I saw that JeannieC....striking resemblence!!

That's why I decided to bring the link over here about JWB. Every LEA in the nation should take a look at JWB for unsolved murders, IMO. This guy was a trucker and there is just no telling where all he has been. Ironically, the 3 women he is connected to murdering are all small stature, like the LISK GB4 victims. While he cannot be considered a suspect for the murders of the GB4 because he was incarcerated in '06-07 he could be responsible for other murders where the victims were strangled. MOO

I am stoked to hear about today's presser. Locals please keep up updated!!

wm:)

I wish we had more information on him. Where he lived, employment, and where he traveled. In one article I read it mentioned one trucking company he worked for, I believe when he murdered MH. I tried to get info on where the company was located and all I found with that name was a town in Canada.

Look at the missing females in SC. I counted 58 teens missing from 2009 - 2011 in Fla. Most listed as endangered runaways. Runaways usually go home at some point. Those were the only 2 states I checked so far.

I believe the sketch is of the unidentified Manorville woman, they're calling her Jane Doe 6... not the potential mother.

I just rewatched the conference and you are right, the sketch is of the un-ided manorville woman

also, to clarify...the toddler who was found approximately 250 feet from jane doe #6 (manorville victim from 2000) was not determined to be related to her, but was determined to be related to the woman found in nassau on april 11th. they may be mother and child. both of these bodies were wearing jewelry, of which pictures were provided, the mother was wearing two gold bracelets (snake and x and o with diamond like stones) and the toddler was wearing hoop earrings and a rope necklace. and they are suspected to have gone missing between 1-5 years ago...

I know there are many people on WS who painstakingly go through missing persons databases to try and match the missing up with unidentified bodies. How do we bring this new information to their attention? This is a general question for everyone but if a mod can point me in the right direction, that would be awesome. Thanks!!

final new point of interest...the other set of female remains found on april 11th in nassau have been linked by DNA to a pair of legs found on fire island in 1996...

I missed that leg point. That would make Fire Island dumping ground of the Manorville Torso Killer?
Another question: Is it just me or does that kind of jewelry look somewhat Indian as in India? Indish??? Sorry, English isn't my first language either. Hope you get the gist.

Do the UID's have threads in the unidentified forum? The information should be updated there.

Is the jewelry gold. People from India wear higher carat gold than we do in America.

@Stillwatersc: Not sure, I saw only some not too good pictures yet. But the style looked a little like that and the girl is only described as non-caucasian.

Hey Guys - can I please ask you to start a separate thread with the sketches and then a separate thread for the possibly that there are 3 killers out there?

Let's break this up a bit. Also, once the separate thread with the sketches is made, I'll link it to the UID forum. We have some great sleuths in that forum that work hard matching up the missing with UIDs.

Thanks,

Salem

If you don't get the threads made, I'll come back in a bit and do it :) Just busy at the moment.

it is gold in color, they didnt say what carat or whether it was real but you would think it would have to be real to withstand the elements for 1-5 years. unless they dont believe the bodies were there long upon discovery. i wish they would give us more info!

Dormer specifically stated that the jewelry was something that could be found anywhere around NYC (ie mass manufactured). We have no reason to jump to the idea that the victims were Indian. Statistically speaking there aren't going to be many Indian women in prostitution in the NYC area.

yes it does, where did that comment come from though as I don't remember and question whether that source was credible. was it LISK website hearsay?

Here you go truthspider. I am ignorant re: to the credibility of the source.

Brewer told The Star-Ledger last week that he questioned her gender that night. Those close to Gilbert say that’s an outrageous suggestion, since she is wholly woman.

But Brewer said Gilbert asked him if he had ever hired an online escort for sex. Then, he said she asked, "Have you come across any transvestites?" He was turned off, he said, and started to wonder if she was man or at least part man. "I wanted her out," he said.

I would like to note that like the legs that washed up separately in cold spring harbor, the legs that washed up on Davis Park, Fire Island were most likely dumped in the water or somewhere that they ended up in the water and drifted to Fire Island, and Cold Spring Harbor. I'm not just saying that because I have a house at Davis Park both of those instances were described as legs "washing up" in the reports.

I would also like to add that all of the females prior to 2006 had their legs specifically removed, while non of the males nor the child were dismembered. The dismembering seems to have stopped after 2005 or so. Also, the Atlantic city victims were shoeless but not dismembered. If Atlantic city is the same guy, then he seems to have gotten past the leg, foot fetish, completely after 2006. (Unless LE is hiding this fact from us about the gilgo 4, which would be a crazy revelation)

There was one of the gilgo 4 though, where the family was contacted later with more remains of their relative, and we debated whether that was due to dismembering and LE wasnt telling us, or animals/predators spreading the remains.

As more cases of dismembered legs keep coming up in this case, is anyone out there becoming more interested in the suspect who lost his leg in a traumatic accident?
I certainly am...

I'm just gonna throw this out there as crazy as it sounds, Mr Hyde has something in his possession, or discarded near by, that is in some way made from the females victims legs. I'm not saying he made a freaky prosthetic leg for himself that he wears while masturbating or anything crazy like that  just that he still has parts of those legs as a trophy, and possibly made a piece of clothing, belt, lampshade, furniture, or some other insane keepsake. At this point we shouldn't be surprised if this turns out to be the case. It is getting a little insane around Oak Beach.

if i were authorities though, i think this new information would still give me reason to comb though the wooded/desolate areas of fire island...it could be sort of like a sick scavenger hunt...the manorville bodies point us to gilgo (through parts of JT and Jane Doe in both places), gilgo to nassau (through the toddler and her relative found in nassau), nassau to fire island (through the UID woman in nassau and her legs in FI)...

Uploading the news 12 report video for you guys. Expect a link in about 20 minutes to it.

Some questions about that area on Fire Island....Davis Park - Does anyone know if vehicle access is allowed there?

Hi, WaltzingMatilda. My East Village street hasn't had prostitute semi-residents for years, but when it did, there were several transvestites and transgendered working girls plying their trade there. (And the best early morning breakfast place in my neighborhood, now sadly defunct, was the favorite haunt of an entire group of self-medicating transvestite hookers.) Sometimes these ladies of the night apparently at least temporarily convinced their would-be clients that they were indeed ladies. A super I knew in years gone by took one home, discovering his mistake at an almost embarrassing moment.

To me, Shannan's question (perhaps a sly putdown on her uptight john) and his slightly paranoid response are understandable given the nature of this bizarre trade.

As a confirmed minimalist, I'm still keeping the Gilgo Beach victims, Shannan, and the earlier victims as separate cases until I know more.
