Alright, I've worked on a theory for a bit, and would love to get feedback. Again, I'm sorry if any of this has come up before, I really tried to catch up but I had to finally call it quits because if I see one more bird of prey I suspect that my eyeballs will shrivel up and fall out...

One of the names on our list of potential matches is Thomas Michaud of Colorado.

I don't remember who, but someone here suggested that they believe that John Doe was killed by a relative. Now, I haven't been able to find much backstory on this person, but there is a notorious serial killer and rapist couple by the names of Michelle MICHAUD and James Daveggio who were active in the Reno/Tahoe area as well as the Bay Area. The two of them are absolutely evil. Here is some information about their crimes, but it's really disturbing so be careful...

John Doe may have been a crystal meth user on account of the condition of his teeth. Daveggio and Michaud also used meth together during their sick "adventures" as she called them.

I'm unsure where Michelle Michaud was born, but I did find a Thomas Arthur Michaud born 8/9/1952 in San Mateo county, CA in the CA birth index. May or may not be the same TAM. The missing person profile at

lists his DOB as 8/10/1955. Interesting.

M Michaud and Daveggio's crimes were also of an extremely sadistic sexual nature. It was suggested a while back that this man may have been killed during a sexual interaction because only a shirt was found.

Something else about the t-shirt: since the artist's name/copyright was included, and as it appeared to be a quality tee, it's likely that this shirt was sold by a known/reputable company and was not a cheap knock-off by more disreputable companies later (eg. the Singapore conglomerate). To me that might indicate the likelihood that the shirt was sold in the late 1970s to early 1980s. From what was in his bio on the memorial pages, it seems the knock-offs that eventually came later caused this artist to "close up shop" and turn to sculpting.

What you posted was bringing us right back here to post #19 on this very thread. That isn't necessary.

What would be better is don't do google search but search here on WS for a thread on the specific missing person you are looking for. (ie: Bond, James 007).
At the top of each page is an Advanced search box - that will help you look throughout WS for threads started looking for this missing person.

If you will go to the missing person's thread - highlight the bar at the top left of the page and copy it to a post on this thread - then I can put your post # from this thread (alerting us to the thread on WS) on the original alpha list. (like I did above)

No - I started with doenetwork and found the corresponding link for each one (if they exist) from Namus.
so to answer you - the ones listed do have Namus (if I could find it).

I have not looked at Charley at all.
 
I will post an updated alpha list on or about the 1301 post that include all the ones added from today (including post #'s for info)

After doing a bit of reading on the two, it appears they were active in the mid-late 1990s. Their victims were all female including 2 relatives. (They are evil.)

Not saying their MO would always remain the same, but they were into women, torture, and strangulation. Our victim was male, possibly tortured (not proven), and stabbed. I don't see how it fits, but anything is possible.

SBM - I know the first part wasn't at me, but that's a nifty job title and I'd love it! Been doing genealogy since 2003! But as for the second part, no, no not my tree, just someone else's who probably is related to Jim Kitson. I merely found it with the search button and some advanced fields filled out with info from his short obituary snips we've seen around here today. :)
 
I've hit up NamUs but probably not as thoroughly as you all will do. I may have left people out you'd include.. but if you start with Charley then those I pretty surely won't have gone through yet, if you want more "guaranteed fresh" submission material.

At NamUs I was searching for white males... wait.. is there any reason for me to think he's white, or did I just assume that because of the color of his hair? Because that's not a good idea, I shouldn't have done that should I have?

anyway, between 6' and 7' with red hair, then i went back and did the blonde/strawberry option with the same other parameters, spanning 1989-1992.

But yeah not as thoroughly as you guys probably will. I think I excluded some people who seemed too heavy for the clothing found with our UID but maybe I shouldn't have done that either.

He caught my attention due to his interesting resemblance to the facial reconstruction:

His particulars (e.g., Age, Height, Date LKA) fit the John Doe.

The circumstances don't seem to be that far off. His vehicle was left at a highway rest stop in Arizona. Foul play was suspected, but apparently not conclusive.

His NamUs casefile indicates that a DNA profile is submitted and tests are complete. But we have been hearing that under certain circumstances, a DNA profile might not always result in a CODIS hit on a good match.

It's not my call here but I'd say just keep looking for new ones to add to the list. JMO.

Let's concentrate on finding new ones. Currently we have 175 submitted missing persons - I will post it as soon as post #1301 pops up.

BTW - Brookshire now has the record for fastest R/O on the list!!!

LEO's have asked us to post the Namus link - so if you find a new one from a different source, please also add the Namus link (if it exists)
