staying at The Ogden during this time period?

This was awesome TY!

You all know how sometimes when you try to find something again you cant remember the search terms again

Check out this stuff tho:

SLeuth around Paddock family and "Paradise Ranches"

check out Lombardo's changing who was in charge of this investigation -- bizarre stuff -- just doing an example but it was transferred from like mass shooting department investigations to the bike theft investigations dept!!

making a point I don't remember the depths!! The lady who was then in charge of this "investigation" has no clue into this stuff! There was political shenanigans with all this junk

if I can get to the stuff again I will link -- just wanted to get it out to you guys - it just crossed my mind!!

And finally explore Lombardos dept being under investigation by the FBI some really bad stuff in his department

The dude is a politician....

I am not so sure I buy some of wives notions

It is pretty hard to imagine a germaphobe touching public video games for hours night after night no?

how do they have all this video when everyone has stated all along that there were no cameras in any of the actual hallways??

So officials lying?

Do the spurts of bullets match the number of bullets in the magazines??

What is average reloading time

how long does it typically take for a machine gun to get so hot it jams

we have seen video of the rooms -- wth was this odd combo of different agencies that decided to play SWAT doing for 6 minutes before wanting to make sure someone with machine gun might be in an adjoining room ? My notion is clearing all the space in a room is priority

how long does it take to nicely place a bunch of bullets around some body head ?

It never made any sense at all that there were a bunch of nice shiney bullets around a dead persons head. What would account for that . Makes zero sense . The only way for bullets to end up on top of pool of blood is if they are placed there AFTER the blood was already there

6 minutes unexplained after first breach - how long would it take 4 dudes to clear the space they were in?

sure would be neat to see the handwriting on the calculations and compare it to his check for her car

What is Ogden?

Do the drive times between all these places add up ??

WHAT TOOK PLACE BETWEEN 10:16 & 10:41 - 25 MINUTES ARE UNACCOUNTED FOR <<

I think they were hiding that SWAT was not called for until 10.25 noone has every explained where swat was during all this
