LOL - I was just getting home from picking up the kids and was listening to XM but didn't catch the entire discussion, but they were saying the same thing basically... there have to be many many who he didn't kill and by studying the ones he did it will give LE much info.

ETA: I am starting to wonder if most of the women he sees work out of clubs or MP's, though. If he only splurges on escorts for the really crazy stuff, and those are the ones who end up dead. Hard to say, I guess.

I didn't catch who was saying it (but it was a female), my kids were all wound up and loud! I suspect it was one of their "Experts".

Maureen Brainard Barnes (2007)was last accounted for at Port Authority where she spoke to her friend over the phone and said she was headed home because she had been robbed. I think she encountered the SK there and saw the opporunity to perhaps recoup her losses. I don't think its a coincidence that 20 year old Jessica Taylor whose body was found in Manorville in 2003, was last seen at Port Authority as well. I think the SK used to troll that part of the city frequently or still does as well. Even though Taylor was dismembered and the four girls identified on Ocean Parkway were not. I think Taylor's head which was never found along with her hands might be among the remains that haven't been identified.

Taylor's head may have been the one they found but never talked about, previously linked article where locals "supposedly speak, there was a leg or long bone that washed up to.

I think the small town doth cover up much. (From a small town, no longer there, cover ups were frightening.)

I am a farm girl so I know a bit about burlap. And yes it's not the neatest of the packing materials, BUT it is dirt coloured so the body packed in it won't be spotted easily. And it decays along with the body. So the perp was thinking and, I think, planning carefully what he was doing. Carefully and neatly.

I have to share something with all of you. T.V., well cable now, are contacting any and all lawyers, prosecutors, defendants, and victims, they can for any kind of murder case. Depends on motive and title of show. (I have worked in criminal defense offices for over 20 years). They want anything they can turn into a show. Right now Investigative Discovery? M2? and Paula Zhan are going over board with basic interviews on this coast. (I don't have cable, I just field the crap, I am not certain of the show names, they call and say they are from whatever I never heard of.) Radio tries, but sadly no one appreciates anymore.

At any rate, the lawyers cannot say much, as you with cable will see. These are past cases, btw. They cannot say anything, even with the signed release from the victim/defendant, legal ease gets in the way.

The show, be it radio or televised, will be mostly fill in baloney by whomever is the main voice/reporter.

If there are many/many killing on LI, and leaving the dead, or if they are from whichever leftover SK, I'll eat my hat!

Sensationalism! The cases I have seen in the media were so outrageously sensationalized it is insane. One word, yes or no, after a question that is blurred by the reporter/asker, a half nod trying to understand, a half frown or smile, becomes a front page story.

This is why we have the idea of not having a jury selected in an immediate area. That too will change, once law catches up with technology.

ETA: I lost my point, too busy reading. The point is, reporters already have a story in mind. Can be from one word from a random thought, not a source, a THOUGHT, and if they get a sleep, they are going by this, they are overly stimulated and you, that have the facts see this. Reporter: "I have no idea what you are running by me 5 million miles fast in one sentence over caffeinated" A nod, or frown, that is a story. No confirmation, no words exchanged, just the reporter's own imagination, just to keep front page, and just to keep their job. IE. They ask a question really fast, they look at you (you said nothing but shook your head in not understanding, they write the front page story.) Be it full of unbelievable made up crap or not, they write it. No words exchanged. If words were exchanged, they leave a lot out, they CLIP it, for the selling idea in their head, or from the media outlet they work for, boss.

My brain is still going from A to M to B and back to Z.

One minute I'm thinking maybe this is a john who just got pissed off and killed everyone in the house. No Serial Killer just a killer who killed 4 people.

The other bodies? Maybe this is a well known dumping spot for PIMPS. We know there are some bad pimps that beat the girls, maybe some of them got killed.

Then I go back to it being a SK who has been doing this for years and years but never caught.

My fear is that this guy will be fixated on SG, sister! I would be willing to bet that he probably was watching her or still is.

Also, these prostitutes know each other or word goes around pretty fast in their line of work. My guess is many missing girls that other prostitutes went unreported because possibly afraid it was a "Pimp" that was involved.

What if SG got a text message from either the SK, or another prostitute and this is why she became paranoid, confused on who to go to. My thinking is that this SK was messing with her head hoping she would run, he might have been watching her as his next victim. Once she took off running and away from everyone else perhaps he grabbed her?

See my mind is all over the place and I hate that!

One thing that makes me think this isn't a pimp is the careful planning. I imagine pimps as being spontaneous and opportunistic. There are so many things that show this guy planned carefully. I watched a video of Joel Rifkin where he talks about reading about other serial killers. I would almost guarantee this guy did as part of his planning.

Already has. I don't think I would take the press conferences to heart. They deal with this as if it were the '70's. No one is afraid, but the women on the street. The press conf is b/c there was a man and child, and b/c they think the world is a panic. A town of 300 does not need a press conf.

There is a SK. He travels. He is not race or gender specific, age specific. Big deal, not the first.

Tell us the common known specifics so we know.
