I agree. I am looking for a map as we speak and am having a hard time sifting thru all the posts. I would go as far as to say only info released by LE pertaining to the GB4 only. The reason for this is that MSM is more confused than anyone.
I will be doing a virtual drive by of the sites using google street view. I am hoping to find some sort of markers. Natural or man made. I also want to see how far down the road I can see in either direction. Then factor in night time, (car headlights). Then hope to gather how much time he had to discard the bodies.

The problem with that, is that we would then have to exclude alot of valuable information we've learned about the G4. Remove msm reports, and you remove the fact that ALC was offered a large sum of money to meet her last known client, the fact that she agreed to leave the house without her cellphone, the description of the clothing she was last seen wearing, etc. etc. Same goes for the details of the phone calls to MB's sister, the fact that she too had been secretive about her last known appointment, and so on and so forth. Those details are too important to remove, imo. I would be fine with msm reports being included (with sources linked), if what we are trying to accomplish is filtering fact from speculation and theory in order to have a clean slate with which to review just the facts.

On the other hand, if what you are interested in is mapping, we already have a separate thread for that. I seldom find that thread helpful, because many of the maps include numerous murders that have occurred in the area. Too confusing for this girl. But, that's just me.

IMO rehashing this case one more time would be counterproductive. All the facts we have are in these threads if one has the patience and interest to read through them. This case seems to be growing cold. The biggest problem we have is the amount of information that LE is withholding. We can speculate 24/7, but without the release of the 911 call and other information such as the phone records, the police report of the woman who got away, the identity of the other victims, at this point we are just spinning our wheels. And as time goes by the more speculation creeps into the discussion, the more comments by people who do not know the facts we have and do not want to bother reading up on the case. I think we will just have to wait until something happens or LE releases more information.

LOL, I editted because I forgot we even HAD a map thread. That's how seldom I use it. Which is a shame, because I'm a mapper by nature. I just can't focus my thoughts when looking at maps full of random murders that probably aren't even connected. My brain just doesn't work like that.

But anyway, the fact that you can't find a map you're looking for in the map section just illustrates to me how disorganized we've all become. Why have threads for separate topics if everything is just going to be posted in this thread? Kinda frustrating, imo.

A timeline for CHP? A timeline for the AC murders? This case is very complex and I don't believe we can connect the dots into a single timeline. I believe we do have a list of all the murders and inidentified remains on Long Island going back to the 90's.

Just want to say that I am so glad that this thread is still active and you guys are still working all of the various possibilities of this case. Nugzter had said that we should only rely on comments from LE to keep things on task.... I guess I sort of have an issue with that because I sort of don't trust the information from LE at this point in time. Sorry if that offends anyone, but IMHO LE has dropped the ball in this case. They have been very secretive in their information, and they have done NOTHING to keep the case in the spotlight. We still have heard NOTHING about the unidentified bodies!!! WHY?? I am beyond frustrated with this lack of information!!!!

Can anyone help identify what these circles are or guess as to what might cause them? could it be something as simple as pooling salt water? Are there utility workers doing any work underground in that area?
The circles are clear and visible from the google maps images... they may not exist anymore. They seem to be about the size of a small car, and too perfectly round to be natural in my opinion. Possibly they are dug out areas so that if the mosquito canals overflow, the runoff is caught in these basins?

maybe I'll have to suit up and go check them out first hand if they still exist.

For me, it's not that I don't trust the information we get from LE, it's that we get so LITTLE information from them. If we were to exclude information gathered from other sources, we'd have next to nothing to go on.

I do think that we've wandered on to some pretty shaky ground in this case, though. Lots of digging into Manorville, numerous other unidentifified bodies, alot of focus on SG (which is fine, of course, but we really can't say with any certainty that SG is connected to the GB4). Like Nugzter, I am begining to feel that we haven't sleuthed all possible avenues on the GB4, because we've spread ourselves so thin going in so many different directions. That's just me, mind you. I'm certainly not suggesting that anyone else take a different approach than they have been. I just think it's time for me to narrow MY focus on this case alittle. Plus, there is some organizational type work that could be done on this case to make it easier for everyone to access whatever information they're trying to find. Since we don't have any new info at this point, I'm going to spend some time and energy on those things.

Sometimes it is good to have such a thread for quick reference. Especially when there is so much information/speculation and it is hard to keep it all straight.

Although I haven't been posting here, I still think about this oven roasted nut whom I personally refer to as the Massapequa Murderer. I don't know, LE should release some more information. BTK could have been apprehended sooner had they released his 911 call to the public along with other direct information about him. Generating the assistance of the public was a strong recommendation set forth by John Douglas when trying to capture these walking sesspools. Social media and this website in particular is a very powerful tool and LE really should take advantage of it. It upsets me to know that there is a well-to-do married man with children who is committing the most atrocious and egregious acts against human beings and nobody knows. He has a position where he supervises others...and nobody knows. He has siblings, aunts, uncles, in-laws, neighbors, he is friends with other parents....and nobody knows. His wife has seen some red flags but she just doesn't know they are red flags...yet. Something has got to be done so that one day (and hopefully soon and not 20 years from now like the Green River Killer)we all will know.

Fifth Squad detectives are looking for an armed man who sexually assaulted a woman Sunday morning on a Fire Island beach, Suffolk County police said.

Officers responded to a call after witnesses in Cherry Grove reported a woman screaming for help at about 5:20 a.m., police said.

The woman told police a man armed with a silver handgun sexually assaulted and beat her on the ocean side of the community.
