If Larry is gonna spill the beans, why not confess to where the knife is so it can be tested for fingerprints?

From what I understand, cause of death was multiple stab wounds.

So did Larry simply watch James drag JC to the bathtub, or did he help James drag or lift him into it?

James stabbed JC in the head, and Larry wasn't running the hell out of the one-bedroom in fear for his own life?

No, he cleans up, skulks around the basement of the bldg and later jumps into the elder JR's vehicle with the body, helps set JC on fire in an isolated area of NJ while all alone with the Crazed and Mad James...all over cigarettes (and of course, bc he was alcohol & cocaine-fueled).

I've heard more believable stories from middle-schoolers

Larry thought if he told NYPD where the body was located, he'd be free of the murder charge...I hope he eventually will be charged with murder.

IMO Both Larry and James will be charged with Joey's murder. Gemma is a wild card, for now.

How was his pelvis broken?

No mention of the window scenario today which I have always found very implausible

I'm wondering how Gemma's lawyer got hold of these documents, and what his strategy is in releasing them, except to try to blow up the case and hope he can smuggle out his client in the confusion.

Pat C has seen the tapes. He's tracked all of their steps. He's knows which apt they were really in, who was where and when. Remember, he is a security expert who installed the system, thank God!

He might be hesitant to air all the unpleasant facts of this case but if the right people aren't punished, I feel we will see a raging bull unleashed, and rightfully so.

Not to mention the cavalcade of friends and family that will stand behind him when he is ready to blow a gasket on this injustice. I can't wait!

Why are we always reminded who Jeffrey's friends are? It has such arrogant undertones, especially mentioned in the two, hand selected news publications of their choice.

Why should any of that even be mentioned or matter in this horrific explanation of Joey's death. it's as if they are saying tough crap to all who don't like it.

Gemma's lawyers words were meant to confuse, almost gibberish. How long are they allowed to remain free? O

:jail: That's where they can keep them all. Anyone with knowledge before, during or after need to be in prison for life. I certainly don't want the likes of any of them walking the streets anywhere near me.
No matter what the motive was, a gang decided to kill an unarmed, defenseless man, and decided to try to cut his body up with a knife. A knife I might add that is typically used to cut BREAD! Just sickening. All of them. Evil as the devil himself.

IMO, Max is more involved then the reports so far. I feel Larry's confession is ********. He and Max have been out on bail long enough to concoct a new story that matches. James is not from the area the body was found. Whose idea was that coverup??? What was going on when Sr, Rackover went to walk the dog? I have to wonder if James would be so stupid to throw evidence down his own garbage shoot. I think they are al liars in some way, but IMO the one that confessed has the guilty conscience.

@2hope4 I look at like a gang hit also at times. If they got there at 5 and Gemma left at around 8 he must have been dead in under maybe 2 hours or less.

Why would "whomever" overkill him like that? It seems planned, like the knocking out and dragging him to the bathroom to bleed out. Someone there really hated him and just wanted the satisfaction of plunging the knife into his chest. Someone Jealous..

Total and complete liars. Sociopaths really, for the ability to blatantly tell one lie and turn around and tell another that contradicts their first statements and think somehow, it won't look suspicious. Or speak those lies with a face that expresses sadness and pity, knowing deep down you did in fact contribute to the murder of his young man. JR is quoted as never having even seen or been on camera with JC... LD telling a police officer he never saw Joey again after they walked the girls out.. I mean come on guys, did you really think you'd get away with making those statements in the first place???

Now, I'm not at all surprised at how badly they attempted to cover up the crime. IMO, before I thought.... 'who can be that stupid?' To be so careless... or I had a hard time thinking JR was that stupid to throw away everything he'd done for himself in New York (and by done for himself, I mean the effort that went into fooling the elder Rackover and seeking a close relationship with him, whatever the extent of that relationship was), but it's true... The argument, the level of violence described, the way in which they tried to cover it up, the blatant lies... all logic goes out the window for me... anything is possible at this point if the way MSM is describing the suspects is true. It's like trying to attach reason to how Charles Manson justified his crimes (not Charles Manson specifically, obviously, just an example).

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if somehow the defense tried to play the mental instability card at some point down the line if they got desperate (JRs team actually). I don't know any normal individuals who would behave the way LD and JR did before, during and after, if what the articles are saying are true.

