Found Deceased NY - Joseph Comunale, 26, Manhattan, 12 Nov 2016 #1 *Arrests*

Maybe they watched Making a Murderer and knew that the Daisy Fuentes jeans played a key role in identifying that lady.

And yet they left the duffle bag behind - didn't attempt to burn or get rid of it at all. Guess they were pretty confident that they wouldn't get caught, and it didn't contain anything that could be linked back to JR .....not to mention a bag that size is probably recognizable on security film.

All of the evidence points to this being about drugs and/or money.

Literally one line in one news story suggested the sexual advance & rejection motive and everyone is obsessively focusing on that one line despite a lot of evidence and basic logic pointing away from the sexual motive.

The large safe removed from the apartment is literally a big piece of evidence that everyone is ignoring.

Can anyone identify one case in history that a gay man murdered a heterosexual man who rejected his sexual advances?

First thing that came to mind was the Jenny Jones murder, other way around of course, but sexual advances being rejected would not be unheard of when it comes to murder.

I was looking for venue information for the Gilded Lily. This is not to prove sexual orientation one way or another - just offering more possible insight. Where I live my friends and I have been known to frequent LGBQT clubs because the dancing is better.

About recent events in Jeffrey and James' relationship. Seems there were signs taht James hadn't let go of his past ways....

But it seemed to follow him, close friends say.

There were police stops for speeding and DWI, and then late night partying.

This summer, Rackover stayed in California on business and with friends. He left James behind, mostly in the Hamptons.

At summer's end, they decided it was time for James to move out.

They eyed a fourth-floor apartment in the Grand Sutton, but James could not get it because a background check revealed the extent of his criminal past. It surprised Rackover, and he was forced to rent the apartment for his 'son.'"

Timeline:

Saturday Night: Comunale meets Rackover and Dilione while partying at the Gilded Lily in New York City

Sunday, 4am: Comunale returns to Rackover's apartment with Dilione and three women.

Sunday, 6:30am: The three women leave the building.

Sunday, 7:30am: Comunale is seen on surveillance reentering the building.

Sunday evening: A man in Rackover's apartment calls to request a luggage cart. Soon after two men roll out two suitcases on the cart. Comunale's body is driven to New Jersey in a Mercedes Benz.

Tuesday, 8am: Comunale is reported missing by his father.

Wednesday morning: A man, possibly Rackover or Dilione, reveals the location of Comunale's body to police.

Wednesday afternoon: Comunale's body is found buried in a shallow grave on Oceanport, New Jersey, where Dilione grew up. Dilione's offices are just minutes from the wooded area. Dilione and Rackover are held by police.

Thursday afternoon: Rackover and Dilion are charged with murder. Judge sets bond at $3million each.

I've not read anything that states JC was heterosexual or homosexual. Conjecture has come from looking through his SM, because JC was very attractive yet there is minimal/next to no photos of him with women. So I think a lot of people do not believe JC to be heterosexual. I'm not disagreeing with you or anyone's statements, just trying to address the last part of your post. It's purely speculation however.

Well his friends disagree:

“He really took me under his wing, it was a major shift in my life,” said Lavertu. “He had a natural way with the ladies, really with everybody."

'Wheeled him out of the building? There was no body. 'There was no dolly. I was never even seen on camera with this kid. I have no idea who he is.
'I can’t explain what happened at all. I didn’t do anything.'

Rackover fiercely denies this, claiming: 'I have no reason to hurt this kid. I’ve never hurt anyone. I’ve never killed anyone. I didn’t do any of this.'

Rackover said his surrogate dad has not been to see him in jail. His only visitors have been a reporter and his lawyer.

“I don’t even think my dad wants to speak to me after this,” Rackover said. “He won’t want anything to do with me.”

He expressed sympathy for the victim’s family, as well as his own.

“I feel bad for this kid’s family and I feel bad for my own family. I feel terrible for putting them through this.”

The complaint also states that an unidentified witness saw Rackover place a duffel bag into the trunk of a black vehicle with tinted windows November 13. Investigators tracked a car the same night that was traveling to New Jersey and then back to Manhattan early on November 14. Surveillance footage showed Rackover driving what appeared to be a black Mercedes Benz into a garage near his home, parking and then leaving the garage.

Many have speculated that the two Ruckover men were gay lovers, and Jeffrey may have called James his son to keep it a secret.

Heavy spoke with an anonymous friend of Rackover, who said he saw no indication of the suspect being gay.

Though a motive has not been announced by authorities, sources said “Comunale rejected the advances of one of the men inside the apartment,” according to the Daily News.

A close friend of Comunale told Heavy he was not gay, and “definitely wouldn’t have played along.”
