I'd imagine their relationship is not very solid. GR hasn't exactly been the shining example of a son in law. He cheated on Jennifer, intimated that she'd become less stable, stated that the children don't miss their mother of the last 6-9 months and worded it to appear like Jennifers father did not want to contact LE right away or alert the community/media.

Thanks, Sharononenta.
I had posed the question to RB, already knowing the answer, just so that we can discuss it here on WS, if we wanted to, and it not be considered rumor, since RB is a verified insider.

**********************

It very much bothers me that Jennifer's children could be used as pawns during such an awful time. They mean the world to them, and the kids need their grandparents, now more than ever. It would be selfish if GR refused them contact. Selfish, but not at all surprising, as in a narcissist's eyes, children are mere extensions of himself, rather than independent human beings. And they are often viewed as "owned" by a narcissistic parent. I'm NOT saying this is the case with GR, but what I am saying is that this is very often the case with people who have narcissistic personality disorder, which given the information we have here, appears to be the case.

RB: Do you know if GR is allowing contact between the children and grandparents? If the children want to go next door to see grandma and grandpa, are they allowed to? TIA. :)

My organization does not do physical searches. If LE needs assistance with searches by professional SAR teams, we subcontract and bring them in if they do not have enough state police or professional search wardens to conduct the needed searches. Keep in mind sometimes LE may conduct searches that are not public knowledge. We have this happen in many cases. I've seen searches done and the family not be notified until after a search is conducted.

I think I phrased my question poorly because it wasn't supposed to be directed at you specifically. I'd like anyone who knows the answer to respond.
I'm aware that your org doesn't do searches. That is why I said
Lost N Missing obviously, but I'm wondering about organizations that would specifically do physical searches for JR?
It is my understanding that JR's family (sister and parents?) have contacted CUE. But I'm wondering if GR has asked for help from any search organization, and if not then why?

Children and custody issues are very often big reasons for narcissistic injury.

In the divorce of my best friend that I've previously posted about his first comment regarding her asking for a separation was "I will take the children away from you"

Question for Lavanda and/or RB --

Were Jennifer's wedding rings found, and if so, where?

TIA.

Were ponds and lakes frozen over in early December?

No.

(I answered this with just "No." and an error message popped up saying "The message you entered is too short. So I just made it longer by posting this irrelevant information). :)

Just curious if that scared her enough to stay, Sharoneonta? Seems plausible to say that that's one reason why so many women stay in dysfunctional and abusive relationships. They believe it. I've heard what you mentioned so many times (professionally, not personally), and other things like "With what money will you use to hire an attorney?" and "I'll prove you're unfit because you see a therapist," and "I'll subpoena your medical records and prove that you're not physically fit," and other things along those lines.

:silly:

You are so cute!

Yes... I have found we need to post at least five figures... Numbers, letters, punctuation symbols... Etc.

Yes. And was even after...until a person posing as a private investigator for families of missing stepped into the family. (Via a FB posting to Jennifer's sister.) Of which it has been found since the person is not licensed nor skilled in the area of missing. LE is aware. GR is speaking with them about providing the family (of Jennifer) with a list of qualified/experienced licensed private investigators, willing to work pro-bono, that I am happy to provide them should their wishes be to continue forth with a private investigator.

Thanks.
Correct me if I'm wrong, I thought you had previously stated that you reached out to Jennifer's parents but did not get a response.

No! She had tons of support. Like I've said before he was all bark and no bite. He didn't even show up for the custody hearing.

Jennifer is listed on Cue's website but so are many others that they've not done searches for. Many times they are on sites for awareness purposes. Not all cases "qualify" a search. I do not know their involvement in Jennifer's case and can only go by rumor until they respond to my email inquiry as I've had others ask if they were going to do a search due to "announcement" posts that are being made on Jennifers "other" FB page. I do not see CUE making any annoucements. I also know they will not schedule to do a search unless LE authorizes one.

Thanks!

Do you know who set it up? Just wondering if they need any help with any of it. Jiillian, was it you?

I didn't personally set it up myself. The multimedia specialist from Help Find the Missing and Abducted did. If you have any pointers, sure ~ send them my way, as I see it only has a few followers. That said, I don't know when exactly it was set up, and personally know little about Twitter.

That is beyond awesome! (That his scare tactics didn't work I mean).
Him not showing up for custody hearing: "sometimes less is more!"

Thanks.

Yes. Incorrect. I spoke with Jennifer's dad and I believe it was on a Tuesday eve? We had a very good conversation. It was left that his wife, JR's mom, would contact me the next day. I never heard from her. That night (Wed) I learned of KR's involvement. After his talk with them, they never spoke to GR again.

Thanks, Sharononenta.

The children are not the focus of the disappearance of Jennifer. They have an excellent relationship with their grandparents and continue to have such. They live next door and go back and forth...even now. I believe RB stated the same a few days ago. GR's parents spent time visiting with them as well. Seems the only ones who are causing drama are "bloggers" and I can tell you that I am firm (as I told KR) that those children will NEVER be taken away from their grandparents as long as I have any "power of advice" and thus far GR is 100% in full agreement with me. Grandparents are in.

He knew he didn't have a leg to stand on. She was the bread winner. Everyone knew he was a hot head.

He was not the charming type.

Lavonda, to your knowledge has GR contacted ANY agency which performs physical searches? And if not, why?

Everyone please see the last comment on this post regarding GR's wedding bands and the bee stings:

https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=152680704887109&id=485680108145366

You need to read his full response to it on his FB page. Yes, his ring finger swelled and they cut it off, but he did get a replacement. His fingers were later injured and would swell off and on so his ring was worn around a chain on his neck and sometimes not...sometimes would wear it on his finger when it was not aggravating. My own husband does not wear a wedding band....never has. He hates the feeling of a ring on his finger...and doesn't wear a watch for the same reason.

With all due respect, I indicated the children were being visited by GR's parents as often as they could make the trip from downstate.

JR's parents also see the children, but not as often as they would like.
