it's really hard for me to grasp a boyfriend being okay with his significant other being a prostitute....

what does it say about the man?

It says to me that "boyfriend" is a euphemism for pimp. I once knew a man who sent his wife out to prostitute herself because they were both so strung out neither of them could work. That's what kind of man he was.

Then why haven't "boyfriends" been rounded up and locked up?

I've been back and forth time and time again. JB is responsible for SG's disappearance! No MP is! NO CPH is!
The more I read everyone's posts and the more I think about it, the more I believe that MP has EVERYTHING to do with SG's disappearance.
First of all, some of what we THINK we know about the night Shannan disappeared, I think came from Mike Pak. IMO, he told HIS VERSION of the story. But did we ever see his face in the media? Was he ever really interviewed? No. We can find atleast 2-3 different videos of JB and CPH being interviewed. Not MP. If he was innocent, why wouldn't he want to prove it and help get to the bottom of this? I bet he never even spoke with the family and showed his respect.
JB says Shannan wouldn’t leave his house. Why? Obviously she wasn’t scared of someone or something in the house. Why did she run away from the driver, who is supposed to be there for her protection? Why did she run from him AGAIN when MP got to Gus Coletti’s house? And with her running on foot and MP in his SUV, how could he NOT have caught up to her? She couldn’t have gone too far before there‘s no where else to go. And honestly, I don’t think there was 1 person in that community that would have really offered help or let her in their home, or even pretended to offer help to keep her/kill her. I think everyone was locking their doors!
Also, as I have mentioned before, MP says he found Shannan on the phone with 911 when he got into JB’s house. But when the neighbor, Gus C. says he called the police, MP says he shouldn’t have done that and that SG was going to be in big trouble. I thought he knew SG was already on the phone with them? JB knows what really happened that night. As he said, the truth will come out, or something like that. He knows what was going on between SG and MP that night and that‘s why he said that.
Hearing SG’s mom talking about Shannan needing money to buy her a Mother’s day gift and all that, at first, I didn’t really think too much of it. But putting that together with JB saying SG didn’t look like the photo he saw online, and the confusion between SG being there for 1 hour as per JB and SG being there for 3 hours as per MP. It leads me to believe there was a definite argument over money, imo. MP wanted to be paid for 3 hours. Shannan probably only got paid for 1.
Plus, playing online poker on his cell phone in his SUV seems like a pretty weak alibi, imo.
With all that said, I’m not sure if I believe SG ran into the same person that MBB, MB, MW, and ALC did. But if Shannan DID experience the same fate, why should MP be ruled out as a suspect in that case as well? He has ties to escorting, being a driver, and probably at one point, or some points been the client. I believe he lives in NY. He is Asian and might prefer women of petite stature. He drives an SUV.
I guess they DO have to find her body first to get this SOB.

This whole ramble is MOO.

We need more news updates on this case! They have already established that they aren't going to lose money this summer. The beach goers/vacationers aren't affected by this case, so ok good you wont lose money, now let's get back to the case...HELLO!??

I keep coming back to MP myself. I also keep coming back to the "drifter" or unknown person at the party that night. The fact that all other people involved have been identified and this person has not STINKS to me! Is it a cover up? Or something else?

Maybe it's me holding out hope. But, I am guessing that this thing has gone quiet for a reason. But, then I think....

Maybe i'm just tired here, but something doesn't add up re SG's 911 call (23 mins, from 4:51 am to 5:14 am) and her being pulled into a vehicle. On the site that shows the map and timeline (can't find link right now) it indicates the 911 call from Coletti and then another 911 call from a neighbour at 5:22. If her call ended with her being pulled into a vehicle at 5:14, how could the other neighbour have seen her at 5:22?

SG and gilgo 4 are connected (if you don't agree, don't bother reading my post)

MP has no connection to oak beach prior to May 1.

MP is Chinese and in any sort of a rational world wouldn't make fun of someone for being not completely white.

MP is likely bilingual (chinese), otherwise arrangement to transport a woman from China to US would be extremely difficult, none of the receivers of the taunting calls mentioned an accent.

MP works in the sex industry: that does not fit the known profile of our SK who has an intense disdain for prostitutes.

MP entered a police station to report SG missing.

Police have questioned 2 men (who don't know each other) in detail about the events of May 1: and are satisfied with their versions of the event. I don't work in investigations but I'm pretty sure even a crappy detective could easily crack that safe if one of them was lying (ie is the SK).

MP knows SG's "boyfriend" and boyfriend knows MP is her driver, hence boyfriend would know MP was with her when she disappeared. Therefore if MP is SK, then boyfriend is a co-conspirator, and I'm not buying overly complex scenarios like that.

SG family has heard/or read transcript of SG "name" her attacker, yet SG mother publicly chants CPH name, not MP.

MP returned to oak beach to search for SG.


** SG may have been afraid to get in car with MP because he was the deliverer of the drug SG ingested causing her to believe she was in harms way. He may have picked up drug at cvs or locally, but SG only knows that he gave her the pill. (possible explanation for fear of MP)

Now that is just downright weird. What is the connection here? I wonder if the SK is toying with the families of these women. Has the SK set up these accounts. Or has he hacked these accounts? We know he stoops to 'teletaunting' so I wouldn't doubt 'he' stoops to 'cybertaunting'. I feel this person is quite tech saavy and has some time on his hands if he is doing such a thing. I think he travels. I'll elaborate on this theory in a subsequent post.

I'm not a statistition but it seems really odd to me that 8/10 of these women are somehow connected on FB. All are from different cities in the east, the AC4 laid out all nice and neat in intervals facing east, sans socks and shoes. The GB4 are all stripped of clothing and jewelry, encased in burlap sacks spaced out in intervals along OP.

I hope you all don't feel I am being insensitive by stating this, but it seems to me that this SK lays out his 'catch' for public view just like the charter boat fishermen when they dock after a day of good fishing. (I live in a coastal town and watch charter fishing boats as they come and go past my home and I see how the catch is laid out on the docks for photos. It is a sense of pride amongst fishermen) Could this be his signature?

I do think the AC/LI cases could be connected and that the detectives just haven't 'got it' yet or they are just denying it altogether and holding cards close to the vest.

Hmmm, it could also just be pathetic trolls. They do things like that all the time. They could have either made the accounts after news reports came out and then linked them or they could have hacked previously existing accounts. Those bottom-feeders have no limits to how low they'll sink to provoke emotional responses in the face of tragedies.

Whether or not those AC Facebook profiles were made by the SK or just trolls, they are downright creepy to me and I truly hope that LE has investigated this. I found those profiles last week and it truly made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. I also find Melissa's profile picture to be very sad. I think her profile is legit though. I've tried to see if there's a profile for Jessica Taylor, but I haven't been successful. If one turns up, then we can pretty much bet that it's trolls or the killer (she was killed before FB was open to the general public-i.e. anyone could have a profile, not just students at particular universities).

I didn't know that Pak went to a police station to report Shannan missing. He's still suspicious, IMO. I really wish they'd release that 911 call transcript. I also would like to know if the police ever investigated that "older white guy" on LI who was a repeat client of Melissa. I know that her boyfriend/pimp might be shady, but it frustrates me that LE did not take him up on his offer to show them where he lives. Anyone know the name of Melissa's boyfriend? I'd like to see if we could find any connections between him and MP or any of the other women.

Wow! Thank you for the link to the Myspace account. I have never seen it before, and I agree with Seaslug-that comment is very odd.

It's also really sad that her last status update indicated her mood as "depressed". The date seems to indicate that this was right before she went missing (if this is from that same year).
