SEE IT: Driver beaten by bikers leaves Manhattan apartment with bruising on face

The Manhattan driver battered by a motorcycle mob silently exited his Manhattan apartment Friday, his injuries still visible nearly two weeks after the attack.

Alexian Lien sported sunglasses, a gray hoodie and stitches in his right cheek as he was photographed for the first time since a Sept. 29 video chronicled his beatdown

The soft-spoken 10-year police veteran spoke in a thick Polish accent before he was was told by a minder to keep his mouth closed.

The 32-year-old suspended cop's lawyer had said Broszczok would testify Friday before the grand jury in the case.

But the panel will not hear the case until next week, and he instead appeared for a hearing to update the court on the status of his case.

This article says he is married.

FACE OF A COWARD: Biker undercover cop faces charges that could mean 25 years behind bars as prosecutors say he was an 'active participant' who terrorized the SUV driver's helpless family

The NYPD undercover who hid behind his badge after a motorcycle mob beating was exposed in court Wednesday as a suspected bully, a liar — and a coward.

Suspended Detective Wojciech Braszczok cut a ghostly figure as he bolted from a Manhattan courthouse through a rear door, his face covered by a hoodie and a dark-colored cloth after posting $150,000 bond.

He refused to answer questions about the Sept. 29 beatdown where prosecutors say he ignored a bleeding Manhattan dad attacked by a frothing mob before lying to cover his motorcycle tracks.

OMG! What next? Are you KIDDING ME? C'mon, this is just getting beyond ridiculous now. Who the hell is policing the policemen in New York?

ETA: I'm not lumping all policemen in New York together, sorry if it comes across that way. Just frustrated at the new revelations coming out every day.

13 days it took to come up with this. Probably waited to see if there was footage before this revelation.
I do wonder how powerful their union lawyers are, they do have free lawyers right?

Check the earlier posts. I'm not sure about all of them, but the first undercover clown had to hire a lawyer on his own. No union lawyer for him, they are running scared from representing outright criminals I guess.

Internal Affairs??? This is beyond ridiculous.. I swear the next thing we hear is that FBI agents were in it too! :maddening:

I just read The Pope and his Popemobile have admitted to being part of the biker gang!:floorlaugh:

Yeah. Or egos clashed. Perhaps the biker cop brake-checked the union lawyer's strategy by speaking very, very slowly while hulking over said lawyer's desk and smashing his office supplies.

From the article by Parascandola, Jacobs and McShane : "The suspect lost his union attorney after friction over his bogus story, sources said."

:floorlaugh: Well it clearly sounds like it was the lawyer's own dang fault for having his desk follow so closely behind said biker cop! And did you see how mouthy those office supplies got with said biker cop? Asking for it!

One of the articles above said the union attorney quit on him because he lied. I like your version better. It's probably a lot closer to the truth!

I don't remember this being posted. Sorry if it's a repeat. I thought it was a interesting discussion. The demonstration of the license plate concealment at the end of the video is informative.

Judge Jeanine Pirro discusses incident with retired detective and criminal defense attorney.

I usually watch Judge Jeanine but I missed that, thanks for posting. Very interesting, pretty much confirming everything I'd already thought.

I wonder why it's not really being talked about a lot is the fact that Mrs Lien called 911 numerous times and never received any help.

The Liens are being so classy about everything, not speaking out against anyone or hiring ambulance chasing lawyers. Still sickens me that they are being sued by that hoodlum and his shyster lawyer.

In my opinion...it does not matter what happened prior to the recorded video...that is what the police are for. You do not gang up on one person and beat them up because they may have clipped you on the highway...or road rage...and left...or anything (if that's even what happened)...you get their tag number...you get their identifying factors...and you call the police...their are NO excuses for their behavior absolutely none...my opinion.

I'm pretty confident that the arrogance of this group will also help to convict. How wonderful that they were arrogant and ignorant enough to video and post their exploits online, not only on this day, but other rides from other times as well. I am sure there will be a clear pattern of their behavior that will be much like a gift to the prosecution.

Julissa Ferreras, a city councilwoman representing Corona, called for the investigation after a blog connected her district office manager to a Facebook group trying to get Robert Sims out of jail. Sims is one of the bikers accused of attacking Alexian Lien after he was pursued by a group of bikers.
