I made a list - there are 14 pending - not counting this one & the rape case. :)
MOO Don't you think each dilutes the purpose of the other? To me, it's kind of like throwing stuff against a wall to see what sticks. And no, I didn't vote for him. Independent

Does that include ones that haven't been charged yet, like Fani Willis (Georgia), Tish James (NY) and the DOJ?

Yes - I shall put a list together -

Oops - my mistake - make that 12 13 lawsuits - I had Carroll's lawsuit in the list.

1) New York - The business practices of his family company, the Trump Organization, are being examined by prosecutors. The criminal investigation into the Trump Organization has already yielded convictions.

2) New York - Letitia James, the New York attorney general, is leading a civil investigation (which cannot result in criminal charges) & has spent years looking at whether the company committed various acts of fraud over several decades. Trial on 10/2/23.

3) New York - A criminal investigation is being led by the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg & is looking at similar issues.

4) DOJ - The Dept. of Justice is looking into the removal of government documents from the White House, which were then taken to Trump's Florida estate, Mar-a-Lago, after he left office.

5) DOJ - Trump's alleged role in the attack on the US Capitol on 6 January 2021

6) Georgia: Fulton County, Georgia Criminal Election Influence Investigation. Prosecuting Office: Fulton County, GA District Attorney’s Office.

7) New York - The 'multi-level marketing' pyramid scheme case. The Parties: Lead plaintiff Catherine McKoy & three others sued Trump, his business & his three eldest children, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump & Ivanka Trump, in 2018 in federal court in Manhattan.

8) New York - Mary Trump Fraud Litigation: Mary Trump is suing Donald Trump for defrauding her out of millions of dollars in an inheritance dispute.

9) New York - Doe vs. The Trump Corporation Class Action. A group of anonymous plaintiffs have filed a class action against the Trump family & their business, alleging that the Trumps used their brand to scam investors into paying for worthless business opportunities.

10) Washington D.C. - Karen Bass et al. Incitement Suit for Jan. 6 Capitol Attack.

11) Washington D.C. - Second Capitol Police Suit over the Jan. 6 Riots. Smith v. Trump, No. 21-cv-02265 (D.D.C. filed Aug. 26, 2021). Plaintiff: Seven Capitol Police officers.

12) Washington DC - Capitol Police Suit for Jan. 6 Riots. Blassingame v. Trump

13) Washington D.C. - Third Capitol Police Suit over the Jan. 6 Riots. Moore v. Trump,

I believe that is NOT all of them....

edited - as I see I messed up!

Aren't they grouped in various jurisdictions, under various judges? I don't see how that can be avoided. If he's accused of election tampering in Georgia, they really do have to charge him with that in Georgia, can't be anywhere else.

And if he has financial crimes in NY, then they have to try those there.

I don't think any of these places are doing it just to do it. I think the officials in Georgia who are charging him really believe he tampered, and the State in NY really does believe he committed financial crimes.

IMO. (Also a registered Independent).

Donald Trump became the first president in American history to face criminal charges, after a grand jury voted to indict him March 30 over hush-money payments made to a *advertiser censored* star named Stormy Daniels. That case is just one of dozens of lawsuits and investigations threatening the 45th president. To keep them all straight, Forbes assembled a one-of-a-kind tracker following Trump’s legal troubles. We’ll continue to update it as the cases continue (and new ones arise).

Still to me and others I've spoken with (most all of us Independent voters, some Dem) feel as though his opponents are throwing "everything but the kitchen sink" at him. Making it more of a satire event than legit. Again MOO.

The timing is suspect

I think the only one he's got a shot at winning is the defamation case. It will all come down to whether the jury believes the plaintiff. jmo

Or stop investigating and charging him.

Clear example: all the discussion about his taxes... why doesn't he turn over his taxes? what's he hiding in his taxes? Every other presidential candidate has turned over their taxes, why hasn't he? Finally his taxes are made public and what happened - nothing. All of this only emboldens him. I said it earlier, he would have been gone a long time ago if he weren't constantly being attacked or investigated and with nothing coming of it.
Lol at thinking because things don't happen right away they aren't going to happen at all. Trump is only still around because he's being attacked? More lolz

And when the cases are actually tried is subject to the schedules of the various courts, not scheduled according to when Trump decided to run for office. It’s not a plot, folks LOL.

Each of those cases involve individuals, companies, countries, cities, etc. that say they suffered wrongdoing.

I doubt that anyone suffering losses or injustices thinks they are just less than the kitchen sink.

They deserve their day in court.

Trump has gotten his day in court many a times. It’s his thing:

“He sues,” said Barbara Res, the Trump Tower construction manager and a former executive vice president of the Trump Organization. “That’s his M.O. He sues.”

“It’s just another tool in his war chest,” said Jack O’Donnell, the former president of the Trump Plaza casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. “He uses it to wear people out, whether it’s financially or emotionally.”

“He’s used litigation historically to keep hostile forces at bay and to delay reckonings,” Trump biographer Tim O’Brien said. “He’s also used it to try to embarrass competitors, critics or opponents. And I think by and large he’s done that successfully. He’s the poster child for the abuses and inefficiencies of the American court system.”

Can Trump Still Sue His Way Out of Trouble?

Just the other day yet another promise by Trump to sue:

On the other hand, in a deposition unsealed just yesterday in E. Jean Carroll’s lawsuit against Trump, whom she’s accused of rape, Trump lashed out at Carroll’s attorney, ranting, “I will sue her after this is over, and that’s the thing I really look forward to doing. And I’ll sue you too … but I’ll be suing her very strongly after this.” Sanctions may make it harder for Trump to find a decent attorney, but it probably won’t cure his habit of attempting to misuse the legal system for vengeance.

Did $1 Million Fine Teach Trump a Lesson About ‘Frivolous’ Lawsuits?

Trump et al are completely satirist: “send in the clowns; never mind they’re here”.
