Thanks! He may have moved recently as currently LE is stating he's a resident of CA, not Nevada. King's Beach is on the border, but if anyone wants to search court records for him you might want to check CA, not just Nevada for past criminal history. (I checked Placer county 2015 to today and got nothing). I hope she just took off realizing he was bad news and didn't come to harm. https://fox40.com/news/local-news/p...y-missing-woman-boyfriend-person-of-interest/

Detectives said Clifford was driving Portella-Wright's vehicle, a red 2003 Chevy Blazer, that was last seen heading westbound on Highway 70 from US-395 at Hallelujah Junction on the California side, which led deputies toward Portola.

The sheriff's office said the two lived together and Clifford is now being called a person of interest in her disappearance.

As reported by the Reno Gazette Journal, “Brent Clifford is also a person of interest in a missing persons case. Police said Clifford was the last person to be seen with Patricia Portella-Wright, 48, who disappeared from the Kings Beach area in Lake Tahoe and was reported missing on Friday.

North Lake Tahoe sources have told The Globe that the son of Doug Clifford, the founding drummer of Clearance Clearwater Revival, has been arrested as a person of interest in a fatal shooting in Reno, NV, and is a suspect in a missing person’s case of a Kings Beach, CA woman believed to be in a relationship with Brent Clifford.

Looks like the perpetrator has a well-known father.

Placer County murder suspect is son of Creedence Clearwater Revival drummer Doug Clifford

ABC 10 News Brent Chandler Clifford
"Law enforcement said they believe Clifford drove Andrews’ red 2003 Chevrolet Blazer for some time after his death. The vehicle was last reported to be traveling westbound on Highway 70, according to the Placer deputies."

This makes more sense than the Blazer being Clifford's vehicle and explains why LE couldn't say why she was "associated with" the car.
