They should also be easy to find. Since their passports are swiped on a regular basis.

Yep. Surreal. Is it 100 % confirmed who they are?

The two men, approximately ages 35 and 42, were tourists from Egypt who have since returned to their home country.

Before they returned to Egypt, the two men had been staying in a hotel in Manhattan.

The F.B.I. has submitted a request to the Egyptian government and is seeking to question the two men.

Thank you, JG, as it's not up on search engines that I cannot find it yet.

Two men wanted for questioning about undetonated Chelsea bomb were Egyptian pilots who have since left the U.S.

Thank you, Momoffourboys, and even clearer now... not floral, but:

"Police released additional photos of the two men earlier this week, as well as of the tote bag, which has a tiger’s face on it and is covered with tiger print."

Thank you very much, Lauranyc83.

So Fried chicken, burn marks in the backyard, previously investigated, and everybody close to him seems to either have been in transit, as it played out, or soon thereafter, in some form or another. Distancing still going on in the interviews, a vociferous defense begins as soon as the wife returns? It could be state sponsors or drug concerns or both, Islamist or jihadist, or whatever kind of ideologue, retaliatory or provocatively, ultimately to intimidate, trying to cover their asses, or just luck, I guess? Either way, it seems like a massive investigation.

Seaside, NYC bombings leave scars
By Mike Davis, Asbury Park Press

"But the group of people who did not shrug off the attacks are likely the 31 people injured in the Chelsea blast on Sept. 17, one expert said.

About one-third of bombing victims develop post-traumatic stress disorder but recover within six to 18 months, said Monmouth University psychology professor Christine Hatchard.

Watching other people dismiss the bombings ultimately shame victims into feeling like it "wasn't a big deal," failing to acknowledge any trauma they might have suffered.

"Most survivors of terrorism will feel varying levels of psychological distress in the immediate aftermath of the traumatic event," Hatchard said. "We can help victims by responding to their concerns and taking their psychological reactions seriously, even when we personally don’t feel as impacted by the traumatic event.""

In wake of bombing, New Yorkers are increasingly seeing threats in the trash left on the street
By Barbara Demick, The Los Angeles Times

On Monday night, part of Columbia Presbyterian Hospital had to be evacuated after the discovery of a suspicious package outside. That one turned out to be a deliberate hoax — made out of cardboard tubes that had been taped together to look like dynamite with a digital display from a computer board taped on top. A 56-year-old man who was seen on surveillance video near the fake bomb was arrested.

“We couldn’t believe it. We had been cutting his hair since he was 12 years old. He had changed,’’ Sonia Reyes, owner of the beauty salon, said last week, keeping her voice low because FBI agents were searching her basement, which is attached to the basement of the Rahami house.

(Did anyone notice a report that had SR saying that she didn't recognize the last group of mixed people who stopped by her salon with him just around the time of the bombings?)

Surveillance footage shows the men walking along the street, and approaching the abandoned duffel bag which contained the device.
The pair removed the pressure cooker out of the bag, placing it inside a garbage bag and walked away carrying the now empty luggage, according to the report.
Investigators believe the two young men unknowingly switched off the explosive when they took it out of the rolling duffel bag, sources said.

'You can see them inspecting the bag, turning it around and talking about it as though they are saying it is not bad, and looks pretty good, and walk off with it,' a source told the website.

Rahami’s father was also asked about the two men since the FBI released the photos last week. The elder Rahami reportedly said the two men did not appear to be familiar and he reiterated his belief that his son acted alone.

“He did everything by himself. He buy everything himself. He order and online he did it by himself,” Rahami said.
