~It really stands out to me that burlap/hessian sandbags are commonly used for beach-side/water-side houses to prevent water damage, erosion and flood control. Although burlap/hessian has immeasurable uses, I’m sure you see where I’m going with this.

Other burlap uses: (not from Wiki)-You can use them in your garden to protect trees and new grass seed.

Did anyone see the View today? Chris Cuomo talked briefly about the case and said there was a lot of bad reporting about it. He said the doctor was not a suspect and said something to the effect of - I won't mention his name because he's not a suspect and it's terrible that he's being accused.

Then about a minute later they flashed a picture - by accident, obviously - of the doctor! I think it was him anyway - almost certain!

There's no meaning in this other than that somehow they made a mistake and showed his picture, but it was certainly very odd coming right after Chris Cuomo talked about how this guy is being falsely accused and should be left to his privacy...!(paraphrasing here, of course!) So strange! (I'm sure no-one watching would even really have noticed, or known who it was a picture of - the panel were oblivious to it as well.)

Hi. New to this site sorry if I blunder! A few observations and then some questions...IMHO, when SG calls 911 and names her attacker I think she should be believed. Also, I think she was drugged. She may have seen something in JB's house or maybe was being strangled when she freaked out...then you have the bodies being found right where he lives...too much of a coinkidink 4 me.
Alot of SK's dispose of their victims in a location that can be seen by the killer, so they can re-live the murder.
Her driver had apparently been working with her for awhile (arrest record for both in 2009being referenced here), so I do believe his statements - also confirmed by GC...driver was looking for her.
I think JB may have called the driver BECAUSE she was freaking out and he KNEW she had already called 911, so she was not a good victim at this point - so to cover his a-- he called the driver and said come and get her.
I cannot believe that LE took 45 mins to respond when a woman says "they are trying to kill me." Also, maybe at least 2 other people called 911, and still no response. Makes me think maybe LE WAS in on it.
Questions (and pls forgive if they've already been asked)..

Is it possible that LE got hung up at the gate and couldn't get in?
How did LE eventually get into the gated community?

As for the phone calls to SG's family - TOTALLY POSSIBLE!!!!!!! Victim MB's sister was called from HER (MB's) cell phone, before anyone had published reports of her going missing...right? SG's mom is called also before posts in the press (it must have been from SG's cell - otherwise how did he get the number)?
Taunting...getting more bang for his buck. He's keeping their cell phones.
It's tough when we don't have much info to try to figure this one out.

One more observation: The SK is probably surfing the net just like the rest of us trying to find clues and info, after all, he found her ad on craigslist...maybe even a poster. I really hope LE solves this, but at this point I don't have alot of confidence in Suffolk County. WHY oh WHY didn't LE respond to her calls for help? Outrageous.

A couple more things I forgot:
Is it possible the SK "winters" in another location?
Do we know where JB works? Is it in the city of NY? Maybe near where the calls to MB's sister were made?

I think Shannon went to the job and was either already or went into psychosis due to her mental illness made worse by drug use or going off her meds. After she ran from the party, ran from the driver, ran from the elderly neighbor she most likely ran across the serial killer. The 911 operator (I believe) heard what sounded like her being abducted. I don't believe she named her abductor at all and it was just a coincidence that she was thinking someone was out to kill her. If this is correct, it is terrifying. I still think the doctor should be highly suspicious because of the phone call he admits to making, and his living in the area of the bodies. The calling of family members from numbers gotten off the victims' cell phone could be part of a MO. There may be calls made to other folks and we just don't know yet.

However, I should clarify that it appears this poster lives in Pa., not L.I. but has traveled all over. And he has a clear and deep knowledge of A.C. and strip clubs, hotels, girls etc.. Now obviously this could be a coincidence even though I think this guy has problems in his own right. But I certainly will not cast dispersions or make accusations without actual evidence.

I have seen several Craigslist girls as well as the more established and better advertised ladies. With CL the hobbyist must be more careful and do better planning (escape plans). I have met several gems from CL and a few I would rather forget. I have also had bad dates from other lists such as escorts.com
I will say this, I think craigslist of 12 to 18 months ago was a much better resource than it is today, far fewer scams then.

Shannan's sis states that she doesn't necessarily think the doc has anything to do with her sister's appearance. However, she states someone made the phone call to her mother a few days after Shannon disappeared saying Shannan was staying at the doc's that night, left in the morning with her driver, etc.

Suffolk C police said they were never told about that phone call, never given that information. Sis says that's an outright lie! She and family told them half a dozen times.

Dormer says Gilbert family has never conveyed to detectives that PH had called them regarding Shannan being in PH's home the night she disappeared. That's a lie, says Sister. Why would we make this up, asks Sister. Not their fault LE didn't write it down.

During the presser yesterday, Dormer stated that the doc "was not a suspect."

Hi, Txvicki. I think that much of what you write is sensible. Both the mother and sister spoke of the end of the 911 call; in one account, one of them referred to a struggle and a truck. To me, it is unclear however when the 911 call ended; I'm sure that the police have a much precise timeline on when she passed the gated community's video and when the call ended. As for the doctor, I'm a bit uncertain because much of what we have heard about him comes from the patchwork memories of the sister who must have been under intense stress retracing the path of Shannan's path that tragic night.

The cell phones can be purchased at the checkout counters at Walmart with cash, check, credit card. It comes with a number that has to be activated, but can be activated from a pay phone or through the internet. At no point in the transaction or their use does an identity have to be revealed. The $55 a month limitless call version comes with a cell phone with internet access and e-mail if you want to establish a screen name. It will also take pictures. The first one comes with either a number of minutes or the monthly limitless fee. If you close the minute-buying plan all you have to do is buy another card for more minutes. Or you can throw it away.

This is all very confusing. More it is distracting from what LE has 4 dead girls. I think the family and LE can be telling the truth as they see it. Flip that around and LE/family may be bending the truth as they see it.
