I'm not so sure the neighbors of JB would say anything if there was an ongoing line of girls in and out. I had a situation here with neighbors where the son was a drug dealer. He used to leave the stash up in a treehouse, and you'd see teens go up and down that treehouse all night long picking up their drugs. He was later picked up for pushing pills at school.

His older sister had a lot of boyfriends, and they were in and out all the time. The house was a funny farm, but we never said anything. Cops were being called to the house, and when they asked neighbors if we noticed anything funny (drug activity) going on, we said "nope didn't notice a thing".

If these neighbors constantly saw girls in and out, do you think they'd talk?

Word is that there has been at least one male recovered. But the other news is that a few of the remains have been around far too long to be related to the Craigslist killer. I suspect that we'll know a lot more later today. It's entirely possible that the four girls in burlap are the only bodies related to the primary SK target. I haven't read enough about the second four bodies to develop any opinion. But it does seem unusual that all of the bodies have been on the same side of the road.

What if SG is not related to the SK at all. Or as the Dr. said she left the next morning and the SK since he lives in the area saw her and captured her.

SG was running around the neighborhood between 5 and 6 AM. Which 'night' did she supposedly stay at the doc's?

There was a nice little police officer murdered on a private island in NC for snooping around too much into illegal drug activities. (although the police ruled it suicide. She was shot in the back of her head for heaven sake! <www.officerdavinabuffjones.com>)

A group of us visited that island for a fishing tourney the summer before the murder. We won the tourney! Afterwards, we went back to the rented house to celebrate. We ran out of ice during the evening so I ask another lady if she would walk next door with me to ask to borrow ice as there were lights on and several golf carts parked outside. (only golfcarts and bicycles on the island.) We rang the bell and a lady came to the door. There was an indoor pool visible and all the people in it were naked. Then 3 men came into the room and surrounded us and the lady said we must show our to get ice. These 4 were all clothed. One of the men then exposed himself and my friend and I grabbed our cooler and ran back and told our group ( 8 couples of us).

Those men followed us and came uninvited into the house we stayed in and a fight insued. I don't think the guys expected that there were 8 healthy professional guys there. I can't recall being so afraid in my life.

The point is is that freakish things do happen in elite communities. The police was called that night but didn't do anything to help us. we learned the next day that the house where the swinger pool party was held was the island fire chief's house, woman who answered the door was his wife and the man who exposed himself was an EMT on the island.

Maybe or maybe not things are going on like this in JB's neighborhood but I agree with many of you who think something is being hidden. Things just aren't adding up for me. there are too many discrepancies in the stories of those who last saw Shannan!

Maybe SG gave her driver JG's number and the driver called JG when he arrived to get in the gate. Then JG would have had the driver's number on his caller id.

I just joined a few days ago, too. So we're newbies together. I'm a newspaper guy, too. That is an excellent point about the last name of the sister. I never enter last names.

The phones are a big clue in this whole case. There were lots of phone calls made. The john called the driver. SG called 911. The neighbor called 911. The killer called a past victim's family. The killer called SG's mom pretending to be a doctor...I guess. The killer called to set up all of the appointments. The boyfriend called the driver. If SG was on a 911 call that ended abruptly, what became of her phone? How did the john have the driver's number? How did the boyfriend have the driver's number? How did the killer have the family members' numbers?

I posted early this a.m. that I think that this sk could have confirmed the phone numbers of family members with the victims before they were killed or disappeared. The sk could have said, give me the right #'s, or I will kill you or torture you further.

I note cases where the killer forces a victim to write a note saying all is well, then kills the victim. Also, in the case of forcing victims to give correct pin numbers for debit cards, etc. at ATM's.

What I'm saying is that he could have verified the phone numbers with the victims so he could taunt the family members.

The skull and torso found on a desolate New York beach were too old to be connected to the serial killings of four Craigslist call girls, and could belong to victims of notorious Long Island butcher Joel Rifkin, the New York Post reported Wednesday.

"These [remains] are so old that roots were growing around the vertebrae and the skull," a source said.

"These could be one or two of Joel Rifkin's victims who were never found," or the work of another killer, the source added.

I hope this is just the opinion of the reporter and not LE or the FBI. This is sad. We don't know how long this killer has been doing this or how many places.

I was just going to ask that!!!!! I am trying to imagine what kind of medications Dr. Hackett keeps in his medicine cabinet...he called...then he said he didn't...then he said he did , but never said SG spent the night...then he said he only saw her...

maybe she spent a day with him at his treatment center in his basement or on his boat because she needed his help.

I wish we knew more about the 2nd set of bodies. I think it took over a month to learn the identities of the first 4 that were found. I look forward to today's presser and hope we learn something new.

That's a possibility. Do we know whether the 911 call was made before or after the call to the driver?

And am I the only person who finds it interesting that the john and driver seem to have the exact same story?

Wow...I'm just getting into this case and trying to read everything I can about it. I'm not shocked by much, but have to admit that this is definitely one of the more fascinating cases. I just can't imagine that more than one person would find the same "dumping ground" to dump their victims, but it definitely looks like it might be the case.
