Here, it says there was blood in the master bathroom (could the master bedroom/bath be on the main floor???):
"Two “blood collections” were taken from the master bathroom."

BBM

Joe Mahoney identifies the master bedroom as being upstairs:

The spot remover, he said, was on top of a men’s dresser in the upstairs master bedroom of the home when police searched it on Dec. 18, 2012.

Julianne Peixoto identifies the bathroom where two areas of blood were found as being in the "downstairs bathroom." In the video at link below, JP again states areas of blood were found in "downstairs hallway" and "downstairs bathroom."

But as you noted, this from Ashley Babbitt today:

Items collected from the home included 13 “blood collections” from the home’s hallway on the main floor. Two “blood collections” were taken from the master bathroom. In addition, a hairbrush from the master bathroom was collected. Miller said a bottle of spot remover was collected from the dresser in the master bedroom. A light blue fitted sheet with stains was also collected from the home.

I'm probably wrong, but I believe the two areas of blood found are in the bathroom downstairs, meaning on the main floor and not in the upstairs master bathroom. We'll know Monday!

If she had been in the shower when attacked, don't believe she would have worn hoop earrings (I think she had non-pierced ears--or wore earrings for non-pierced ears). Or did he just grab them, too and toss them along with her body?

Stedman said investigators returned to the scene the following day, when a silver hoop earring believed to have been owned by the victim was located in the same area where the remains were found.

Will be interesting to hear Pros theory of where in home she was murdered.

"Andrew Tocheny of the New York State Police Computer Crime Unit also dispels Remy's statement to authorities testifying that Jennifer's cell phone linked to the Ramsaran's home wifi at 10:57 the morning of December 11th. Remy claimed that Jennifer left their home between 10 and 10:30 on the morning she disappeared."

Testimony: Husband had $200K policy on slain wife

Ganesh Ramsaran's only public comments about the life insurance came in interviews with The Daily Star in early 2013, a few months before he was indicted in May 2013.

The newspaper reported that Ramsaran initially declined to comment when asked if there was a life insurance policy on his wife. In a subsequent interview, he complained about how his refusal to discuss the matter was noted in a newspaper article.

"I've been totally open and honest with you from the beginning, and you've treated me like some nitwit," he was quoted as saying in the subsequent interview.

He also confirmed in the subsequent interview that he in fact did have a life insurance policy through his employer that covered both his wife and himself, one he said had been "taken out many, many years ago." He added that no changes had been made to it in recent years.

There is also what looks like a blood stain on the floor of the room with the new unpainted sheetrock wall. And the carpet in there was cut with another piece put in place. You can see the line where the cut was made. The red stain is in the upper left corner just under the furniture. There is also a garbage bag in there with some clothing in it and what looks like scrap papers. I have no idea what this room is since it doesnt show enough of it in the pic, but it looks like it was used mostly for storage or it may be a bedroom. In any event, it is a room on the top floor since there was a leak in the roof. You can see where there was water damage to the ceiling panels. It would be interesting to know when these pics were taken, if it was before or after the search was conducted by the investigators. I dont know if the real estate agent took the pics or if they were provided to her by GR.

The investigation was just about 5 or 6 days after Jen went missing in Dec. 2012. I believe the house was sold this past summer, so the real estate photos likely wouldn't have been taken until sometime this past year.

Need to go back and find the link to those photos

McBride is hoping to rest the prosecution case late Monday, with his final witness expected to be Chenango County Sheriff's Department Lt. Richard Cobb, who coordinated the investigation.

And...Garcia doesn't appear to have any witnesses...

So...does that mean the final wrap-up would be over next week? Maybe a verdict by end of week? I'd read in other media that the trial was expected to go into October, but there doesn't seem much left to do.

The house was sold? Does someone have any more details for this post? I'm not bugging her family with this question, but I was unaware. (There is no reason for me to know if the house was sold, outside of my own curiosity) :blushing: I don't believe it was sold.

Any estimate of the approximate age range of the majority of the jurors?

The 2 inch laceration on the sole of her one foot? What would be a possible explanation for how that occurred?

IF the murder occurred upstairs, and he poss threw or rolled the body from the top of the stairs...it's not that type of stairway, not steep, landing or platform after a couple of steps.

Where's that from? The areas of blood in the main floor hallway, though a dozen spots, must be small.
