Outraged should be how I feel... but... I'm numb. SO many cases, same circumstances, same ending, another precious child killed. I don't want to even think about how many that I've followed just on websleuths this year. At this rate, we have no worry about overpopulation... murderers are taking care of that. Sickening. I pray the sibling is removed far away from this family, and gets a loving, supportive, dedicated family that wants to parent!

Not sleuthing them but the murdered child is 3 and the mom is 20 and the "boyfriend / bio dad of the victim is 40 . So I am taking a leap here and assuming this guy knocked up his underaged girlfriend..

Neighbors tell me they believe Daniel Theriot lived at the Kensington Suites in West Las Vegas - some said before they found out about a missing child, they saw the family leave that morning with a white box, many now fear it may have had his body inside.

Google tells me Nevada has the death penalty. Unfortunately that does not bring little Daniel back a crime committed against a little child is the worst thing someone could ever do. Sometimes I don't understand this world we live in, so much evil out there.

I was really hoping for this beautiful boy to be home safe this morning.

I was so optimistic in this case, since we didn't really hear the red flags in the beginning. We didn't hear she wasn't frantic so we didn't know to suspect her.

This is terrifying. This is Las Vegas. These cops see awful stuff all the time.

If the manner of death was "absolutely disturbing" to them then we should probably brace ourselves because this is going to make us sick. I'm having Ethan Stacy flashbacks now.

Beautiful little boy. Mine is playing with his big dump truck and his big Scoop from Bob the Builder. He's going to need a bath from playing in the dirt. I just don't understand people who can do things like this. I just don't.

When we got to the suites we noticed police on both sides of the building neighbors said Daniel lived in - we knocked on the door of the room they said he was in - no answer.

Neighbors who live in the suites are frustrated, some asking themselves if they missed any signs and if more could have been done. One neighbor told me he lit a candle in honor of Daniel after learning he was found dead.

This story is just gut-wrenching. We were all hoping 3-year-old Daniel Theriot will be found safe and alive. Now, police are saying they found his body and the suspects in his murder are his own mother and her boyfriend.
