FERNLEY, Nev. (KOLO) - A woman who went missing from a Walmart parking lot in Fernley, Nev. may have been kidnapped authorities said.

Naomi Irion was last seen inside her vehicle in the parking lot on Newlands Drive, Saturday, March 12 around 5 a.m. According to Naomi’s family, she works for Panasonic in the Reno/Sparks area and was waiting for a shuttle when she went missing.

Video surveillance shows a person walking from a nearby homeless camp, lurking in vehicles, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said. He is then seen getting into the driver’s seat of Naomi’s vehicle and leaves in an unknown direction with Naomi in the passenger seat.

Authorities said on Tuesday Naomi’s car had been found in Fernley. They have closed off the area and are looking for more evidence related to her disappearance. She has not been located at this time, the sheriff’s office said.

If they've got that surveillance, they know how she got from the driver side of the vehicle to the passenger side. It seems she either got out of her car and went to the passenger side, indicating a willingness to be driven off, or she was shoved over there by the man and wasn't willing, it seems.

It appears from family members, shoved is the appropriate term in this instance.

Darn, that's peculiar. SMH. Someone from a homeless camp? Was he truly homeless, or is that where he was hiding, waiting to do harm to someone or wanting a vehicle? Was it a tryst?
And now the car is found but apparently no one was in it.
Hoping she hasn't/doesn't come to any harm, but it doesn't look good.

It says she’s waiting for a shuttle. So was she waiting for a shuttle or walking to her own car?or waiting for a shuttle to take her to her car? Which mean 2 different locations. It says the POI was “lurking in” vehicles meaning he was breaking in to cars or what? Cars in this parking lot were unlocked and he was hanging out looking for an unsuspecting victim?

I think maybe they mean "lurking in-between" cars.

I believe she was waiting for a shuttle to take her to work.

Naomis vehicle has been located in Fernley. We have closed off the area and are going to be looking for additional information/evidence. Naomi has still not been located at this time.

So she left the parking lot as a passenger in her own vehicle at 5 AM, her vehicle was found parked 10 minutes away at 2:15 PM (roughly).

I hope CCTV is available.

Can't find any public transit routes with a pick-up in that area. Was it a private shuttle, potentially like an employee shuttle service?

Update * According to Google + reviews, Panasonic does offer an employee shuttle.

Worrying thing is, if this man is homeless, then I imagine he wouldn't have any place to keep her. Missing for 4 days and still not found, it doesn't bode well.

“Evidence suggesting” makes me think they found her cell, handbag, keys? This is scary. Praying for her safe return.
