I'd imagine their relationship is not very solid. GR hasn't exactly been the shining example of a son in law. He cheated on Jennifer, intimated that she'd become less stable, stated that the children don't miss their mother of the last 6-9 months and worded it to appear like Jennifers father did not want to contact LE right away or alert the community/media.
Thanks, Sharononenta.
I had posed the question to RB, already knowing the answer, just so that we can discuss it here on WS, if we wanted to, and it not be considered rumor, since RB is a verified insider.

It very much bothers me that Jennifer's children could be used as pawns during such an awful time. They mean the world to them, and the kids need their grandparents, now more than ever. It would be selfish if GR refused them contact. Selfish, but not at all surprising, as in a narcissist's eyes, children are mere extensions of himself, rather than independent human beings. And they are often viewed as "owned" by a narcissistic parent. I'm NOT saying this is the case with GR, but what I am saying is that this is very often the case with people who have narcissistic personality disorder, which given the information we have here, appears to be the case.
RB: Do you know if GR is allowing contact between the children and grandparents? If the children want to go next door to see grandma and grandpa, are they allowed to? TIA.
