Leandra Feliz says her son, also known as Junior, left their apartment to lend someone five dollars but never came back.

“I called him because I feel like ‘you take too long. I said come on, come on’,” the teen’s mother told CBS2. “He said ‘oh yeah mommy, it’s okay I give him the five dollars, it’s okay I’m coming home’.”

Surveillance video shows the suspects enter the bodega at Bathgate Avenue and East 183rd Street, where police say they dragged Lesandro onto the street. The video then shows a man with what appears to be a large knife enter the mix.

He’s one of at least five men police are looking for after they say Lesandro was stabbed repeatedly in the neck.

The teen managed to run to Saint Barnabas Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

I was of the opinion that this heinous atrocity seemed more like a 'gang initiation' and not so much a case of mistaken identity over a leaked tape .....
As if the perps are pretending , "...oops, wrong person.... we didn't mean to do it."
Just not really buying their defense at all.
Hope every day for the rest of their pathetic lives are spent behind bars and in fear.

There is a lot in this case, if one were to dig around. 1) the victim was not the intended person the gang wanted to attack. 2) a girl in NYPD protection right now, pointed out Guzman-Feliz to protect that individual. 3) a sex tape from Snapchat leaked online, of the girl, and the person the gang originally sent out to attack. 4) there are reports that the girl is filing a sexual assault charge on the person from the sex tape.

My question is why, point out Guzman-Feliz of all people?
Who is this girl and the guy in the leaked sex tape?
And is there more we don’t know about?

I hope the Guzman-Feliz, family is doing the best they can for each other, and getting through this rough time.

"A ruthless gang leader who cops say ordered the mistaken-identity knife-and-machete slaying of an innocent Bronx teen was hauled into a Bronx courtroom along with an accused accomplice Wednesday.

Suspected ringleader Diego Suero, 29, and his alleged cohort, Gabriel Ramirez Concepcion, 26, are the ninth and 10th men busted in the execution of Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz. Both were ordered held without bail....

The eight men already in custody for the caught-on-camera slaying have been moved out of general population due to death threats, law-enforcement sources told The Post.

"NEW YORK — A new legislation inspired by the killing of Lesandro "Junior" Guzman-Feliz was announced Tuesday with the aim of protecting children from gang and other forms of violence.

The proposed Safe Havens for Endangered Children legislations, also known as "Junior's Law," would require that all small businesses be a safe haven for minors who are in danger or seek help. It was introduced by Sen. Luis Sepúlveda and Assemblyman Victor Pichardo.

"From this tragedy, we will bring about positive changes," Sepúlveda said.

The legislation aims to prevent another instance of violence like that which killed Guzman-Feliz on June 20...."

"Federal prosecutors are fighting to make sure a Trinitarios gang member stays locked up while awaiting trial on charges related to a broad-daylight beatdown linked to the murder of Bronx teen Lesandro (Junior) Guzman-Feliz.

Ramon Paulino, 21, is accused of bashing a 14-year-old boy with a log in the median of the Bronx River Parkway on June 18. Video shows 11 others joined Paulino in the vicious attack that left the young victim with stab wounds so severe he went into cardiac arrest. The teen barely survived.

“The attack on this child was brazen — committed in broad daylight, on the median strip of a busy parkway — and the evidence against Paulino is overwhelming,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Sarah Mortazavi wrote to the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in papers filed earlier this month.

“The defendant is a significant flight risk and he poses a danger to the community.”..."
