The cause of death was determined to be multiple stab wounds to the torso.

donna - i read it as JR was the first uncooperative arrestee.... might he have been taken in twice? first on driving - ror - then again for JCs disappearance/murder ? just a thought. here's some details from news - as for the specifics about # of stabs, location of clothing, materials found in ocean port - i tend to consider the direct quotes from the police (i.e. boyce) as more credible and consistent than unsourced / unnamed quotes that we find a lot in most articles...

@TeenaNJ Thanks..This is how I computed the mish-mash of all that I've read and heard from day 1.

Going back to Pat C and him saying he helped with the video evidence and them saying they had Dilione on tape in basement.I took that to mean they hauled him in first, leading him to confess where Joey was. I Don't think there was any mention of James at that point.

They tormented the crap out of him and supposedly Gemma chimed in about knowing where the body was. They then figured out Gemma had people in VERY high places and decided to cut Dilione a deal if he agreed to leave Gemma out of it, just until they could pin it all on James, of course

That's when all he'll broke loose and Gemma was removed from the initial script and then enter James.

Then they started with the confession being obtained illegally, laying the ground work to release Dilione on a technicality.

I still think he was chopped up and thrown down the garbage chute. There may have been 2 suitcases and a duffel bag. The sheets and clothes were in the garbage bags, I think we know that much.He may have had just his legs burned because they were in a separate suitcase.

I also think they brought all evidence to the burial spot, because why wouldn't they If Dilione took the time to drag them out of the building.

I still think the whole thing happened in Jeffreys apt, hence the removal of the safe(remember how hush hush that was) and him moving out. They supposedly used his car or Diliones.

I can't shake James statements of not knowing though. His bewildered look and him not being in on the confession. If he was on the tape they would have rounded him up the same time as Dilione.. Jmoo
 
They must have put the video footage right in their faces. No one confesses to murder unless they are 100% busted with proof.

It was Dilione and Gemma who confessed. I also find it hard to believe that Jeffrey would want to be left out.

Could Joey have gone there to see Jeffrey? A dalliance behind James back, where he could have been in his own apt oblivious to all happenings upstairs?

Do we honestly believe there were any girls at this soiree? I do not. moo.

Why would everyone cram into James one bedroom? James must like to entertain if he had 3 bedrooms. So if he was really downstairs, he is telling the truth.

Jeffrey was probably wigging out leading him to go get the dog and chill with James. They slipped up and said the 13th about watching TV.

He probably left the mess to Gemma and Dilione.. This is adding up a lot more than the other way. Jmoo..

<modsnip> I see that you joined in 2015. Have you followed other murder cases from the beginning - the MSM ALWAYS, I mean ALWAYS, have incorrect information from the beginning, and then when items come out with LE, they sometimes continue to report "mis-information", but get up to speed as time passes. I've seen this in many cases here.
I really don't believe there is a conspiracy to keep this case unwraps; just need to wait until the trial dates to get "new" information about this!

I would take anything Bo Dietl says with a grain of salt.

What an interesting case this is.
 
Rats, I publised a post and then tried to edit and it was deleted.

The gist was, just be patient, these cases can take a long time to come to trial, when all the information will be released.

I wanted to add, the Dan Markel case was 2 years of silence before arrests were made, and first info was released. Many similar cases on here. When a case goes quiet I follow something else.

Those are encouraging words, but IMO, there's a little reason to be concerned in this case. The perps and their associates are very wealthy, powerful people. The "father" of one of the accused has extremely powerful friends, including the president-elect of the US. Not to say the latter would I interfere in the case, but people who want to curry favor with these powerful friends may do so.

We've seen similar cases go cold in the past or get swept under the rug through prosecution of minor charges.
 
@Niner I have read here for years but this is the first case I've been really into, mostly because of who some of the key players "friends" are. The blatant inconsistencies are astounding to me.

I was following the Casey Anthony trial for a long time. The news and updates were consistent. I hope there are enough brave and vocal people paying attention to this and are powerful enough to call BS when the court dates roll around.

@Betty P I agree about Bo Dietl. Earlier in this thread we were discussing the Mercedes and someone (sorry can't remember) pulled Dilione's vehicle record and discovered he also has a Mercedes.

I felt from the beginning that Dilione was also held on driving with no DL. Jeffrey may not even own a Mercedes, which now I believe is the case. This is actually a HUGE discovey imo because it's a bold faced lie in order to make James look more guilty.

@Satchie I have no luck with trying to edit my posts. My keyboard freezes and it doesn't work out at all. I now email myself when finished and work on it as a draft to add links and things to it. The Casey Anthony case was in Florida, and that sad excuse of a person should have been found guilty! IMO too much info was made available to the public which again MOO created problems with jury selection. At the end of the day completely different case from what we are discussing here. I believe the NYPD is protecting the integrity of the case and like previous posters have said more facts will come to light as the case goes forward.

If there's nothing to report, there's nothing to report. Plain and simple.

I'm really having a hard time keeping up with exactly what you think transpired that night or the "conspiracy" that is going on. I say this because many of your posts/theories go against what reputable sources(i.e. LE, assistant district attorney) have said or indicated in the complaints.

You could very well be onto something but to dissect news reports and to go against what's been presented as facts is just a bit out of the norm for me. In response to another post of yours I'm a NYer and have no problem waiting for the NYPD to build a solid case, and I don't feel the public is owed anything. They have the key players so to me there is no threat. I'm more concerned about justice for Joeys family and friends! In due time I believe and hope that will happen.

Might of rambled on a bit there but I'm in need of another cup of coffee [emoji6]
 
The NY investigators are pros. So is Joey's father. The deal, imo, is to keep the evidence quiet until it comes to trial. The prosecutors are protecting their case and do not want to be accused of pretrial prejudicial information being leaked to the public. Patsy C. is probably being kept in the loop, being updated regarding evidence and suspects. He is no slouch, he is president of a major security firm. He is friendly with law enforcement and the courts. He has shut off his comments to the press also, we used to see a lot of him but no more. This is being handled very skillfully. Rackover's business dealings with Trump are irrelevant. Rackover is NOT high society being protected, he is a jewelry salesman. This silence benefits him in the short term but down the road there will be no protection from the truth. Bo Dietl is providing some spin but good advice not to believe anything he says at this point.
 
Florida laws require evidence against an accused to be released quickly, not so in most othèr states.
