How about this plea……. Dear media, please stop giving him a microphone and a platform. How about rendering it irrelevant? Ignoring some things is a wise idea I once learned. I won’t be watching.

I always reference the Simpsons Halloween episode from many years ago, when the giant restaurant mascots come alive and Lisa sings the song, ‘just don’t look! Just don’t look!’. The giants die from lack of attention.
Honestly, I think of that often.

Fact check: Trump did have chance to testify in Carroll case

Sam Levin
Trump misleadingly suggested that the judge in the sexual abuse and defamation trial brought by writer E Jean Carroll had prevented him from producing evidence, saying, “He allowed us to put nothing in.”

Trump has repeatedly made false claims that he was “not allowed to speak or defend” himself. But Trump did not call any witnesses, nor did he make an appearance during the two week-trial, except when excerpts of a video deposition from last year were played in the courtroom.

The judge, Lewis A Kaplan, who the former president has repeatedly attacked, told Trump’s legal team that he could file a request to testify, but he chose not to. The jury found that the former president sexually abused Carroll, meaning subjecting her to sexual contact with the use of force and without her consent, and ordered him to pay $5m in damages.

Trump denies sexual abuse finding

Donald Trump just addressed yesterday’s verdict in advice columnist E Jean Carroll’s civil lawsuit against him, in which a federal jury found him liable for sexual abuse and defamation.

“This woman, I don’t know her. I never met her. I have no idea who she is,” Trump said of Carroll, saying he had a picture taken with Carroll and her husband “years ago”.

Trump ‘swears on his children’ he has not met E Jean Carroll

A defiant former president Donald Trump on Wednesday told a CNN town hall audience that he has never met the woman who a New York jury said he sexually assaulted in a department store dressing room in the 1990s.

Donald Trump has spent much of the town hall so far repeating false claims about the 2020 election and further attacking E Jean Carroll, who a jury determined yesterday he is liable for sexually abusing.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
, an influential progressive Democrat in the House of Representatives, says CNN should never allowed the event to happen:

I just got a fright.

I turned on my radio in the kitchen and there he was, ranting and going on, and for 5 mins I felt very disappointed in our national broadcaster for playing the stream.

I left the room, then went back a few minutes later and it was just the usual news :D

But they did give him 5 mins more than they should have. Unless they did stream it and that was the end part

I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt.

At CNN’s town hall with Donald Trump Wednesday night, the former president responded to a jury finding him liable the day before for a sexual assault—by calling his accuser a “wack job” and repeating the same misogynistic tropes he said in his deposition to the delight of an adoring crowd.

“I don't know her. I never met her. I have no idea who she is,” Trump claimed to a cheering auditorium at Saint Anselm College. “I had a picture taken years ago with her and her husband.”

Trump then went on to frame the version of events from his accuser—journalist E. Jean Carroll—as a complete fantasy, sarcastically saying he was “immediately attracted to her.”

“She was immediately attracted to me. And we had this great chemistry,” he said facetiously. “We're walking into a crowded department. We had this great chemistry—and a few minutes later we ended up in a dressing room.”

“What kind of a woman meets somebody and brings them up and within minutes you're playing Hanky Panky in a dressing room?” Trump said Wednesday night, bringing raucous laughter from the selected crowd that seemed heavily partial to the former president, and that beamed at his recollection of the events.

Trump also repeated his controversial remarks that celebrities get away with sexually assaulting people “unfortunately or fortunately.” He once again claimed this practice had been going on for “a million years.”

Trump’s legal team has said they plan to appeal the decision.

Trump rants about E Jean Carroll’s cat after he is found liable of sexual abuse

Donald Trump hit out at accuser E Jean Carroll after the jury in a civil trial found he sexually abused the writer.

In a string of 10 messages posted in a rant to the platform Truth Social on Tuesday, the most bizarre of the former president’s complaints was that the jury had not been told the name of Ms Carroll’s cat, Vagina T. Fireballl.

Pence still covering for the guy who didn't care if he was executed by the mob he unleashed on him.

Pence said he “never heard or witnessed behavior” like what Trump was found liable for during his time serving as Trump’s running mate and vice president.

He also avoided saying whether he believes the jury’s finding affects whether Trump, who is widely seen as the frontrunner for the GOP nomination for president in 2024, is fit to serve in the White House again.

“I think that’s a question for the American people,” Pence said. “I’m sure the president will defend himself in that matter.”
Pence is afraid. He's afraid to lose the right wing vote and that is in conflict with his extreme religious views. It's a tough balancing act.

He wants to be President and fight for the extreme religious conservatives. At least that's what Mother told him to do.

Horrible audience tonight. Trump cannot be allowed to carry on the way he did tonight, mocking and ridiculing E Jean Carroll. The man incites hostility and hatred every time he opens his mouth. The court needs to step in and protect E Jean Carroll from any future attacks.

I won't be watching either. Of course I hope he makes a fool of himself, but I can read about it later:) I think he'll still be in his "child throwing an angry tantrum" mode, even though he'll try his BEST to pretend he doesn't care. He's so transparent and predictable, all it will take is couple questions to get him flustered and he'll be gasping for air.

Wouldn't it be GREAT if E. Jean Carroll was there to ask a question?????? Lol!!!
I wouldn’t wish that on her at all! she’s had enough of him I’m sure. IMO