Are there some secret documents I haven't heard about? I just figured out why they are only using 2 news outlets.. To synchronize and control what is doled out to the public in a slow trickle so what happened the first time doesn't happen again.

Still don't know what tactics they used to achieve this. A country wide memo? and from whom?

We still have the first statements and quotes FROM LAW ENFORCEMENT. about evidentiary findings at Sutton and gravesite .

Dilione might have spewed a bunch of BS but how can they back peddle on the suitcases, duffel bags, burning and all the rest of the initial statements... They can't!

IMO, I don't think there really is a Jersey City address. No one has been able to come up with it since the beginning.

I also don't think Dilione had access to his family home in Oceanport, his family is in Florida. There was a NY address found for Gemma early on IIRC (don't have link) could that have been Sutton Place?

Anyway, what evidence would they have brought back there? The bloody sheets and clothes?

Now they are saying Joey's black quilted jacket and jeans were cut up. Could this have happened when he was being dismembered? That would mean his pants were ON when killed.

If it turns out he was dismembered, what disgusting statement about his pants being OFF.

I don't believe he was ever thrown from the window. That was all a show for the press when they were discovering evidence with flashlights OUTSIDE the building. All to divert what they already knew about trash chute and basement footage.

The broken pelvis probably came from the trash chute being dropped from the 4th or 32nd floor.

I think they may have couch surfed and stayed at James apt frequently. I think Dilione crashed at his office. It looks like there are rooms in the back.

I find Gemma's lawyer, Bederow, annoying. The wannabe wordsmith is a smoke screen for really saying nothing at all.

“the product of spillover prejudice"

"damning evidence combined with conjecture that he was complicit"

And this on the possibly nonexistent Jersey City apt that DAs office couldn't even find an address for:

“During these nine days, Mr. Gemma knew he was under investigation and had unfettered access to the target premises,"

Target premises? Unfettered.. Just aggravating me for some reason.

Your client was there, in what capacity no one knows yet. Hash it out in court and Tell it to the JUDGE! Sheesh, who do these people think they are?

In the motion, Bederow says prosecutors have no evidence Gemma took part in Comunale’s murder, claiming instead that “Dilione admitted to assaulting Mr. Comunale to the point of unconsciousness after an argument over cigarettes.”
The motion states that Rackover, who lived at the 59th Street luxury apartment where authorities say Comunale was killed, was afraid of being arrested and said, “We have to kill him.”

The murder of a former Westhill High School standout athlete began over a cigarette and ended with his killer carving up his body in a bathtub, the New York Daily News has reported.

...

Comunale, 26, was beaten unconscious after a night of cocaine and boozing, then viciously pummeled and kicked while helpless, according to a statement by suspected co-conspirator Lawrence Dilione.

Gee did they think they wouldn't get arrested for killing him?!?!? I wish they would of just left him unconcsious. He would of still been here today. I also wish none of that happened at all.

The adopted son of celebrity Manhattan jeweler Jeffrey Rackover viciously murdered a Connecticut man before crudely trying to dismember him — all because he didn’t want to go back to prison, according to stunning court papers filed Tuesday in the case.
[.....]
Mr. Dilione admitted assaulting Mr. Comunale to the point of unconsciousness after an argument over cigarettes,” wrote defense lawyer Mark Bederow in a motion to dismiss the indictment against co-defendant Max Gemma.
[....]
“According to Dilione, Rackover then viciously kicked and beat the defenseless Mr. Comunale. After realizing Mr. Comunale was severely injured, Rackover, fearing arrest, stated, ‘we have to kill him,'” papers state.

Some how this doesn't make sense - re bold. If Dilione beat Joey unconscious, HOW would James be responsible for that to go to prison??? Had he not kicked & beat and stabbed him, then no problem, they could have just called 911 at that point... unbelievable...

All sweet James (actually Larry) did was beat JC into Unconsciousness. Then, did nothing to prevent the supposed further violence inflicted upon JC. How about run from the apt and call 911 while only James is supposedly moving JC into the bathtub, etc?

Totally agree! He (Larry) should have done something besides watch James become so violent!!

Just disgusting.... all of them should be in :jail:

Next up on January 24th - James.

:judge:

JUSTICE for JOEY!
