DA calls Meyers' killing 'Stupid and senseless' during Nowsch court appearance
Mon, 23 Feb 2015 11:32:00 EST
LAS VEGAS -
(snip)

Erich Nowsch, 19, made his first court appearance in Las Vegas Justice Court. It was a standing-room only. Victim Tammy Meyers' husband, Bob Meyers, was in the courtroom.

Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson called the shooting a "stupid and senseless act of murder."

(snip)

"No options are off the table and that includes the death penalty in this case," Wolfson said.

I wonder if there was press outside to capture BM's thoughts or quote of the day...

That is your opinion, That is fine. But if Tammy went out looking for him with an armed son, That changes things.
If the son drew his gun first, that is a problem too.
The problem with this is that If TM had just gone inside and called 911 and told him that the guy WHOM SHE KNEW was following her and threatening her, She would still be alive.
I think she bares some responsibility here for the events that occurred. Does she deserve to be dead? No. But had she not been all gangster about going to find him, Most likely she would be alive.
Tell me, Anyone here, Would you go get you armed son and go looking for someone who was involved in a road rage thing?
My guess, NO, is the answer.
I don't believe anything this family says at this point. I don't believe this guy is innocent but I think there are way more questions than answers and that this family is a little not all there.

I'm not even ready to buy that EN was the shooter yet. Too strange that they haven't found Mr. Audi yet, IMO.

And, on an interesting sidenote the baby faced suspect has one rather bad-ar$e attorney...lol....he is a mixed martial arts fighter for fun....as if this case needed any other sideshow to sell it...

those tats aren't temporary ones are they??? :gaah:

I get the feeling someone else was behind the wheel of the green car. JMO

I don't think there is any evidence of that and the DA nor LE believes it and they are the ones with the evidence.

I wouldn't doubt at all there are cameras around the school parking lot and other places in the surrounding area and I think LE has viewed quite a few of them by now.

IMO

Personally, I think he is toast.

The very ones that are going to help him get to get locked up for life or on death row are his friends he told he committed the murder and bragged about all the shooting he did with his .45 which just happens to be the weapon used to murder Tammy Myers.

And no one knew about the first shooting scene. LE kept that out of the news like they have kept a lot of things, imo. But EN knew all about that shooting because he was the one who did it.

Sounds like the Audi guy has more brains than this shooter and is hiding out somewhere.

I don't think so. If I were on the jury and part of the evidence was that the person who was killed, grabbed an armed son and went out looking for the suspect whom she knew, that would change my verdict. It just not as clear and dry then if she had stayed home called police and then he just showed up and started shooting.
I think that it is plausible that the son aimed at him first.

Interesting.

"... Selig, whose son was a close friend of Nowsch's, said, "Erich has been going nuts on everybody" since his father's death on Feb. 9. 2010."

That same man reported someone pulled a gun on him a few hours later.

The other "neighbor" who commented on EN's behavior lives in... Temecula, CA?
Isn't that where Bob is from? (Temecula Ranchos, CA per FB.) Small world.

Oh, and RS goes by his middle name, Stan.

Just a quick thought on courtroom presence looking ahead to trial. The suspect EN is this baby-faced, almost delicate waifish-looking teen, and by the time of the trial shall be transformed most likely into an innocent/harmless looking child.
When he is seated next to his attorney if it’s still Conrad Claus (who is good-sized it seems) in a jury’s eyes he will look smaller yet than his 5’03” and bantamweight size. Clever strategy.
May be harder for the jurors to give a death sentence, and I think in NV it only takes one dissenting juror to move execution from the table.

I actually really like the image below. http://www.desertcompanion.com/article.cfm?ArticleID=291
Imo as always

Is "Barbara" even a real person? She certainly had a LOT of details for someone who was just a 'friend of the family.' That go-fund-me acct appeared to have been set up by Bob.....it showed HIS FB profile picture was the person who "created" the acct (on Feb 14). How is it possible for someone to create such an acct for "someone else" such that it will show that that someone else created it? Sorry but I never bought that it was "Barbara" (whoever she is, if she's even real) created it.

JMO--Thank you for posting this. I think B posts "Obamacare" because there are folks who really don't understand what health insurance is, (and why having it is good for everybody), they just don't like a certain person.

First, I'm fairly certain TM's insurance has an actual name, and it isn't Obamacare. I think accuracy counts.

Second, I'm not sure I believe the billing has already totally 100% cycled through.

Third, are B&B asserting that TM's health insurance has absolutely no catastrophic yearly cost cap? I think it's important they are transparent on this particular issue. (These types of caps are a maximum out of pocket to the consumer billing amount during the calendar year. It doesn't cap "care", it caps billing to the patient.)

And I also agree it appears B&B aren't telling the full story.
