I do not see anywhere in media reporting or comments from LE stating that an affair is "confirmed" therefore, I cannot comment.

The affair was actually confirmed by rickblaine, verified insider.

I must be drawing a blank, because this is the first I'm hearing of this. Perhaps you told *someone* else this? Maybe that's possible given how busy you are? Or, I just don't recall the conversation, otherwise I wouldn't have asked the question to begin with. My point was that scheduling such an event 3 weeks into the future doesn't sound like it's a pressing matter to GR. That's all.

RickBlaine, insider, has confirmed there was an affair, which ended in early December, shortly before Jennifer went missing. Are you saying you can't comment because the media nor LE has confirmed?

I was wondering, what are Jennifer's favourite stores/brands? I know it's late days, but in terms of getting the word out, and hoping someone knows something, maybe getting in touch with them on facebook and twitter would be helpful- often brands will happily help spread public interest messages (good PR for them, cynical as that is) and they usually have fairly significant followings.

I imagine the pain cuts just a tiny bit deeper IF knowledge about a SIL's recent affair, particularly if the relationship between in-laws had been solid, was discovered only after learning that one's daughter, a mother of three, has disappeared.

Additionally, what has been perceived by some as the husband's painting of his wife in a negative light to the public did not help.

Maybe a post saying this lovely lady who shopped in [name of store] (whichever branch was nearest, guess the New Hartford one for Joann/Michaels) is missing, nobody knows what happened but please spread the word and obviously if anyone saw her and has info they think might be helpful please call yadayada.

I think it has been asked before, but I don't recall the answer-
Has LE or family contacted any search organizations. Lost N Missing obviously, but I'm wondering about organizations that would specifically do physical searches for JR?
If not, why? I understand that Lavonda has stated they have no leads to areas that may need to be searched and that is why they are not searching. But in my limited experience, I don't think that alone is enough to refrain from contacting these organizations. They could probably offer some insight as to where to begin, if nothing else.

My organization does not do physical searches. If LE needs assistance with searches by professional SAR teams, we subcontract and bring them in if they do not have enough state police or professional search wardens to conduct the needed searches. Keep in mind sometimes LE may conduct searches that are not public knowledge. We have this happen in many cases. I've seen searches done and the family not be notified until after a search is conducted.

Yes. Hayes Office printed flyers of the Shining Hope Event. I know it sounds kind of silly to print posters of an event to get people to come to get posters to hang for a missing loved one, but it does work! It's the announcement of the event announcing to the public to please attend. I am attaching here ....if it's allowed? By the way, OT...but I saw a thread started with no posts on WS of missing posters. There were none so I added Jennifer's and a few others earlier this morning. I will try to add as many as possible as I can.

I know the trooper is a good friend of GR's but that's about all I know. I have no idea if or when he spoke with LE. One would certainly think so by now. Also not aware if he has spoken to anyone else about this case. I've heard nothing.

So this person is a current state trooper?

If I may make a suggestion, please. Not everyone has a Facebook page and can access Facebook so it lands on a "cannot get to site" page. The blue poster that is being tweeted does not have police contact information and it stops writing mid-stream. I would say to either tweet a missing poster that contains contact info to PD so everything they need is right in front of them. (You can use "tiny url" to shorten the link to the poster to save space in the link that you tweet so more are apt to retweet. You may want to put the poster on a photo share site so that a click will land direct to the poster. ) The less words you use, the more apt it will be retweeted. Twitter takes awhile to get used to but once you start and get all of their idiosyncrasies out of the way....it should start to spread like wildfire! We use:
