So happy to see that response last night. Zwiebel I also emailed everyone I could think of pointing them in the right direction with the link....I also commented on the post so I wouldn't lose it as I tend to put things in places where I can find them...and then never do :floorlaugh:

I'm bumping this, because it makes me want to do a little victory dance in my garden. I daren't, because it's dark here and I'm scared the faeries will get me (that's what happens when you marry an Irish-born man) but I don't care! 'The matter' is Jennifer! Jennifer is foremost in their minds !

That can only be a very, very good thing, surely?

I'm kind of divided on his statement. :fence:

The cynic in me believes it's just politician speech that's very politely saying: "Go away and mind your own business" "but remember to vote for me in the next election"

and yet...

the Pollyanna in me rather likes the word "foremost," but even more the phrase "we are working as fast as we can"

That sounds a little more proactive than "waiting for tox reports" -- as if things are getting done, rather than putting Jen's case on the back burner. Could it possibly be that the tox reports are now in, and the DA's office is "working as fast as we can" to prepare all the necessary documents for an arrest?

I've been trying to remember when Rick Blaine posted last -- I went back but couldn't find him anywhere...but didn't he say something recently that alluded to some action taking place soon?

If one's husband isn't Irish-born, can one dance in the garden after dark without danger of faeries?:lepsmilie::skip:

I'm guessing that really hot woman wrestler!

I got this mixed with your last question as the person that ran against Revoir was female and I got a good chuckle. This should answer both questions?

:)

Thank you so much for the links. We are not allowed to sleuth fellow posters, so I don't. Really. But wow, I was really tested by your post. I had a really hard time NOT looking out for someone who was kinda bearish and angelic. I think I succeeded.......

Not everyone who sits in an armchair is on WS lol  but I do.... sometimes..so you found me...I am somewhere in the car, parade, LE, livestock, band, holiday section....cool beaners lol!!! There are many pics tagged of people who can, and will do, something about this case...but it will take many to get it done ~:rocker:

New post from DA https://www.facebook.com/pages/Chen...eys-Office/482719641784152?hc_location=stream 39 minutes ago. The page allows comments so everyone feel free to comment to bring more attention to Jennifer.

"Thank you for your comments .....The matter is foremost on our mind and we are working as fast as we can."

Sooooo happy to see that the DA has respectfully answered the questions about Jennifer being posed to him .. and really happy to see that many in the community are taking this opportunity to comment him with positive concern that Jennifer receives justice. Good on everyone for getting local discussion going!

:great:

Oh dear...this is SOOO tempting...!

But...speaking of photos...I do believe that Dancer 4030 is the most beautiful cow I've ever seen :crush::cow:

And some nice photos of Judge Revoir and his family -- I suppose he'll be presiding over the trial...

Ice too thin for the Perch Derby...dang...no more pickup trucks going through

Yes, but it was a hope. And it was a hope that was disappointed, sadly.

Agreed. It is largely positive and constructive, and I think it's a great way for the DA to see the level of local interest and concern about Jennifer's case. It may just be enough to encourage other announcements, you never know.

I'm not saying we should expect a DA to outline every detail of a case, but unless there are really, really good reasons for silence, I think an occasional comment just to reassure people Jennifer's case isn't being neglected, is very helpful.

Not least to remind anyone being less than helpful - even obstructive - exactly whose toes they are stepping on.

Just was over at J4J and was overwhelmed, almost to the point of tears. Jen's sister has come up with the idea of putting signs (like political signs) in the front yards of residents in New Berlin, Norwich, etc., which say "Justice for Jennifer" and within 5 hours she has gotten over 50 responses of local residents who are ready to put the signs in front of their homes, fields, farms....

 locals - you rock!! :tyou:

That is great news! I hope a local can take a pic and post it here?

Better yet, get a photo of the signs (there's about 80 locals now who have said they'd put up signs -- some of whom said they'd put 2 in their yard, and also some said their neighbors would too -- so I'm thinking maybe could even get a street sort of lined up with signs) and then send that in to the Evening Sun -- the photo could accompany a special interest story (Locals call for justice in the mysterious death of a local Mom, while D.A. says her case is foremost on thier minds) (first sentence) - Jennifer was a Girl Scout Troop Leader, a Sunday School Teacher, an artist, and a knitting teacher -- but most of all, she was passionate about her family -- her life revolved around her kids." -- perhaps interviewing folks from her knitting class, her pastor, her girl scout troop cohorts, etc. along with an update of the case (quote from DA).

I'm just so touched that locals are rallying around like this!

:justice::justice::justice::justice::justice:

So happy to see the post about the signs. Hopefully they will be able to get the news there to cover it and make it an event the day they get them and hand them out. Off to email my favorite reporter <3

That's supposed to be a heart.. Posting from my phone at the mall LOL

What a fantastic idea. I hope someone manages to get hold of a picture - or better still, a local reporter goes out and gets one.

Maybe after the sign is designed it can go online? Then any people who don't have a garden could print it out and stick it in their window? Or their car.
