Ashley, Did they show any clothing or jewelry? No pressure here, I know your signal was choppy.

sorry, woman found in nassau, and child found in suffolk are related, trying to sort through this all for you...

he is also talking about remains being related to remains found off fire island being related to the suffolk case. anyone know what he's referring to?

woman and child both found in nassau are related. they suspect them to be mother and child

and jewelry was found on both of which they provided pictures...

I thought the toddler was found in Suffolk near the GB4?

WM, they showed jewelry...

also said the fact that the male was dressed in women's clothing could be significant/cause someone to come forward

they showed pictures of jewelry, a necklace, hoop earrings and bracelets, all found on the mother and child, i believe.

no clothing, but they showed a sketch of the asian male

he also confirmed that "there is a possibility" that all the bodies are connected...

I am really starting to think all these murders are connected... and I have a horribly eerie feeling right now... jmo.

yes, im sorry svper, i mis-quoted. typing too quick. to reiterate...the woman found in nassau and the toddler are said to most likely be mother and child

Newsday Article.

"The Suffolk police commissioner released composite drawings Tuesday of unidentified victims whose remains have been found along Ocean Parkway.

Suffolk County Police Commissioner Richard Dormer held a media briefing regarding the investigation at 11 a.m. at Suffolk County Police Headquarters in Yaphank.

Dormer unveiled images of what the victims may have looked like. He also showed photos of jewelry and clothing found near the remains, and asked for the public's help to try and identify the victims.

Massive searches of the area near Gilgo Beach during the past 10 months have yielded the remains of at least 10 people.

Five who have not been identified include:

A woman whose body parts were found in Manorville in November 2000 and Ocean Parkway in April.

A girl believed to be between 18-24 months old whose skeletal remains were found wrapped in a blanket in April.

A young man whose remains showed signs of trauma and whose body was discovered in April.

Two other sets of remains found in April near Jones Beach in Nassau County.

The remains of Megan Waterman, 22, of Scarborough, Maine; Melissa Barthelemy, 24, of the Bronx; Maureen Brainard-Barnes, 25, of Norwich, Conn., and Amber Costello, 27, of North Babylon were found last December wrapped in burlap and dumped near Ocean Parkway.

All four had worked as prostitutes, police said.

The search for another woman, Shannan Gilbert, 24, who was reported missing in the area, prompted the discovery of the four women. She has not been found.

Authorities have since found the remains, some dismembered or incomplete, of six other people, although their deaths are not believed to be associated with the four found in December. One was identified as Jessica Taylor, 20, of Manorville."

I will be posting soon about the number of women who had their leg or legs cut off and discarded in a distinctly different location than their torso? 2 pairs of legs went in the water.
Also of interest, none of the men had their leg or legs removed, only the women, which tells me that it isn't simply to prevent identification.

I can't help but say their is more to removing of the leg or legs than hiding identity. Why cut off their leg or legs? Was a woman responsible for the suspect losing his leg?

Thanks for the link nurse!

This tidbit reminds me of JB's comment that he thought SG was a man!

MOO of course....

wm

yes it does, where did that comment come from though as I don't remember and question whether that source was credible. was it LISK website hearsay?

I strongly believe they are all connected, thanks to those who are providing info...something keeps coming popping up to me, remember when SG asked Brewer about transsexuals, and he sort of freaked? I still don't believe Brewer is the SK, but now the male was found wearing woman's clothes, is like everything else in this, strange, oddly connected. I am starting to believe this case will pick up momentum quickly and hopefully we will learn more.

there was more added to the newsday article...

Snipped...

"He said police believed the Asian male might have been the remains of a missing Nassau resident, but learned those remains were "not him."

The toddler is believed to be that of a child between the ages of 16 and 32 months, Dormer said. Forensic analysis determined the child is non-Caucasian, but Dormer said there is no known connection between that child and another body found about 50 feet away.

The child is, however, believed to be related to the remains of a woman found seven miles away in Nassau. Dormer said it was likely but not confirmed that the two were mother and child.

Flanked by Chief of Detectives Dominick Varrone and Homicide chief Det. Lt. Gerard Pelkofsky, Dormer urged anyone with information regarding the identification of these victims to come forward.

He stressed that Crime Stoppers has offered a $25,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest in the case.

Nooooo! It was quoted in MSM, I am sure. I will try and find a link for you. If anyone else has it handy, please do post it. I think it was quoted in the recent newsmagazine special...was it 48 hrs?

I am a bit distracted today due to real life stuff but will find and link as soon as I can find it!

Ok so that comment came from nj.com via an interview conducted by TXT message. I hate to be skeptical, but I just don't believe everything in that article. Ok to be accurate, it admits the Michael Pak interview was via txt message, but doesn't specifically say how the Brewer interview was conducted. As someone with a tad of journalism experience I can't call any source via txt message credible. That article was always way too out of left field for me. How come MSM and more credible news sources (news12, abc, etc) couldn't land an interview with any of those 3: Pak, Diaz, and Brewer, and this small online newspaper could?

I can't consider nj.com MSM.

I found an article that quotes the transvestite statement...

""At first, it probably appeared I had something to do with it," said Brewer, who used to work in the finance industry and is the father of a young girl.

Brewer told The Star-Ledger last week that he questioned her gender that night. Those close to Gilbert say that’s an outrageous suggestion, since she is wholly woman.

But Brewer said Gilbert asked him if he had ever hired an online escort for sex. Then, he said she asked, "Have you come across any transvestites?" He was turned off, he said, and started to wonder if she was man or at least part man. "I wanted her out," he said. "
