It appears that they have 99 rule-outs on Namus. That's a lot of people that she is not. I hope they are close to finding who she is.
Is it possible the remains are older than they believe? NamUs lists years, but doenetwork states 1980-1990? Just curious if we should be looking at older MP cases.
Texas woman looks pretty solid, but it's so far away. Always worth a shot, though.http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/y/young_agnes.html

What about these two based on looks?
Is the rule-out list no longer listed on the new website? I can't seem to find one.
I notice that they've done for this UID what I wish they'd do for all reconstructions: they show her with a variety of hair colors and styles: Unidentified Person Case
Just stumbled upon this thread when looking in the unidentified threads. I actually grew up in Hunter. Where the skull was found was near my uncle's and my other aunt's home; somewhere between there. My mother had overheard some talking about it and I have always wondered who's head this really is, and weird that they never found a body. I can ask her for more information on it and see if I can find any articles about it.
I always also wondered if it was related to a mafia kind of thing. There were a lot of bodies that got dumped around near Hunter, and I guess they were always labeled by the mob because they were known to do this thing where they would remove the heads, hands and feet of their victims and dump those parts separately from the rest of their bodies-- in fact, another one of my aunts who live nearby in Hunter had found someone's hands on her property. Don't think they ever matched up who's they were, either. Just hands. Odd stuff.
Yes it would be great if they did that with other does.I notice that they've done for this UID what I wish they'd do for all reconstructions: they show her with a variety of hair colors and styles: The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
