BBM -- I 100% agree that this is what he meant. He was talking about his mindset, not the road where she was found. IMO.

I'm just not so certain that his mindset was that "he wasn't remotely thinking that she was dead" .... IMO

I've noticed it's been unusually quiet in here, especially amongst our regular posters. I hope that nobody is being discouraged by harassment of certain previous posters, public or otherwise. I also hope nobody is being encouraged to not speak out as voices of Jennifer by those outside this forum.
Please remember that Jennifer has no voice, we've all played a small part in helping her obtain one, (with large part credited to Mr Mahoney),please don't fall silent and let anyone stifle Jennifer's voice again.
JUSTICE FOR JENNIFER!

I couldn't agree more! People can't be afraid to post their opinions, if they are, then they are doing a disservice to Jennifer. Anyone who is discouraging your right to speak your mind must have something to hide. Jennifer needs your voice!

Can't be afraid of people who make idle threats .. we're protected here on WS ... don't let them stop our voices, they are the only voices Jen has

Do you have a link? I don't recall that. Maybe you're thinking of this?

"I can't wrap my head around it. That's not remotely where I have been these last two months or so," said Jennifer's husband Ganesh Remy Ramsaran.

http://centralny.ynn.com/content/to...ng-for-chenango-county-body-to-be-identified/

In this quote, he clearly seems to be saying "I haven't been remotely thinking she may be dead."

I read this clearly as "Wasn't me. Couldn't have been me. I wasn't even in the area" as an automatic preemptive defense. And the "last two months or so" - if it were me, I would know the exact number of days and my spouse was missing, not a vague round-about guesstimate.

Good points, SouthAussie!

Threats to posters on WS is not only a disservice to the missing persons/deceased that we strive to protect and for whom we strive to find justice...

But it undermines the right to find the TRUTH in any/all cases...

Attempting to stifle TRUTH through threats diminishes the power of what is good and just...

I'm just not so certain that his mindset was that "he wasn't remotely thinking that she was dead" .... IMO

His mindset at the time, what he was trying to say and the words he chose to express himself are three different issues. I do think that what he was trying to say was, pretty clearly, "That's not where my mind was at." Not "Oh gee, I haven't been anywhere near Center Road and definitely didn't dump any bodies there."

Did he unconsciously use words that betrayed a state of mind inconsistent with what he was trying to communicate? That's a good question.

It's the 27th article down from top in regards to shining hope event.

"...Gathering the public to assist is an ideal way of having more posters distributed in as many surrounding communities, as possible." Caron further explains, "This is also a wonderful opportunity for the media to come and talk with Jennifer's husband, Remy. He wants as many people as possible to know of Jennifer's disappearance in case they have information that may help lead to her. Remy and his children are holding strong and ask that if anyone has information, no matter how insignificant,..."

Jennifer's body was located in the Pharsalia Woods (the woodlands that encompass New Michigan, Pitcher Springs, Perkins Pond, and Pigeon Hill State Forests). In particular the New Michigan State Forest area.

http://www.cnyhiking.com/FLT-NewMichiganStateForest.htm

On the map on that website, the Plymouth Loop section of the Finger Lakes Trail crosses just south of the area where Jennifer's body was discovered (just East of Coy Street, along Center Road).

Here's a link for the Plymouth Loop itself:
http://www.cnyhiking.com/PlymouthLoop.htm

On that map if you were to go from Plymouth Lean-to and head on a bearing due north, heading towards Center Road, you'll pass over, or very near the spot where Jennifer's body was located.

Another thing to point out is at that lower part of that page, it calculates the distances between each of the points along the Plymouth Loop as being 6.8 miles.

6.8 miles isn't exactly, but is fairly close to being a quarter of a marathon distance which is approximately 6.6 miles. It'd be a good place to run if training for a cross-country marathon run, or a run in which there will be varying terrain and moving up and down heights.

:tyou: for the Plymouth Loop map and info!

I haven't posted a lot in here, but am a regular lurker. I know quite a few regulars are over in Travis Alexander's thread dealing with high blood pressure from that circus of a trial.

I am only here around 11:00 pm (my time) every night until my eyes can't handle it anymore. I am so glad that Jennifer has the few very loud voices shouting out for justice for her.

:clap::clap::clap::clap: I applaud you all!

Bear thoughts for today:
1.I don't like the roads in that area...pretty slick in places still...but many are now passable-just do it with care, and by no means alone....ever!!! Still searching for evidence.

2. After a great deal of experimenting with placing a body in a van, of approximate size and type of van, and JR...not really very easy...unless seat has been removed in center....but did fit also in boot/trunk? area but certainly not comfortable....do not try this at home please.:moo:

3.Received a message today, and will be turning the info the older couple have to share with law enforcement....just some details of a few days before...the important part is that...they contacted me after weeks...and it was due to having visited them...so please, don't be afraid to keep speaking out for Jennifer.:please:

4. I am not with any organization that deals with missing people...while I often assist, I am not an associate of either of the FB pages...my personal specialty is in suicide and domestic violence, and also with other work with grieving parents, and parents of children with special needs. My other affiliations are private...period.:twocents:

5. I leave you with a quote for Jennifer, and all who love her, and are fighting for her... "Forensics helps develop the facts of the case. But interviews and witnesses give you the conclusions of who did the crime.":rocker:WSer's rock!!!:rocker:

I guess I feel like I am kind of waiting to hear more from LE about how Jennifer died. I am really apprehensive that they won't be able to say for sure. While I feel she must have been murdered, it can be nearly impossible to have a successful prosecution without a firm cause of death, though not completely unheard of, probably.

Am hoping LE is playing a kind of game and has lots more than we know, but I tend to be cautious about optimism, as I have been disappointed in so many cases where I hoped silence meant more than it did.

I haven't got much to say :sigh:. I'm on a different time zone (i know there a few of us) and some nights I was up until 3-4 am...then dragging at 6 when I had to get up with my kids. Jen is never far from my mind though and now instead of up all night I am trying to pop in more when I have a few minutes throughout the day. I know it's quiet now... just waiting I guess not sure what more I can do right now :waiting:

Can somebody post a quick summary of the case, for any newbies dropping in, so they know what this is all about, and get interested enough to stay? I'd do it myself but I'd have to look everything up, because I don't have all the dates/facts in my head, and I have to work on Bob's website today.

BBM -- I 100% agree that this is what he meant. He was talking about his mindset, not the road where she was found. IMO.

I took it to mean the location where her body was found.

But you might be correct -- it's hard to tell, without having a full transcript of the interview -- and that's sometimes a problem with journalism; they kind of do a lot of cutting and pasting to fit into the article or 2 minutes of air time, but then you lose a lot of the original meaning.

But surely, if my spouse had gone missing for over 2 months, it would certainly pop into my head that he was likely dead. I might push the thought away in a sort of hopeful denial, but it would be lurking there in the back of my mind.
