I'm catching up on this story and have only made it to post 23 of this thread so if this has been address, so sorry.

I think JC was gay. What if LD and MG are also and are in a relationship? If one of them walked in on their partner with JC, that could evoke enough rage for this murder.

You are way off... Joey is not gay... I know a couple girls he was dating... LD and MG are roomates... best friends from Oceanport as well and live together in Jersey City... The only reportedly gay individual is Jeffrey Rackover who paid off James Rackover to be his "son" in other words his boy toy...

I've been quietly following this case. It reminds me of one locally from many years ago. Savino bashed in McWater's head, didn't believe he was dying or was going to die, so he then stabbed him with two different knives. Savino and McWaters were both from NY, and Savino had an extensive criminal past. McWaters took in Savino as a boy toy....which Savino did move to VA and lived with McWaters, but Savino wasn't actually a homosexual. He had met a girl he really liked. He brought the girl to the McWaters home and McWaters refused to let them sleep in the same room, and insisted Savino come to his room while she was there. Anyway....being from a small area, was the first this area had dealt with such, and was shocking to the entire community. The case has stuck in my head all these years later. Savino was excuted in 1996.

I don't think he was gay, I think that they were up all night drinking and /or recreational drug use and were not thinking rationally whenever the argument ensued. The argument could have been over anything, after being up all night doing cocaine.

I mentioned that I was having editing issue and tried the texting to myself thing, but that ended up not working with very long posts, so I decided to try a new keyboard and discovered this little gem.

I think it is good that LE has kept their investigation quiet so far. The defense will not be able to cite prejudicial pretrial evidence and I think the result will let the facts determine innocence or guilt. I'm looking forward to gaining more pieces to the puzzle, for instance phone records, security tapes, interviews with the girls, toxicology. There was a lure of something to get Joey back into the building at 7:30 am. It is too bad that he didn't leave with the girls at 6:30.

All things are quiet on the news front, but you know many people are simmering and boiling behind the scenes. It's affected many lives.

I also think they realize that the reports don't match and maybe James lawyer is deciding to fight for James, even though I think initially he was being paid by Jeffrey.

He may have decided to do it pro bono for the exposure and because if it's an attempted frame job, it would be extremely lucrative in the end for both he and James imo

I think the phrased it as "pants that they believed to Joey's".It was in the early stages of rejected sexual advance, 3 girls, Gilded Lily changed to 1OAK and the odd blurtng out of Joey had no pants on.

When they stated he was dismembered and burned (but just his legs) which changed to partially burned in suitcase with accelerant (gas) nearby, but still only partially burned.

I've been thinking about Joey going back To James' apartment on sunday morning, trying to figure out why he didn't leave when the girls left. There are MTA trains to Stamford around 5:30 am and every hour thereafter, so, catching a train was not the issue.

I believe Joey was friends with some/all of the people at James' apartment and felt comfortable staying with them. Little did he know...

Regarding the slow pace of justice, LE in the Theresa Sievers case provided very little evidence to the public as the case progressed and Mark Sievers was a free man for some time after the crime was committed. Here's to hoping that justice for Joey will be delivered sooner. Once a perp is charged with murder, they can be picked up at any time, can't they?

"Prosecutors told Rackover he could plead guilty to the top charge of driving without a license and pay a $500 fine, but his lawyer insisted on a trial date."
