In regards to Bo Dietl, everything he said came from the horse's mouth, Jeffrey. I guess they are debating whether his Mercedes being involved will help or hinder the rap being placed on James.

How is there any confusion if the tags were ran going through the toll? That's one of the inconsistencies that give me pause in this case.

Another example, he was "chopped" in initial reports, yet later changed to he wasn't. He was doused with gasoline and lit on fire, but just his legs. These statements came directly from law enforcement.

There were probably thirty CSI and other law enforcement at burial site. They couldn't seem to pin down the facts about the suitcase or bloody sheets.. As I pointed out the inconsistencies.

With all due respect to the honest men and women in LE, I don't see the silence as integrity, I see it as they've flip flopped so much they're afraid to speak. Imoo

@Lawdini1234 I respect and understand how you're having a hard time wrapping your brain around possible shady things going on, because I am also.

As far as the Casey Anthony trial, I was just answering @Niners question about other cases I've followed. These cases aren't similar at all because there was a natural interest and frenzy between the public and MSM in the Anthony case. There was communication..It was pretty much the norm.

The silence in this case is deafening.

And suspicious imo Only the NY Post thought this was news worthy, no one else on the planet?? Yeah, Ok and if you try Googling the Jan case, nothing comes up.. Oh, that's just good strategic police work. They'll just shut down the internet for a few weeks. Way to go boys!

I was wondering how, in a case this sensational, you could say there would be nothing to report?? They couldn't shut up in the beginning, speculating that it was a sex crime and Joey's pants were removed and now *crickets* WHY??

The NY investigators are pros. So is Joey's father. The deal, imo, is to keep the evidence quiet until it comes to trial. The prosecutors are protecting their case and do not want to be accused of pretrial prejudicial information being leaked to the public. Patsy C. is probably being kept in the loop, being updated regarding evidence and suspects. He is no slouch, he is president of a major security firm. He is friendly with law enforcement and the courts. He has shut off his comments to the press also, we used to see a lot of him but no more. This is being handled very skillfully. Rackover's business dealings with Trump are irrelevant. Rackover is NOT high society being protected, he is a jewelry salesman. This silence benefits him in the short term but down the road there will be no protection from the truth. Bo Dietl is providing some spin but good advice not to believe anything he says at this point.

In the Theresa Sievers case, evidence was not released quickly. Mark was not charged for many months after the crime and was living at home with his daughters (probably being closely monitored). None of the evidence was made public until the indictments came down.

I can imagine a few reasons for taking it off the market, one being that there is enough going on in his life right now. Moving can be a stress. And, he might not be finding a buyer....but he wasn't finding a buyer before all of this happened either.

Can someone remind me if James was subletting the 4th floor apartment from another owner, or did Jeffrey purchase it for him?

Luxury real estate was slow in NYC this year. I, also, can see him taking it off the market to avoid gawkers.

@inthedetails - i believe Jeffrey's apt was put on the market at the end of summer (early fall) right after he moved James out into his own apt on 4th floor. I remember looking into that and it led me to speculate that he wasn't happy with the set up and was possibly "strongly" coerced into the situation and that leading him to animosity towards James. Imoo

We all want justice, and I agree with keeping the pressure on. I think we need to be careful drawing conclusions about Google or law enforcement...let's have faith that justice will be served. The tragedy is awful enough without imagining that there's a massive cover up going on.

Yes, sorry, when I wrote that evidence against an 'accused' has to be released quickly in Florida, I meant someone formally charged with a crime.

Seems to me another consequence of Florida’s Sunshine law is that, when the evidence against the hit men was released shortly after they were charged, it revealed the LE theory that Mark Sievers had hired them, tho there wasn’t enough evidence to charge him.

I don’t believe that situation would ever occur in other jurisdictions like New York. If there were suspicions (just as an example) that others are involved in this case, LE will not reveal that to the press.

that'd be great.

I'm seeing a lot of "Justice For Joey" statements and calling the police work strategic and thorough, yet no one is pointing out the changing statements. (except me)

Imo, the facts are in, most of them anyway, yet we are being kept in the dark. I know all states are different but to not even be able to Google James court date on the the day of it is very weird. We should at least be able to follow that portion of the case.. Imo
